Those are actually very cool, but I have my doubts that they are tattoos. If they ARE tattoos than I am incredibly impressed at the artist. I wouldn't think flesh would cooperate with that kind of precision and detail...

I had wondered about that, they seem so delicate, so beautiful....

Tattoos usually look like they could scare the fuck out of me.....:worms::shit:

@Dynavaper - I've had ink and a beard for 20 years plus (before it was cool). Does this mean that I am ridiculous and generic?

Yes. That's what it means. You are are a generic and ridiculous Instagram mothertrucker. ;)
NO! Not at all, of course! I am really sorry if you think that I wanted to insult people like illustrated on the website in general and therefore you. I think you got my point and are just poking me around a bit. It's just that the new website design seems generic to me for the reason that I have stated. Maybe it's just me, so it's indeed not important and especially not a good cause to get into trouble with a tattooed and bearded man like you.:rockon::love:

My last reply on this topic, while I have no tattoos myself, or interest in having any, I have seen many tattoos that were quite beautiful, even stunning. While I personally don't view the human body as a canvas, I can easily understand why others do and don't in any manner object any more.
I wish I could take the same view about other types of body modifications, but branding and implanting objects to create shapes and stuff like that is a little obscene to me and self abusive. The reason this is hard for me is that on one level it is only a matter of degrees, but I can't help being unnerved by it. And on some level I'm sure that that is exactly why some people do it, and I hate to give them that, but there it is.

Bringing this back to DynaVap, I think it is wise of George to reflect all of his customers on his website, and as long as he isn't showing just one type of customer, I see no reason for him not to include all types. After all, tattoos are very mainstream today, and folks like me who have NONE are not that common. When I was growing up if you had a tattoo you likely got it while in the military, in prison, or in Nazi Germany. There were, of course, exceptions, but they were just that, exceptions.

Anyway, I like the artistic approach DVs web designer is taking and I like it. I also like the animation and exploded view of the Omni. It is attractive while being instructive, and I think that is clever.

Anyone at the Mary Jane in Berlin this weekend?
Will meet up George and the guys from VapoShop NL on Thursday in a nice old wihelminian Market Hall with international street food and a really good craft brewery.

Tattoos or no tattoos... the picture stood out to me initially and I didn’t know why. Upon looking a bit more closely, both of those guys (models?) on their homepage picture aren’t holding the VCs naturally at all.

Dude on the right is holding the M backwards, and dude on the left looks like he’s about to light a cigarette.

DVs ad campaign doesn’t matter to me one bit, just a funny observation I thought

Well, the guy on the right isn't smoking so who cares what direction he's holding it. I don't always hold it in a certain direction. The only pic that can use improvement is the one with the 2 guys seated; the guy on the left wearing a red hat. Well, the guy on the right is holding a light wood vong, but if you are not familiar with the product line you won't even know it as the light wood blends into his skintone & the table top, & the shirt being a pink bisque color further reduces color differentiation.

Personally, I would never buy from a company who had people with sunglasses on their web site. Both of those men were wearing sunglasses. What are they hiding?

And, why are there no women in the picture? Do only men use Vapcaps?

Keep refreshing any page you're on & the pic will change & you'll see several pics of women. Men & women don't have to be in the same shot.

So do I pal.
A poem about pronunciation.

The poem below is called "The Chaos" and was written by G. Nolst Trenite, a.k.a. Charivarius (1870-1946). See:
http://www.wordsmith.org/awad/english.html

Read it aloud:

Dearest creature in creation,
Study English pronunciation.
I will teach you in my verse
Sounds like corpse, corps, horse, and worse.
I will keep you, Suzy, busy,
Make your head with heat grow dizzy.
Tear in eye, your dress will tear.
So shall I! Oh hear my prayer.

Just compare heart, beard, and heard,
Dies and diet, lord and word,
Sword and sward, retain and Britain.
(Mind the latter, how it's written.)
Now I surely will not plague you
With such words as plaque and ague.
But be careful how you speak:
Say break and steak, but bleak and streak;
Cloven, oven, how and low,
Script, receipt, show, poem, and toe.

Hear me say, devoid of trickery,
Daughter, laughter, and Terpsichore,
Typhoid, measles, topsails, aisles,
Exiles, similes, and reviles;
Scholar, vicar, and cigar,
Solar, mica, war and far;
One, anemone, Balmoral,
Kitchen, lichen, laundry, laurel;
Gertrude, German, wind and mind,
Scene, Melpomene, mankind.

Billet does not rhyme with ballet,
Bouquet, wallet, mallet, chalet.
Blood and flood are not like food,
Nor is mould like should and would.
Viscous, viscount, load and broad,
Toward, to forward, to reward.
And your pronunciation's OK
When you correctly say croquet,
Rounded, wounded, grieve and sieve,
Friend and fiend, alive and live.

Ivy, privy, famous; clamour
And enamour rhyme with hammer.
River, rival, tomb, bomb, comb,
Doll and roll and some and home.
Stranger does not rhyme with anger,
Neither does devour with clangour.
Souls but foul, haunt but aunt,
Font, front, wont, want, grand, and grant,
Shoes, goes, does. Now first say finger,
And then singer, ginger, linger,
Real, zeal, mauve, gauze, gouge and gauge,
Marriage, foliage, mirage, and age.

Query does not rhyme with very,
Nor does fury sound like bury.
Dost, lost, post and doth, cloth, loth.
Job, nob, bosom, transom, oath.
Though the differences seem little,
We say actual but victual.
Refer does not rhyme with deafer.
Foeffer does, and zephyr, heifer.
Mint, pint, senate and sedate;
Dull, bull, and George ate late.
Scenic, Arabic, Pacific,
Science, conscience, scientific.

Liberty, library, heave and heaven,
Rachel, ache, moustache, eleven.
We say hallowed, but allowed,
People, leopard, towed, but vowed.
Mark the differences, moreover,
Between mover, cover, clover;
Leeches, breeches, wise, precise,
Chalice, but police and lice;
Camel, constable, unstable,
Principle, disciple, label.

Petal, panel, and canal,
Wait, surprise, plait, promise, pal.
Worm and storm, chaise, chaos, chair,
Senator, spectator, mayor.
Tour, but our and succour, four.
Gas, alas, and Arkansas.
Sea, idea, Korea, area,
Psalm, Maria, but malaria.
Youth, south, southern, cleanse and clean.
Doctrine, turpentine, marine.

Compare alien with Italian,
Dandelion and battalion.
Sally with ally, yea, ye,
Eye, I, ay, aye, whey, and key.
Say aver, but ever, fever,
Neither, leisure, skein, deceiver.
Heron, granary, canary.
Crevice and device and aerie.

Face, but preface, not efface.
Phlegm, phlegmatic, ass, glass, bass.
Large, but target, gin, give, verging,
Ought, out, joust and scour, scourging.
Ear, but earn and wear and tear
Do not rhyme with here but ere.
Seven is right, but so is even,
Hyphen, roughen, nephew Stephen,
Monkey, donkey, Turk and jerk,
Ask, grasp, wasp, and cork and work.

Pronunciation -- think of Psyche!
Is a paling stout and spikey?
Won't it make you lose your wits,
Writing groats and saying grits?
It's a dark abyss or tunnel:
Strewn with stones, stowed, solace, gunwale,
Islington and Isle of Wight,
Housewife, verdict and indict.

Finally, which rhymes with enough --
Though, through, plough, or dough, or cough?
Hiccough has the sound of cup.
My advice is to give up!!!
Un real . Lead zeppelin on the head phones.:science:

I wouldn't want to argue with Dusty
You would no doubt win the argument, have you heard him talk, he sounds about as bright as a busted light bulb. He would be a good poster boy for; Why Footballers Should Wear Helmets :)

Has anyone tried the 9v anodizing yet? I noticed that the anodizing can wear off over time on other items, so doing it yourself may be better in the long run as you can remove the anodizing with Rust Converter then reapply a new coat at anytime to make it look good again.
I told my wife about how easy it looked and she said she might try it at school as a science experiment with her kids (she is a primary school teacher). I said, `Good excuse for me to get an Omnivap XL`, she just shook her head.

There are other photos in the site, with women. And the cropped pix, as well.

While I would be sad, does this subtle change forshadow a possible change of hands.

Could the creator of the VapCap Concept be on retirement mode, letting others take over, and
eventually, buy the company?

Sad day, indeed. :ugh:
