Personally I recommend an Auber Unit or making one yourself. Spending over $150 for a PID SSR a few switches, wiring, box and a coil is not worth the overstated prices. More bells and whistles than providing you with greater function. The only concern with a DIY is a no auto-shutoff

At whoever is "stoneclearglass" on instagram shame on you, I know your reading this. Literally couldnt even take your own pictures. Maybe thats from dabbing off that china ceramic. Lmao
Just left some nice comments on that sellers IG.

Literally pathetic they are using Stevens pics and videos. They filmed their computer screen of Stevens water test then posted it on their IG like it is their video

I bet they delete my posts off their IG. I don't care if someone sells China glass, but when they use someone else's pictures and videos and dont inform the buyer its China glass, that's just wrong and where I get pissed :goon: so unethical.

EDIT: hahahaha @ChiefKeefe they either just blocked me or just deleted all of thier photos and videos as soon as I posted the comments on their IG.

Can I tell you guys the story of some american glass...?
It's that minitube i mentioned before...
There are cracks all around the joint. It was like that when i brought it home from the shop. The cracks spiderweb and wander, so they're legitimate cracks, not just funky scratches. I can't get a picture of them. They're too fine, I need a flashlight to get it to be noticeable in pictures. It's a 2 person job, i'll try eventually.
Does anybody here have any experience with fine cracks like i described in your glass? Do they spread quick? I'm asking because I wonder how long the tube will last...

So the story begins about a week ago... I was tired of my china glass, so I bought a minitube for $89. When I got home, I noticed it had a crack on the weld by the joint. I called that night, and they apologized right away and said return it for another tomorrow. So the next day I went to get it exchanged for another tube at $145, thinking by upping my quality i would never have this issue again. I paid the difference and ran out the door with a nice worked little minitube. I felt i got it for a steal.
I got home, and as I was looking it over carefully I noticed this tube has worse cracks than the first. They're finer cracks, but they spiderweb and surround about 3/4 of the joint. I emailed the shop with my phone number, they called the next day saying they would see what they could do, but there were no apologies this time. I hadn't even used it yet, so I don't know why they wouldn't just say bring it back again. I gave them my number in the email hoping I'd get a call saying just come on down and we'll figure something out, It never happened.
I was done. Since I had already spent $60 in gas getting there, I said fuck it and kept the cracked tube. I didn't wanna make that $90 just in gas. They obviously weren't going to help me this time. then to top it all off, the brand new quartz nail I got cracked on the first heat-up. I couldn't help but laugh. And also, when I got home I noticed the minitube was lighter in weight than every other piece of glass I own, yet taller, meaning it was thinner glass...
I sent them another email with my experience at the shop, and that i would take an un-cracked tube to keep my mouth shut any day.
I never got a return email I guess it's fair game...

Fuck Primal of Wilkesbarre PA. Every tube they have is cracked apparently, they don't have a care in the world for their glass or their customers. On my first visit I was kept from looking around by an employee pushing for a sale. On the second I witnessed an employee, who i found out later was that stores manager, throw a flux nail into a piece so hard it made a noise I still hear ringing in my head. I'm not surprised their glass is all cracked. Then one employee just wandered around aimlessly on both visits. She knew nothing about glass too. She couldn't even pick a 14 mm quartz nail from the bins beneath the counter. She had to ask for help. Then the person she asked for help was almost just as bad.
I have nothing good to tell you guys about my visits to Primal. They have some nice glass to look at, but know it's all cracked, you can only look. It's a waste to buy anything. You'll get pushed into a sale. You will not have knowledgeable employees. And if you happen to buy something it's gonna be cracked, or at least it'll crack soon.

So, does anyone think this tube will last more than a month? Will I atleast get my money worth?
***And i'm posting this here because its great proof that american glass is overpriced for the quality or service. Steven would have just sent me another both times. Headshops suck. Fuck em' all.

Pretty sure they deleted them as I searched 5 minutes ago and they had only 3 posts. I don't really see it as unethical unless they're claiming that the pieces are American.

Lol he deleted his posts and changed his bio.. Hes watching this thread. I dont care if you sell it, but you better buy it and wait till you have it. Take pics and vids. Then sell it.
I see this all so much...
I don't know what their thinking, and I never know whether to point it out or not. People are so dumb they'll buy it though. I've seen a couple d-cyclers and eggs sell where they obviously went for too much... the post saying "Sold!!!" is always right after...
Should we post if it's china glass every time we see it for sale?

i call out china glass i buy both american made glass and china made glass but if its know its china glass do not sell it as american . Nothing bothers me more when people take photos in a headshop mark up the already marked up price and try to sell it as if they owned it

Ive been selling on instagram and informing people that the eggs are from china since almost all sellers do not list as made in china. One person bought 2 amber eggs from a seller who claimed it was german amber slime or some bs then got very defensive and blocked me. To be fair he did pay 100 an egg which is around what ive been asking so but just funny story lol
