I made something. Built out of LEGO with a Technic motor and battery box inside it's the way to torch a Dynavap when you don't want to spin. I laugh at the concept but this is what happens when I medicate. Plus, they're perfect for each other.

No, I don't think it's the next iteration. June is just the revised ship date to help set expectations for all preorders, but I think they are still hoping to start shipping out in May if they can . . .

I would really like a portable unit that is durable and user friendly. I'd like to take it with me on a bike ride, hike, or fishing and not worry. For those of you who use an IH in an active lifestyle which has worked best for you?

The Fluxer Flix looks awesome. Love that is has an extra momentary switch. Nice concept.

Nothing you can't build with Lego! Have the Mindstorms kits. That is one way to keep a kid busy in these time! Awesome toys!

Ton, IMO while the Apollo works as advertised, it seems to be a commercial unit, made for
Mass consumption.






An earlier version of his IH, made by the same person, is a little bit more attractive. YMMv

You could do some really cool stuff with Mindstorms built in. Having a preset timer after you press the button is the first thing that comes to mind. I have a Mindstorms brain and a bunch of motors but not the full kit and I haven't played around with it much. Very cool stuff though.

You probably could make it variable but it's something I would have to really think about. I never built Technic as a kid and since I got back into after having kids I've only built one set (Arctic Truck). Technic blows my mind when it comes together. Very cool stuff. I'm better with bricks.

Every cap is different. Some have a double click on the heat up or cool down or both. But yes, that is very possible. You just get to know what that cap does. I have one that has a third click on the cool down which comes like 20 seconds after the second. My DD cap has one on the heat up and a quick double on the cool down if sitting on a mag, otherwise only a single cool down click. haha

Agreed, I'm going on 3.5 years with the titanium Dynavap 7-fin tip and am still digging it just as much.
