Ooh ooh ooh I forgot about Big Mouth! It’s amazing, especially after having enjoyed some primo herb in an omnivap
Yes, there is an Apollo 2. It is listed on Lucid Customs site atm with multiple wood and battery or plug in options. Theyre out of stock now, but they were available not too long ago.
People on Reddit were losing it saying how ugly this was - I like it a lot though!
I’m doubtful though. Wasn’t @Pipes the OG? I only have experience with his Caldron - and it’s excellent.
That being said, I love this graphic so much. It reminds me of @ataxian’s sweet avatar - wanna trade for a week haha??
dynaverse keeps expanding...
edit - does anyone know if this is really an “Apollo 2”? Lucid Customs made the Apollo - is there any meaningful update?
Bro that induction heater is ugly as hell. I'd rather look at an un-cased, bare electrical components, diy build compared to this, it looks like a funky kids lunch box.
Whats funny, is I'm almost two weeks on a t-break (edible tonight doesn't count) and I've actually been almost craving a bowl from a dynavap. That's what I started vaping with, like a lot of us, but my dynavap collection has windled down to a defect M19 tip in a nonavong body, with not mouthpiece or condenser. It's what I used with my dynacoil for shatter and small water piece. Really caked up with reclaim on the inside of the wood, I consider it well seasoned.
Anyway, I wasn't craving THAT nasty ass little vapcap, but for some reason, I thought that a nice vapcap would be the best thing to hit when I come back from the break. I might have to pick up one of those cap N coil tip kits and find a maker on here for a solid stem.
The improvements are listed on his site. Off the top of my head...
-better battery life
-no more intermittent switch activation
-"better" performance
Ya I mean its straight from the horses mouth, so take with a grain of salt.Uhhhhh wutttttt? I tried re-reading that and all I can say is...I like a good lunch, an induction heater, and a dynavap (not necessarily in that order) but I don’t like t-breaks?
Infinite battery life? Because the Apollo 2 is a plug-in model.
The rest kind of sounds vague?
- New coil design for better vapor production
- New capacitor prevents intermittent switch activation issue seen on the first Apollo
- Improved magnet adhesion

The Apollo 2 appears to be either. At one point he had a fair amount of listings for rechargable Apollo 2's. Maybe Dyna only sells the electric version. Since one of his "improvements" is better battery life, that seems to indicate there's battery versions.
Here's one rechargable listing thats sold out. https://lucidcustoms.com/products/apollo-induction-heater
I am under the impression they are identical other than the faceplate and of course the battery with some alternate internals on the rechargable ones.Oh true! Sorry I meant the Dynatec one...
The Lucid Customs one is so classy compared to the Dynatec! I like both designs though.
Unless you are totally sold on the look of the Dynatec, it seems to me that the Caldron is a much better deal for a plug in IH. At best the Dynatec might work as good as the Caldron, but it seems to be twice the size and almost twice the price.
Well done, I really like the minimalism.Simplicity is a VapCap and desire.
Flowering Quince stem; 78mm carbless straight taper, all natural and lightweight.
Clean as hell dude, looking good.Simplicity is a VapCap and desire.
