No! I genuinely love John Candy. I dunno if he was a great actor or not, but his approach spoke to my heart from the very first time I watched him as a child, before I could speak, let alone understand, a word of English.

No! I genuinely love John Candy. I dunno if he was a great actor or not, but his approach spoke to my heart from the very first time I watched him as a child, before I could speak, let alone understand, a word of English.

This is actually an interesting idea, and George already has lots of customer generated photos, many great ones, from the photo contest. He could take his favorite 10 photos and rotate them as the background of his website in a contrast degraded way so they don't diminish the product images, and between them undegraded.
In truth I was never fond of advertising that seems more about the actors/models/users than the products themselves. I have nothing against beautiful people, but these are not clothing ads where fit is an issue. The only part of users I would show (in the ads I would create) are their hands.

Yikes! Now I feel bad - didn't realise he was dead, aged 43! He was very good in PT&A, that's for sure.

So I just saw on IG that the anodized Ti color is changing tonight from blue to gold, so if you have any blue anodized product in your cart you have to complete the sale before midnight CDT tonight or you will have missed it. Just a warning to all you open cart folks like myself...

I'm sure they will be back some time, but for now they will be gone...

Hey All.
I wanted to give you an update on my newbie journey into the Dynaverse... not that anyone was waiting to hear....
Quick summary of my problem, since this thread moves so fast: I mastered my M technique but was having major issues getting down the Titanium tip technique - I was regularly combusting often before the click even happened.

You guys (as always) have been such a huge help.
I was definitely holding my torch too close to the VC and too low on the tip. Now that I put some distance between the flame and cap and am concentrating the heat on the middle/upper part of the cap, I have been hearing the click and not combusting! Woo hoo!!

For other VC newbies who have both tips you should be aware that they are somewhat different beasts that need nuanced techniques. I am sure you have all mentioned that here a thousand times, but ya know... it sometimes takes me a thousand and one times to get it through my thick head!

Thanks again for all the great advice and patience!

Next challenge... trying out the hemp filter... to be continued....

Urgent please help. I combusted in both the Omni and the NonaVong today (I was very, very high) yand I threw everything straight into ISO Now I want to put it back together again (and get very, very high again), I don't know whether it's the 5 groovye or the 7 groove that goes with which. But whichever it is, I want to switch them around, just for the crack. So, if any of you can make any sense out of that, I'm all ears. In the meantime I'll be rinsing, drying and lubing ;)
OK, so I'm going to have to figure this out for myself. I think I have the much coveted 4G 7gfin that cane with the Omni, so that goes in the NonaVong
Pretty sure which cap is which, not switching them.
So did that, worked great. I think the stroke of genius was the Special Queen I put in the chamber :D

While it may matter which cap you fit to which tip as you may have customized them a little with squeezes, it really is only a preference as to which tip with which body. The good news is you can always readjust the caps as well if it becomes necessary.

If it does matter to you for some reason, the 7fin is older so whichever VC you got first likely came with the 7fin.

haha, sounds like a good time. Unless you are like me, whichever tip pairs with what stem shouldn't matter other than aesthetics for most people. In my case I like my omni capable of almost fully choking off air dilution so that means it can only be paired with the 7 fin. Mixing and matching is quite a lot of fun
