I think you are using 19 mm flat, then doming them.
I think you are using 19 mm flat, then doming them.
I posted this back in July...
After seeing your post I thought I would give it another try and my opinion has changed, I think my problem the first time was I kept the original screen and added the dome screen, this time I just used the dome and the results were just as good as the pacman screen but with the bonus of the screen being fixed making loading/unloading easier, so I think using two screens when I first tried it gave worse results, it's still a little fiddly to fit the screen but I guess the normal screen isn't all that easy either.
I used to get overheating messages from the app, and sometimes the Crafty would shut down until it cooled a bit. (light would blink as if battery was depleted, but it could power on again after a few minutes. Had 3 Craftys. Now, Mighty shows none of that behavior (at 2-1/2 months of all day use).Ive been playing alot of online poker and someone just recognized my picture which was the crafty lol.
Just a few updates, just got my crafty about a month ago clocking about 46 hours and it hasnt shown any slower heat up time. But ive been using much of my battery staying on higher temps for too long, vaping the oil i collect from my CU. Hopefully that doesnt degrade the life of my Crafty. Anybody else staying too long at boost?

0. Is 50mg of DMT placed on the Liquid Pad for someone comfortable with the experience a good starting point? Is that all you do, place DMT on the Liquid Pad and turn the Crafty on?
1. What sub $50 milligram scale do you recommend to measure DMT?
2. Until a milligram scale can be secured, perhaps empty-capsules sold at vitamin stores can be used instead seeing as NO STORE in town carries milligram scales accurate below 0.1g which is 100mg (way too much). Which empty capsule size could be used to measure DMT?
3. What temperature should the Crafty be set on for DMT, 150°C, 180°C?
Not a cleaning tip, but I have a RYOT case for my Crafty. It's smell proof...Would you please post the best way to clean the Crafty after DMT use, knowing that the odor may still last no matter how it's cleaned, still, what is the best way to clean it after DMT use?

Does it smell so bad after DMT?
Whenever you use dmt out of anything. The piece usually keeps sone of that molecule smell. It woukd be better to use it out of a vape you done use much, or just to dab it on a nail or a little pen.Does it smell so bad after DMT?
Try using a warm water bath with the ISO soak. It makes a noticeable difference with cleaning. I just leave my jar in the water bath.
Personally I just take my CU (cooling unit/top piece) apart and soak it in 99.8% ISO for 30-45 mins then rinse with warm water, and from time to time a little magic eraser on the bowl when dirty.
This is after use with herb but I guess cleaning after DMT would be the same process, but as I've never used it I'm just guessing here.
Thank you for that excellent video link.
He says the top screen pretty much has to be replaced instead of cleaned because once you take it out it bends, irreparably. So it was a good idea to order those extra screens from the manufacturer but who else sells these minor parts affordably? And how often are they really to be replaced for DMT-only use?
What percentage rubbing alcohol should be used, if it matters?
DMT will be using the liquid pad every time, he recommends simply soaking the liquid pad in rubbing alcohol, how often should this be soaked for DMT use, and how often replaced for DMT-use only? Since DMT will make use of it every time... would you soak te liquid pads in rubbing alcohol after each use? For an hour, two?
Looking for educated guesses to these DMT-related questions, I know most discussion is centered on uses for 'other'.
Did not order the O rings, how can you tell *when* those need to be replaced? I mean this all heavily depends on frequency of device use, so it's really the number of uses, vs. time, isn't it?
Where does the time go?
That's the highest number I have ever seen. You are the Crafty King!
