That’s very interesting. The groves seem to be associated with the tip O rings...but damn. You tried it right? How did it work out?Seems I'm not as crazy as I though.
I removed the condenser and tip that came with the omni. Surprisingly there was a groove to hold the ccd in the stem itself.
Already done it! Only difference is that the early (2017/2018) caps are narrower and tighter fitting so heat up is 2 seconds quicker with a cold bowl and 1 second faster with a warm bowl. I get slightly bigger clouds with the new Omni compared to the 2017 Omni regardless of which cap I use and the cooling with the new condenser is superior to the Simrell, so much so that I sold my Stinger.thank you man.
can you test the new omni tip with an old cap?
I use induction heaters so noBut when you use half a bowl, the area of the cap on which you direct the flame changes, doesn't it?

Seems like a good way to burn your fingers lolHave you tried hitting a bowl like that?

I was very disappointed with the Stinger. I use my Omni with the condenser at max extension, and never feather the air port. You can't do that with the Stinger and when I tried it in my Omni and M's I wasn't getting the same performance and the cooling effect, to me, was minimal at best compared to the Omni condenser and imo it costs too much. I haven't tried a vortex so can't offer an opinion on it but I am glad they work for you.my simrell vortex cools way better than this new omni, sorry I have to disagree
maybe the stinger is a bit different, but my wood and Ti vortexs are still king in that department
I haven't but it's all I been thinking about since ordering it. I was just playing around on my lunch break. The cap is pretty snug though.Have you tried hitting a bowl like that?
I agree I love the new Omni it is greater than the old one but my vortex still cools a bit better, but the omni gives a different high love them both. Don't have a stinger but would like to buy one in the near future.my simrell vortex cools way better than this new omni, sorry I have to disagree

Do you prefer to use half bowl, and then fill it more often but vaping "fresher" weed, or the whole bowl?
For example, if you are "in the mood for 0.2g" would you prefer to fill two full bowls or four half bowls?
For the "stupid questions" series
My new Vong is stuck! The wood sleeve no longer rotates. Rotated freely for a couple of days and is now locked up. Any suggestions?
No such thing as a stupid question dude, personally I go the full bowls as it takes less time for me to bake em.
Damn that sucks! Contact dynavap and ask them to send you the functional product that you paid for.
I'm hearing more and more about these new vongs jamming. Dynavap needs to up their pre release testing game.
So do all the new vapcaps come with the captive cap as standard now?
all models in general?
Are they trying to make the Captive the new default Cap?
I thought I was the only one. I have the short vortex and I also found it tasted better.my simrell vortex cools way better than this new omni, sorry I have to disagree

I hate the captive cap whispy hit rattles to much, I immediately put on the standard cap amd it started to get denser vapor. I hope they will still sell it in the future or I will stock up.
I have one. I’m a fan. You might keep your eye on his MVS he is about to release. The adjustable airport on the new Simrell Ti body paired with the Stinger is sounding . $150 for the early release. The adjustable airport seems like it will work in a similar fashion as the VonG but metal on metal instead of wood on metal. I’m liking the new airport on the VonG, so Simrell MVS is probably up my alley, but I still struggle to make sense of my Omnis adjustable airports? One more Dynavap and I’ll be good swear.Don't have a stinger but would like to buy one in the near future.
Not at all I use the old cap on my 21 omni and the condenser actually cools the vapor, only difference between the caps is the hooks on it cuz ppl couldn't figure out how to squeeze the original cap to shape it. I'm sorry for being a little salty at the thought of losing the standard cap.kind of defeats the purpose of purchasing any of the 2021 lineup no?
