All i can say is..Or is this a great time to buy a Crafty?
Have you considered a Mighty? Yes, more $, but I am much happier having "upgraded" when Crafty #3 failed.Hi all,
First time poster. I'm very close to buying a Crafty, with two caveats. The battery issues are somewhat alarming. A $340 vaporizer should not have any problems like that. What the fuck? Has this gotten any better yet, or can I expect to need a replacement every 3 months?
And second, I'm wary of buying one only to find that a newer model or a price drop is coming soon. Has anyone heard about either of those? Or is this a great time to buy a Crafty?
Thanks.

There are certainly lots of happy Crafty vapers, to be sure. I do believe that if you will use it, say, multiple times per day, the Mighty is more robust and better suited to that kind of use.
Both work great!
Many here say that Puffitup is a good shop to purchase from, ask Randy what the best he can do is... (just repeating what I've seen here)
Bickel & Storz have changed their policies and now have an 80 hour limit for the battery where the customer has to pay to have it replaced if it fails past this point.Hi all,

The Crafty has about a 40 minute run time between charges so you will get about 4 sessions per charge. It does have a one minute auto shut off, which means if you do not take a hit within one minute, it will shut off. I find this feature useful as if you forget, your meds aren't getting wasted.Hey guys,
I'm contemplating cancelling my Grasshopper order and getting a Crafty instead but have a couple of Q's:
Is the battery life really only around 45 mins?
Does it seriously have an auto-shut off time of 1 min?
Thanks
No. There's no water involved with a factory Crafty. it's basicly air-cooled. Some people run it through water.Am I right in thinking that the main attraction of the crafty is the built in water cooler?
Could this not easily be replicated with any vape by just buying a simple bubbler?

Buy it from Puffitup with the FC discount. Puffitup are better to deal with than Bickel and Storz when it comes to warranty replacement issues.I want to buy the crafty
I need to know if should look out for any specfic firmware or revisions of this
Also I'm buying it from a local had shop
Is this bad? Should i buy it from the company instead?
Is there a Puffitup equivalent in the UK?
Just curious, but why? Does Randy ship you out a brand new unit or something and do the warranty work for you so you don't have to send direct to s&b?
Damn, have had my Crafty for a while now, and have only TWO hours on it! Which is perfect, because it means that i'm using it for its intended purpose....portability! Just haven't had much need for on the go, usually don't in the winter. Still wanted to make sure it worked ok, and I haven't had a single issue with it so far (no overheating, BT issues, etc. like my OG Crafty).
My biggest issue is battery management..... since I don't use the Crafty often, it's not really healthy to keep it stored ready for use at a full battery, but catch 22 when I need the thing I don't want it only 40% full. Ah well, vapeworldproblems!
Dude, PIU is ONE OF A KIND! Some try to imitate, but can never duplicate! With that being said, maybe try Vapefiend?
If you actually receive the Crafty then that is the best deal I have heard of. I never heard of Owl Vapes.
