Is solo 2 vs IQC a fair comparison? Does IQC beat solo 2 in anything?
In stealthness. On the go the ICQ has a clear advantage. All the rest is up to each one. I consider Solo 2 in the top, especially when you factor practicality of cleaning but quite a mess on the go given the glass tube but there are alternatives in wood and others but is still way larger than the IQC.

Oh, so this sounds like the tension in the spring tab on the bottom of the battery chamber has lost strength. That is one way to go about it. If the issue persists, feel free to DM me so we can walk through other possible solutions.
Thank you for reply. May be that issue can be solved without cooper plate in battery's chamber? I can disassemble the device if you know what the reason of the problem.

I can also say about spacers. I don't have it and it's very sad because my friend has a vapor with spacers and I can say that the vapor with spacers is awesome than without.

He has only 3 minutes session but to exhaust herb he needs only two sessions (sometimes 1) on the other hand I need more than 3 sessions with 8 minutes per session. I know that chamber of iqc is bigger than friend's vapor but not so much.

He has metal spacers but I can't buy the same for me because of the country I live. I can buy only zirconium or glass spacers and I assume that metal spacers don't suite for iqc.

I bought the IQC about a week ago. I love it! The best vaped I've owned, and I've owned most of them, was my Davinci Ascent. I was very disappointed when they discontinued it! The IQ2 is just too expensive, couldn't justify that price. but when they offered the IQC for $199, I jumped on it. And I and glad I did.
first use, I'd packed it to lightly, I forgot it was a conduction vape. But the second use ohhhhh, I got some great clouds! Flavor is wonderful also. My lady and I have been using it everyday since.
battery life seems to be excellent, I however, have not run it till the battery died. I charge it after 6 sessions, which usually sees the battery around 70%. I despise the pax like mouth piece ( i despise the pax itself also... ) . I'd love to see a glass or zirconium mouth piece.
And it's a bit more portable than my Arizer Argo. But then I use an extended "aroma" tube with the Argo. Both are easily pocketed.

So the IQC has supplanted the Argo as my go to vape! I've no complaints with either, both are excellent vaporizers. I just love the DaVinci a little more!

Just vaped some Blue Dream with it. MMMMmmmmmmmmmmm!

Blue dream is OH SO GOOD. Thank you for sharing your experience!

Also did you mean you would like to see Zirc or Glass mouthpiece for the IQC? If so, the IQ2 Zirconia Glass set fits the IQC!

Hi everyone! If you could buy IQ2 or IQC for the same price which one would you choose and why?

At the same price, I'd buy the IQ2, but only because of the extras that come with it. The airflow control seems interesting but I don't see it as a must have feature. And I could care less about all the "app" nonsense, I have no need to feed obsession with vaping, I just need/want to medicate and or get high. The WPA is of value and maybe the spacers. I see nothing about the IQ2 that would justify spending $100 more.

Both the IQ2 and IQC are top of the line vaporizers for build quality, performance, personal customization, customer service and industry leading warranties.

Both will provide you with full temperature extraction options, either through programable Smart Paths or single degree user control. Both have clean material vapor paths that highlight the turpine flavors in all the different strains.

The IQC offers USB-C charging that is quicker than the IQ2’s which might be of an advantage if you don’t use a separate battery charger.

The IQ2 provides a zirconia mouth piece and 10mm wpa opposed to a silicone ones the IQC offers. Of course these parts are available as a separate purchase if desired. The IQ2 provides a host of other dosage options and monitoring software that is extensive in scope that the IQC doesn’t.

The IQ2 has a ten year warranty, the IQC a five year warranty. The IQ2 has a precision air flow adjustment wheel that will satisfy MTL sippers to when fully open DTL rippers.

I’m sure others will have their preference, but for me it’s all about the vapor quality, and Davinci delivers in spades with both units. Both are connoisseur quality vaporizers, and there is no wrong decision to be made here. Both will provide years of outstanding service and personal satisfaction.

One last comment. Davinci states that the IQ2 is still their flag ship model, and I concur.

Welcome to the Davinci family of quality vaping experience!

Obviously it would depend on the price, but taking that into account for the same price I'd get the IQ2 and one of the IQC's silicone 10mm mouthpiece (to be easier on my teefless gums). Everyone should externally charge (better for cells) anyway, so usb-C doesn't matter as much to me as adjustable airflow and the app (yeah, I'm a nerd)

After a couple of days back in my rotation, I'm very much still living the iqc.

It's a sipper not a ripper and I love that compared to my legacy pro etc.

Different horses for different courses, or something like that.
Perfect quote "It's a sipper, not a ripper"

Love this feedback, and we totally agree about the external charging!

I just ordered the IQ2 for 180 euros 🙂
...and I will not post in this thread anymore since it is a IQC thread.
Looking forward to your posts on the IQ2 thread!

I find the IQC to be both a sipper and a ripper. It's all in the pack. You can get some good rips with a fairly tight pack.

And here's something I don't understand. It makes no sense. I own quite a few vapes, both conduction and convection, and I get stoned really easily with the IQC. I took 4 hits of Granddaddy Purps and Whoa!

I can see how you might assume the IQC takes advantage of the higher current available, but such is not the case. Mine uses 580mA to charge. Far less than even a standard USB port which is what I assume the IQ2 uses (I don't have one of those).

I too use an external charger which is basically twice (even four times) as fast typically. IMO there are other reasons to go to the -C like the plug going in either way, but in this case faster charging doesn't seem to be one of them.

Understood. Kind of stuff the 'suits' (Marketing types) would write? Both statements are demonstratively true? In either case you can recharge in an hour or two (if you don't discharge too far.....), and it can take a long time if you do run a large battery flat. I wouldn't be surprised that the other unit charges at about the same modest rate as mine.

I get the idea that potential power is unimportant, I'm responding to the 'IQC charges faster' idea.......frankly while I don't have one I strongly suspect the IQ2 is no slower. It is, after all 'the flagship"? The fact is my IQC charges at a very slow rate, not limited by USB port type. No matter what you might read elsewhere?

I’m sure everyone is using an inexpensive USB current tester…. Best feature is finding which “cables” you may have in a pile, that can actually DELIVER a 2 amp charge, from a known 2.1 amp USB charger, like an iPad Mini wall charger. Mark this cable, assuming you have one after testing, mark “2amp”. Of course you need a device that “asks for” a 2 amp charge. There are not many current portable devices I know of.

So, using TESTED cable and charger, my IQ2 maximum charge rate is 1 amp, I don’t have IQC to test. Just had a ROFFU delivered, it has USB-C charging, but like most other portables, it can only charge at 1 amp. Fast charging if supported on device would be at least 1.5-2.0 amps, still a safe charge rate on a quality external charger, but many portables don’t cool very well when on board charging, some get hot enough to begin degrading the battery, or worse.

Thanks for confirming that. So IQ2 charges at about twice the rate of the IQC. Makes sense that the 'flagship' model would outperform the budget version, or at least tie it.

Another data point is the F2 and it's larger brother, Edge (which has the upgraded -C charging). There the Edge charges faster, F2 at about 800mA, Edge at 1400. And, as you suggest heat may be limiting it?

I have a question and the reason i stopped using the IQ2, have you fixed the fact that if you use it thorough the WPA it gets too hot to even hold?
made me wonder about the carcinogens being created, i don't trust that much heat transferance. I've never come across this with any other vape.

Although the heat is not good for the overall life of the vape, there is nothing in the isolated vapor path that is affected by heat. And my experience with portables used with a bong says they all get hot . The one I have that heats up the least is the Solo 2. My Tera, CFX, CFX+, and my Argo all get pretty hot when used with a bong.
