I've heard larger pieces are not great for running vapes through, is this true? What would be a taller alternative to my current D020-D. I would like something that would be level with my mouth at my desk instead of me having to hunch down since the D020-D is so short.

Well, there is really not as much need for the larger pieces to get the desired effect. And the more glass, the more places for vapor to condense. That being said, I really don't like the really small pieces that much, at least for flower. They may be better suited to concentrates...

Right now the FC-UFO and the D022 are my favorite pieces, and I have both larger and smaller.

I have 7 days left to figure out how to use a $15 off $100 coupon. Uggggh decisions decisions. The FC-707 or FC-1000 at around $69 looks like a fun piece. I like Steven's stuff and have had good luck with it. Which mouthpiece is the best for viewing vapor?

I need to figure out what to buy if I do this. Decisions decisions. I wish there was an egg that people universally liked.

Was looking at both the fc-186 and the fc-1000 and was wondering if there is enough clearance to get an UD on to the stem. It's a small Vape but don't want to get a big piece like fc1000 and go to use it and see that I will need some adapter or claisen just to use it with my UD

I have the FC-710 which is a smaller version of the 1000 basically just a different perc and all my dogs fit nice. Tho the 710 is smaller like I said so some of my bigger dogs make it top heavy. But I doubt that problem is present with the 1000.

I've been debating the 1000 myself but I prefer the showerhead of the 710 over the matrix of the 1000.

My Dogs love my UFO anyway.

I only vape from a Herbalizer or EVO so I wonder if the FC-1000 has the right amount of restriction for these vapes so that you can see some water action. I have 7 days of watching this thread to find a >$32 other piece to make my $100.

I have had my Cnm fab egg for a few days now. I use it and my FC-710 daily. Its a great little egg. My other pieces are collecting dust lol.

I have some quality issues with mine. The base is not level and rocks. When pushing down on one side, I just fit a credit card in the space. Its not that bad but its annoys me. I also have a couple small chips of glass welded on the bottom half inside of the egg. There is also a bit of glass dust that has welded its self to the bottom half as well. PBW several times and its all still stuck. Other then that the quality is pretty good. It still functions great. I messaged them to see if they could do anything about it and no reply yet.

Edit: I got a reply from cnm and they said their products are hand bolwn and this will happen. They might give me a discount on another purchase. I'm glad I purchased when it was 30% off so I'm still happy.

It all comes down to personal preference. I like medium sized pieces, too big and it takes a good bit of lungs to clear. Big is good for big desktop units that can keep up, but can get tedious as a daily driver, always fun to have in the rotation. The new matrix pillar looks enticing.

What would be a taller alternative to my current D020-D.

The GB-187 is exactly the D-020-D but taller, I rarely use my D-020-D because of how short it is. And then there is the cheaper, taller but skinnier SL15033.

Steven has a mini rig with the same kind of perc - I have it and really like it.

I haven't seen that rig specifically on dhgate, but I wouldn't be surprised if steven could replicate it if you cant find the original source.

Be careful what size bong you buy if you intend to use with vapes. I've got a Weedstar Big Bang which is about 30cm tall, and while its great for combustion, its horrible to use with vapes.....feels like you are sucking a golf ball through a straw.

Definitely stick with smaller bongs for vapes, I learned the expensive way.

strongly disagree. I've paired my Solo (and keep in mind it's one of the more restrictive vapes) with larger bongs and successfully. For instance with a black leaf double honeycomb perc bong, about 12" as well. Not as easy a pull as say the D020-D of course, but way bigger, lung busting hits. Honeycomb percs are apparently one of the most draggy too, and this is two of them.

New DHGate glass such as the FC-1000/FC-707 from steven are examples of larger bongs which several members on here say are great to vape through as well... again, even with the Solo.

About a week ago I received 3/4 of my DHgate order from Steven. I got a FC-Cake, a FC-Torus, and a replica Starbucks bubbler (III generation Head hammer perc), still waiting for my FC-UFO to ship.

I have not gotten to use the starbucks cup because it has a 14mm male joint on the top, which I don't have an adapter for. It was a gift for my girlfriend so I'm not in a huge rush to test it, but will eventually have to order an adapter so we can give it a shot.

The FC-Cake I am really loving. With its neck offset to the side I am better able to see when I milk the bubbler and it works great.

The FC-Torus makes a cool vortex, but I'm don't like how difficult it is for me to see how much vapor I'm producing. I also have troubles seeing the vortex because I can't see it while using the bubbler. It has alot more resistance and is definitely very chuggy, so I'm not sure that it'll beat my D020 or the Cake.

I'm also starting to get a little antsy for the FC-UFO. I ordered it on the 4th and it still hasn't shipped. Steven said he would tell me when its ready and ships, but it really seems like it there should be some progress by now.

Has anyone else ordered a UFO since the 4th? I'm curious to see if others are in the same limbo I'm in.

I am waiting on a shipping notice on the UFO as well. I hadn't ordered DHgate glass in a while and found a certain SOMEONE possibly still gives out fake tracking numbers? I hope not. Damn these people being so safe from me in China.
