Sons crafty is dead, battery issue. Around 60 hours. Mine no longer connects up to the app at around 40 hours.

Tried hard resets on both devices with no luck. Sad part is mine that still works is back to stock temps.

Going to send them back for repair once we finish this move.

Yours should connect, the app got confused between the two units; just delete and re-install it.

Just lost BT connection last night, and it hasn't come back, despite hard resets. I feel like it's my fault for charging it right after a use, before it had cooled down..

I should disclose that I have a iPhone 4, which the Crafty app doesn't work with. I've been using the wonderful Vapelog app for computers, created by someone on this site (I forget who, but thank you!) That's where I lost my BT connection, and it's the only way I can check battery or change temps....

Vaporcussion,

SmorezNTickles

It's real.
So what's the lowest price you guys have seen on a legit crafty? Grasscity had a 30% off sale but they sold out...

The Crafty can only be connected to a single device. If something else is holding on to it VapeLog won't be able to find it. Did you connect it to another phone? If so turn the bluetooth off and on to release the Crafty and see if VapeLog can connect. If all else fails resetting the Crafty should make it forget anything it was connected to.

I would also recommend finding a compatible Android or iOS device to test on before sending it in.

Damn fellas, after 47 hours my Crafty has given up the ghost. I got yellow LEDs flashing inside this thing.
I didn't even know there were yellow LED's in the Crafty.

Got this little message afterwards.

Realistically, what am I in for? I have heard checkered things about their customer service over there in the Bay area.

I'm lookin for some real advice (turnaround times) response times on my emails? how bad is the customer service really?

Has anybody successfully had their problems resolved and are holding a new Crafty?

First off don't send an email. Follow the instructions on their website to send it in for service with a nice letter. You keep everything, just send in the base unit, in the original box with your proof of purchase and the letter. When it gets to them they usually send out a new one the next day. End to end time for you will depend on your distance from Oakland for delivery.

If you dont send the email you pay for shipping. Send the email explaining what happened and they send you a usps 2 day priority mail attachment with tracking via email. When they get the package your info and description of the problem is already in the system. Response from them through email has been same or next day ime but its the same cut and paste email they send everyone. Once they do receive the unit turn around is very quick same or next day shipping back to you

S&B have never offered to pay for my postage costs after I have emailed them.

I actually just called s&b and talked with a lady and she offered me the 2 day priority mail. I don't know if it would have been the same if I had sent an email. But who knows..

OMG I LOVE MY CRAFTY! I can't wait for the Mighty! It's taken over my LSV as my daily driver. With @Ratchett's WPA this thing works like a little portable Herbalizer!

I don't need to stir/tamp, the ABV is always flawless, taste is incredible, milk city, I don't know what else to say. My only wish would be that the Crafty (or Mighty) had a TRUE battery bypass (or the ability to buy an adapter that provided this), as well as removable batteries.

I think the Crafty performs better than any desktop unit i've ever owned! Rather the Crafty than the EVO and Herbie even!

Goodbye Arizer....it's been one heck of a ride.....but hello Storz & Bickel..... you have changed my life!

27 hours and counting!

I love how you love your Crafty! I have got 107 hours on my unit and I like it a little bit more every hour!

Just to inform everyone.
Will soon appear the crafty with removable batteries ...
Do not ask
I can say no more
let's wait
Removable batteries and a little bit more durability of the plastic parts would be the destroyer of every other portable vaporizer in my opinion!

The free shipping seem's to be hit or miss. The customer care can and has issued me free return shipping. I also have paid for shipping back.

The first one I sent back I payed for shipping. When new unit arrived they included a shipping label to send back first unit. Since I had to send unit back before I got label laughed it off.

2nd unit died less than a month later, Since I happened to keep label I used that free shipping to send that unit in. Along with a note and email explaining that this 2nd crafty that went bad. Got a follow up phone call and replacement unit along with 2 free gifts.

3rd unit lasted another month before breaking. Since they where so kind as to send out the gifts the last time I emailed them what happened. They where again kind enough to issue me another free shipping label.

4th unit was my only reconditioned unit and only last around 30 hours before needing repair. I was a little over it and just boxed it up payed for shipping back with note explaining what happened and requested a new unit this time.

5th unit issued was new and is my current one. Overall averaged around 9 days from day I sent in broken unit till had another unit in hand. I feel that's price you pay to be and early adopter and daily medically user. Plus I have plenty of extra cooling units etc.

So guess my advice is to do what feels right. Me well I figure if I use it heavy and it dies again with over 75 hours I will pay to ship it back since I used it a lot. If it dies tomorrow at 18 hours then I would ask for free shipping.
