So I eventually managed to get the batteries changed in my Mighty, the improved heat up times with the VTC6 are something else.
Also fairly convinced I'm getting better overall performance even potentially vs when the device was new (Was almost 3 years ago though!).
Unfortunately, despite reading about them in the main Mighty thread I managed to damage both of the clips for the casing at the top by the bowl. So for the moment my Mighty is held together at the top with a strategically placed zip tie
I'm going to look at fixing this in the future along with a piece which has broken off around the bowl area, but I'm yet to read about anyone successfully gluing their Mighty/Crafty so a bit reluctant to fiddling in such a high stress area on the casing.
For anyone thinking of doing this I wouldn't underestimate how precise S&B are when they're putting these things together! It was certainly a lot harder making sure wires weren't in the way when closing the case, than it was soldering the tabs
