Lonesome Planet
Confession time: I've always considered myself a lightweight consumer, a microdoser. My Ti Tips are set to smallest and I used to hit it usually just once an evening and be floating for hours. I've had some ill health of late and am not working. I have to pass the time but I don't have much energy for outdoor activities just now....so, I vape. I vape in the morning 'fore the sun comes up (with a hey-diddle-diddle and haway we go), I vape at noon when my mood is low (with a hey-diddle-diddle and haway we go), I vape in the evenining and I vape at night and my cbd screens seem to have got pushed down ever so slightly. I know a T break will fix it but I'm not concerned, it's still well less than 0.5g/day.
I never used to save ABV from my VapCaps - I think I get all the goodies possible out of them BUT now I'm sometimes vaping in the DaVinci Ascent gently at 170º, 180º, 190ºC (go convert), then caching out the ABV and blowing off the rest in the NonaVong . Waste not, want not :myday:

You seem like my kind of happy camper.

Between my VapCap and Fury, I have scarce time to myself. I am one happy Cub Scout.
Dose micro dose capules from HR makes microdosing a lark!

Me piggy bank is gaining heft!

I really want to try out the hemp filter idea, but am not going to bother until I master the basic technique.

Well, I don't think the hemp fiber filter is for everyone, especially if you like reclaim. And it does have a bit of a taste. But if you like a clean condenser and smoother vapour it's worth it. I personally love it. My lungs can be sensitive at times.
Are you heating in the middle of the second A? I 've noticed with the Ti tip, if your flower is quite dry it can really f@#k it up fast if you go on high temps. I try to stay close to the start of the second A. And that's the highest I go and only on the first cycle. Then it's straight in the middle of the cap and it gives me plenty of cycles (again I never count...damn it). I do not wiggle the flame and I hold it vertically to the cap.
The good thing about combusting with a hemp filter is that you get to trap a lot of the nastiness in the filter. Of course you still gotta get rid of it.

@mrb George and the guys are great to hang out with.

@Jill NYC If you can see the cap getting cherry red then you are running close to combustion. Single torches give hit spots if you don't move them around on the cap.
As much as it may sound wrong a triple torch can be a bit more forgiving.
Try a bit more distance from torch to cap, it'll take a bit longer to the click but heat application is a little less intense.

Hmmmm, choice of bohemian hipsters is rather narrow in it's representation of the brand, products and customers.

Here's my take. I bet that George @VapCap builds on the modularity, the diversity and the customizability of his products by representing the vast range of customers. Posting a revolving demographic slice on the site would be awesome. Right now the tattooed population is represented. Next might be campers, or the average Joe in his easy chair enjoying a puff, or park walkers, BBQ get togethers etc.etc.etc.

Wouldn't it be neat to have a different customer theme showcased on the Dynavap site every month or so?

I have in the past, but for some reason thought the heat was lower when it was closer to the digger. Is that wrong? I will definitely give that a shot tonight as well, with a single flame lighter.

There are two discs encased inside the top of the cap. If you shake the cap, you can hear them. The discs are made of a bimetal that buckles and make a clicking noise when heated.

If you heat the cap near the top, where the discs are located, they will heat up faster and click faster than if you heat near the bottom, closer to the digger outter end.

So heating the bottom of the cap results in a higher internal temp because you are heating farther away from the discs and heating for a longer period of time.

Heating closer to the top of the cap heats the discs sooner, resulting in lower temps.

Set your lighter flame to the lowest setting before sputtering and lick the cap with the flame while twirling the Vapcap so that an even area is heated around the circumference of the cap.

If your material is very dry it will combust sooner than well hydrated bud. If you have very dry bud, heat closer to the cap.

Once you find your mojo you'll be able to reliably respect the click.

I know a good many of you are daily drivers, the vapcap is such a great device, it really can function as a DD for a patient. I have been very happy with the M I purchased on 4/20. Some things I've learned, for my preferences, my triple flame torch applied at the mid section of the cap with the tip of the pale blue flame until the first light click goes, gives me the best roast. Flowers definitely were a better overall experience than dabs. I probably need to work on my method but the SS pad is leaving me with a lot to desire coming from nail dabs. I have never combusted with this thing though I've got it real close, the high you get is intense with the french roast! That's what got me using the torch from a further distance and not going to the 2nd click, plus not going to the tip. Cleaning is so simple and easy, it didn't really give me a warning before I got resin lips, so I think I was at around 7gr or so before I cleaned it the first time, then I started cleaning it at the end of the day. I'm also fairly certain I was getting just as medicated on a full cap of flower vs a full bowl in my crafty (more effecient?), it's possible I was hitting higher temps, but the ABV looked similar. Either way, it makes me wanna grab the vapcap instead of the crafty, it's just a shame the crafty is the more convenient blind vape. That's really my only grumble, but it's also the best part (candlelight vape?)

So, for me the vapcap is a vacation device, I use it when I cant use my desktop. It served me well, but now it's going in the drawer until my next vacation. I really enjoyed my time with it and never for a second wondered if I was going to get my meds. It's really the best device to recommend to anyone.

So i finally got me a better lighter for my vapcap,
it seems to be much stronger than my old single flame.

I now wonder this : should i allways wait for 2 clicks? or is it sometimes only 1 click?
maybe this lighter fires up too much and heats the thing so fast that the clicks almost comes in at the same time making it sound like just 1 click?

i combusted so bad for my first rip today, woke up way too early and needed a small rip to go back to sleep, but that combustion experience had me getting out of bed instead and trying to remove the faul smell / taste,
performing the finger roll/roasting action while tired/foggy is not amongst my favorite things to do xD

Know the feeling well :(
I'd say to turn the flame down as much as you can and twirl the tip well above the inner blue flame. I think you should still wait for the double click (although some caps seem to only click once, some change their habits over a lifetime, some sulk for a few months and then go back to "normal" - they're like teenagers sometimes ;)).

We call tattoos `10% tougher pictures` around here :D

I am not trying to make fun of tatoo'ed people, even though my own body is untouched like an empty canvas. Sorry if I came across in a disrespectful way towards our fellow members with images on their skin. It's just that I sincerely think that the bunch of Instagram hipster stereotype people (male and female) pictured on the Dynavap site have nothing (or not much) to do with the real group of buyers that the Vapcap has.

It's such a pity because the Vapcap, its creators (and its loving crowd) are everything but generic. Rant over. ;)

But noone shared pictures of each other in here, so in reallity we wouldnt know if the primary part of vapcap users indeed look like this :D

Jokes aside im just not a big fan of judging people by their apperance, it seems to me that its just another way to devide or seperate people

While some tattoos can be attractive, it seems that people who have sprawling tattoos tend to be a bit
anti-social.

They tend to put off people, like myself.

If the intent of a business is to stay aloft, or not become a niche business, it would make sense not to scare the cliental away.:2c:

Come on. There hasn't been any real judgment of anyone here. And that's not really the point. Collectively it's just a very stylised and narrow view of DV clientele. No one over the age of 35 either.

Maybe the young and hip hanging around in lofts and pop up food markets is the one market DV feel they are missing out on? (I'm not judging, I've lived in the heart East London for 15 years and could easily be labelled a hipster for all but the look of me)
But with all the photos being in such a similar vein it acts like branding, and I'm not sure it's the best way to go.

True, im just stating that me personally im not too hung up on this mentallity of judging people by their appearance and in that way deviding "people" into groups,
because your brain told you that people who has "this kind of tattoo" is most likely going to be like "this" dosent mean that is actually going to be the reality when you go over and talk with that person.

Just another traveller in the Cannaverse
My guess is that Dynavap is trying to broaden its reach. We were the first early adopters and on the bleeding edge of this product's development. It really didn't take marketing to get us to pull the trigger on DV it was word of mouth. But that only goes so far.

Cannabis in the 21st century will be a Lifestyle 'product', and I think it's important for the company's long-term health to get market share in the 20-30 something market which I think the images do well.

When I looked at the updated website my first thought was that DV had grown up a bit-they are a bigger, badder company than the one I learned about last fall. And we helped that happen. :2c::peace:

I think you mean you love the idiosyncrasies that English throws up as well as the differences in grammar, vocabulary and syntax as she is spoken worldwide , as do I.
But try
