Last year, during either BF or 420 (can't remember), Simrell had a 15% off sale. In a fit of VAS I almost bought the vortex, until I looked in my cart. Normally, he offers free shipping on $150 orders or more. When he offered the sale, the vortex fell below $150 and he then hit you with the shipping fee that cancels away half the discount. It was only a $10 difference, but cheesy enough for me to snicker and walk away.
Like something PT Barnum would do.

Intercooler in the assasin is a gimmick, works good with normal condensor or even omni but dont waste time with the intercooler in there.

I have a question for you VapCap Pros.
As I am thinking about getting an IH.
I like the VapCaps and that I can heat them pretty high, but they make my old lung cough quite a bit SS, Ti etc. even if I get the torch heating good.
Does an IH make a big difference for the smoothness of the vapour?
I do use my VapCaps pretty regularly but not as main vaporizer. Would you suggest I get an IH? The Orion with its portability or something similar appeals to me.
Edit: I only can get either orion or apollo2 rover. Or if someone could direct me to where something like this was discussed. Thanks

I would order the originals from dynavap or a retailer. I think the o-rings are out of a special heat resistent material.Does you know the o-ring size for the vapcap? Like to order some spares.

@Thick Vape - if you have trouble with a flame, you'll have trouble with an IH.

This was my experience also. If a torch was all you could use, I would have stopped using vapcaps a long time ago. IH's were my savior. I was lousy with a torch, and that was after a few years of trying to find a happy place with several vapcaps and my Lotus. Actually had more success with the Lotus in that regard.
I use all @Pipes stuff, but I certainly wouldn't mind trying out a FD.
Shell Shock XL from VGoodiEZ . This thing rips like a champ . Adjustable air flow, very smooth, comparable to my Omni and only $50 !I bought one and loved it so much I got another.

I found the Orion a lot smoother than.a torch but I get far bigger clouds with a torch vs IH....I like the spiney torch hits!!!

Yes and the oring are spares form joeking assassin's stems, I'm sure if you Google the specs of his stem somewhere he posts up oring sizes, FYI I owned 2 of his stems and the orings are different.
Also if you buy the entire tip/cap/bb stem from vgoodiez you can get 20% off the tip/cap as well.

Huh, do you own one? The intercooler only improves it, either it spinning or sitting in a fixed/held location

Hoping someone who has tried both the Simrell Vortex and the Shellshock can give a vapor quality comparison.
