@thunderstealer1337, Do you notice a difference in cooling between the assassin and the shellshock?
hard to say, the assassin is currently modded with a glass condenser which has a smaller tapered opening vs a reg condenser right now, the shellshock has a similar reg condenser opening, but if you use the vortex condenser it is definitely cooler.

For $250 I would opt for a tinyMight! -YMMV

Gotta admit, tho, the name is killa. :rip:

Look a little deeper friend.
$250 is for his highest end, complete with fully anodized Ti tip and cap. This is not your AverageJoe assassin.

I got my Ti Assassin stem (no tip/cap) for $75 shipped, and the SS variant starts at $55.

I hear ya Stark!
I'm not a customer at $250 either... $55-75 is far more digestible.
I am a little confused. If the whole vape, including special cap and tip, sells for $250, why is it inappropriate to compare it to the complete TM that sell for about the same price? I love my vapcaps, all of them, but I wouldn't compare any of them to a TM at the same price. I don't have any really pretty ones like the ShellShock seems to be, but still...

I'm sorry, I should have said Assassin. Same statement, tho...

for example a Turbo Twist gives a different experience from the M. But to say that the experience or even vapor quality is better per se is just nonsense. In case of the Vortex it actually did put me off after my initial curiosity
No it's not nonsense, and yes, the vortex vapor quality is better than the standard Omni condenser/stem. Ive used both. It's not a giant difference, but there is a difference. Im not defending the big price tag of the Simrell, I'm just saying that it's false to claim that the vapor quality is identical between the two.

@mccringleberry – Yeah, as I said there are differences, I don't see where we disagree.

Oh, you mean the „better vapor quality“ part? Yeah, well... since it's, as you say, not a giant difference I suppose it can be filed under „personal preference“. I was referring to the marketing, which in case of the Vortex just went a bit too far in its claims. At least for my taste.

If anyone was thinking about some glass stems, sneaky Pete is doing a deal until tomorrow where you buy an aristocrat and get a hula free. These are both very nice glass stems, and, bonus, also work with Fury Edge/POTV One/etc glass adapter

I was wondering how that would fit in a 14mm joint. If not well than I think I will pass. I love DDave's wands for that fit, but both of mine are damaged on the tip side and I was hoping to replace one with this.

I resisted for a long time but my poor fingers finally convinced me to invest. Spinning that Vapcap for years sure hurts after a point.
Orion couldn't have become at a better time for me.

Game changer indeed!

Not getting single flame hits yet but I will be working on it... 😏😁

Edit: Charging is looking ok for the time. I was worried with Dynavap's mail just before I put my hands on it...

Got mine same day of the email has operated as it is supposed to. Have been wondering if the magnet could be heating up the battery if used frequently to cool the cap and decided to use my stash magnet instead jic. Personally have found Ti base of the bowl doesn’t reach my desired temp without 3 heat cool cycles, SS19 will do this in 2 can do in one with a couple blinks past the click but i find the multi cycle method safer to avoid combustion so far. Orion seams to heat the front half of the bowl and tip more thus a quicker click that tend to result in whispy vapor and dense dyna hits come from the base of the bowl heating over the tip so need more time to get the base hot enough to perform with dense hits. I recommend cycle method to start to reach better results, then experiment with beyond the click methods.

What up y’all. I’m usually posting over in NewVapes threads but love me some Dynavap. I recently bought another NewVape AVB Can to convert to a Dynavap debowler. WARNING: these were a limited run and I don’t believe they will be making them anymore. I added a cork top to their knocker, a Ti poker, and a 1/2” diametric magnet. I am waiting on a BC decapper but couldn’t help myself. Like I said, I love me some NewVape and it seemed like a perfect match. Here it is with my Ed’s TNT amboyna burl two tone Xl with a 14mm taper sitting on top of it. 25607DD1-5E81-4373-BC2C-9C8A1C213003.jpeg

Anyone tried the shell shock into water? It doesn't feel that secure a connection in a 10-14mm adapter, in a bong. At least it seems.

Would I be better off with a BB9 or Assassin? IH is SJK.

i use a oring on the 2nd grooved indentations, this works well on the shellshock and the joeking assassin, in fact I am not even going to bother with their drip tips for a wpa

It’s (aristocrat stem) not a good seal with 14mm, even though it looks like it should be...

question for assassin owners: do you use the intercooler AND a condenser, or just one or the other
