Hi Vapers! Is here anybody who has got the Haze and the Crafty and could give me a short comparison between these 2!? I could buy the Haze for 200 €uro. Is it worth the price?

I paid something like £160-170 and I'm happy with mine,

I have to say every time i use my Haze I'm still amazed at how cool the vapour is considering how short and direct the air path is Some good design going on there.

And i cant compare the mighty, but the crafty is capable of being much less smooth than the haze, and the haze wins in so many areas compared to my crafty (although i still love it due to how much vapour it can produce in such a short space of time)

The haze is easier to clean, has changeable batteries (which you get two of,and a charger) it has two bowls, the tweezers oh the tweezers you will find out just how useful they are.
And with the screens/cans you can use anything in there with ease, for smoothness (with flowers) IMO convection screens would be best then cans then conduction screens although this is something you can experiment with to find your preference.

So IMO if your looking for smoothness the Haze was the right choice

I posted this in the haze thread to answer a question about smoothness, now don't get me wrong the crafty is great but for me because of the fixed battery its not something i want to use all the time, for me its my heavy hitter that i can walk around the house with (no cord, no whip), but thats more to do with my tolerance and amount i get through because i vape all waking hours by the time the end of the day comes i need something that can deliver a good punch, thats where the crafty comes in (now it can be used other ways but thats how i use it mostly)

The haze is what i use most when out and about for a few reasons, one is the cans can be pre-loaded and swapped easily just open the side take empty one out and put in new full can takes seconds Unlike the crafty, which while not hard to do is a lot more obvious and as I'm in the UK thats important, also as I'm in the UK the two bowls is great as i can put e-liquid in one and the good stuff in the other then at the flip of a switch "no officer this is my e-cig lol smell the lovely milk and honey smell"

Not to mention the 10...yes i said 10 year warranty! And the upgrade program ($99 gets you free upgrades for life Send your old haze to them which goes to a very good cause and they send you the latest model...just wow how many other companies offer this?

And they sell XL batteries that work great! and they do add a nice extra amount of usage, and with a nice WonG and the conduction screens it will milk most glass as good as the crafty but you loose some of the flavour due to more conduction but its not a bad flavour your left with.

The only bad things i can say about it are it only has four temp settings (but they are very well chosen) and the mouthpiece that drops inside the unit can get stuck due to resin but comes loose when warm, and i just wipe mine after each use while warm, problem solved.

I know you said short but i struggle with that sometimes, ADD and OCD can be a pain at times Basically i start doing something giving it 100% focus...then see something shiny and I'm gone

I guess i could have just said that the crafty wins (by a little bit) on taste and amount it can deliver quickly, but the haze IMO beats it in most other areas.

I best stop now incase any mods come this way, i will go > this way so send them < that way

Hey guys. Just wanted to say that my repaired Crafty should be here tomorrow according to tracking.

I just wanted to give SnB's customer service a giant thumbs up!

So I sent my unit back because the brackets that hold the CU on had broken off, or cracked. ( 2 separate places. ) since my unit was at about 110 hours and I had started to notice a very slight reduction in performance from the battery, I decided to pay to have the battery replaced while it was already there. ( rather than loosing it for a whole week again in a month or two. ) So about four days goes by ( weekend ) and I see a email that says my unit is shipped out and on its way to me...

I'm seriously like wtf? They never contacted me about payment info for the extra service ( like the instructions say in a couple different places. ) and I'm kind of pissed but really bummed, cuz now I'm thinking I'm going to be without the Crafty for another week soon.

I call them and like every other time I've called tech support, got nothing but a answering machine. So I recall and choose the "0" option so I can talk to a real person. I explain my concern and she tells me to hold 1 sec while she looks up my account.

She comes back onto the phone and cheerfully reports that my battery was not swapped because they decided to send me a brand new, non-refurbished unit.

I've often heard about their quality customer service ( and I know some have not experienced this. ) but for me, I have to give giant thumbs up,, to SnB!

There isn't a best charger. Get simply one with 2A output and you should be fine. I bought a 7200mah portable battery for my crafty. After a few more weeks I just bought a mighty because charging time is too long with 2h

I don't use one myself but know others use (i think its something like) rav power, I'm sure one of the auction sites will have many mAh options, IMO i would suggest around 3000mAh per full charge so you just have to balance how big a power bank you want to carry vs how many charges you will need it to handle.

I have the SnB sold charger like in the video, as well. I admit it is the first device of its kind I have owned so I don't really have anything to compare it to, but I am happy with the performance it gives me.

just had a scare with my crafty!

I was emptying out a spent load and used the brush to clean the bottom screen as I always do after each bowl. only this time, without noticing my brush strokes elevated the screen from its position and sent it flying to the other side of the table. It was only after I loaded my crafty with flowers, and turned it on, did I see the screen on the table.

who knows what kind of mess or damage to the heater that could of caused. Crafty carefully, my friends!


in short: be careful not to remove the screen accidentally when brushing it.

I just dug this out of my car's console, I charged it up right after I bought it over two years ago and never used it. I am encouraged by the fact that it still has a full charge(!), the flashlight is cool too. It will be part of my crafty travel pack from now on! It gets good reviews on amazon even if it's not for sale anymore.

edit: a bit confusing; the description says just 1 amp, and that's okay. I've used the crafty with other 1 amp chargers and it charges fine, maybe a little slower. But what confuses me is that this review says that it will charge an ipad, which ime needs 2 amps and will reject less. So it's a 1 amp "plus" charger.

I believe it's $50. I don't like that price or the fact that you have to send the unit in. I'm glad I got lucky in this area. But the truth is, I love the Crafty so much, that I am still willing to pay it rather than go with another current brand. I've tried many others and there is something I dislike about them all. I'd rather have my dislikes be associated with non-session issues if you know what I mean. I love the way the Crafty vapes. So smooth and effortless. My cheeks don't end up touching cuz I'm sucking so hard I'm about to implode.

Yeah its still early here but unless I'm missing something the difference is due to one being °c and one in °f Your start and end temps are the same Although because 159°c is 318°f not 287 i can see the confusion Temp conversion was never my strong point.

I actually tried your method once in the 9th grade. lol. True story. Test day came and I didn't know the conversion formula, so I figured just count the degree diff and I'd be good. ( I should have known. Why would I need to memorize a formula if it was as easy as counting the difference. lol. )

Not so fast my friend, said Mr Burkholz, my biology teacher. ( ok not literally ) as he handed me my academic ass in my hat with a smirk.

1 degree of C is not equal to 1 degree F.

You can measure rain in inches or centimeters. In the end, it's still the same amount of rain, whether it's 2 inches or 5.08 cm. ( Thank you convertbot app. lol. )

If you set up the temp via bluetooth crafty will memorize your settings, you can use it without a phone.

Turning on with phone is no possible.

And battery replacement ? In the future you´ll have to do it but not so soon as you might think, it depends on how heavy user you are etc.

I did a test with my mighty to answer my question around °C and °F and if it saves battery. I understand how you need to convert and all of that but I was being very literal. To get from the number 26 to the number 185 as opposed to getting from 78 to 365. Your unit will not skip numbers whether climbing in °C or •F. So if I climb temps slower in °C but going through less numbers is that more or less draining on the battery than climbing more numbers in °F but at a faster rate. Im thinking although very small...extremely small....there must be a difference in how much power is consumed. It takes power to do anything. Displaying a number on a screen uses power. Changing what you see on a screen takes power. So if Im changing what I see in my screen 10 times or 40. There has to be a different level of consumption.

Im not on a world quest to to save power with my vape. Lol. I know its not a significant power difference but I was VAPED and thought about it and thought it was interesting so I posted!
