They appear to be more just on the top, not as deep a slit going down the side. That may be why they changed the name. Like SS said it really isn't a showerhead which should be holes... (I think).

No, it is still not a shower head, in fact if anything then now it'd be even less of a shower head, doesn't matter if it has slits or holes or whatever, but they should be facing down, facing up would be fountain head? Reverse shower head is something else so yeah that's what I have been calling them, functionally similar though not quite??

Right, it should be pointed down. Sadly there is no authority to go to for perc names. If you google search them you will get a lot of variations in what a particular design is called and how a particular name is manifest in glass. Some are obvious and easy and some are complex and variable. Some names describe them well and some do not. I like to use photos so I am not misunderstood...

Haha I know right, we've been at it a few times in here, the more I have looked at more stuff, I think I have a good sense, but there are so many exceptions because it is all up to a person's individual labeling

Re: the v2 of that TAG piece that's opened for pre order it says on the product page...
I wanted to pre order one but shipping is 50...

Oh haha that would explain why it looks a bit different and the perspectives were odd to me!

That sucks though, because of your location? Yeah I think ordering TAG stuff outside of the US doesn't really make sense unfortunately... The tough thing is, it's hard to find a 18 mm modular piece this good anywhere else!

I just watched that function video again and noticed the cleisen adapter wobbles quite a bit in the bong joint...one of them is not ground very well. :2c:

That's actually a pass-through injector bowl, not just a simple adapter? I think it is the one from vgoodiez?? Anyway there's no way to know if the wobble is from that or the female of the piece, and there's also no way to know if it's just that individual piece, or all of them... In my collection there are many pieces that have wobbly joints, but it depends what's connecting to them, there is so much variance in glass, especially ground glass, that I wouldn't worry about it or expect all orders to be that way necessarily... I guess we'll see when mine arrives though

Yeah it makes sense though as intercontinental shipping costs are just high these days. It is indeed a still worth it all things considered, for the simple reason there's no similar piece available in EU and. Also the TAG one is currently perhaps the best of its kind that's available without having customized shit done. Which is nice, a customized piece. But the 150$ TAG + 50$ shipping will be very affordable in comparison. All this is a long way of telling that I put in the pre-order  (edit: unless my card keeps gettingrejected sigh -- edit2: it got through!)

You are correct, it is a pass thru injector bowl (or a cleisen with a glass filter), please let me know if the bongs joint is good when you get it as I only have one such wobbly joint in all my bongs (and Yinmin5 apologized and gave me a partial credit for it)...I must be lucky in that respect.

cool, how do you like the function on that? I super appreciate you posting it - I'd been eyeing it but was holding out for a 2nd quality, since the first time I saw it I saw a 2nd and didn't pull the trigger before someone else did, and was kikcing myself bc it's one that's so deeply discounted (some TAG 2Qs are only like 10-15% off; this one's closer to 50). I'd checked back a few times but eventually forgot about it, til I saw your post, so I checked, and a 2Q was there! I grabbed it, $65 shipped and I'm usually v happy w TAG 2nds. Just got their mini recycler in the mail today, actually, to use w my TM2, since it was cheaper than the official TM2 bubbler, and it's so nice, as is this one that I first ordered as a 2Q, til I saw the ones w colored accents and was super impressed. Gotta give TAG props for that, I wasn't sure they'd accept a return of a 2Q.
https://ibb.co/848p0qV (i've tried to post that as a pic using difft hosts, to no avail. bear w me plz folks as I learn the forum's kinks)

Oh, anybody know what it means on the hammer head product page, re "concave top for quick access"? Quick access to what?

I love it. It's got a good chug, cools and adds moisture without knocking back the flavors too much. Its very direct feel and sense of control works great with torch vapes. I like it with my Vongs too. That's a fantastic deal you got, I hope the function's unaffected! Sweet recycler, too!

I’ve read the design is some might keep there fresh dab material in that spot, I don’t….
Same.

Do you all think this would be a decent rig?

Someone on Reddit posted a function video:
https://www.reddit.com/r/chinaglass/comments/xosfj2
But yeah it's up to you if you want a tiny rig like this! Seems like a cheap way to try an RBR... I hardly ever use my tiny RBR but it is a nicer one, depends on the vapes

Thanks for posting that. I haven't seen that. Funny it was just posted yesterday. It looks like it functions decently. I recently have become kinda obsessed with mini rigs

Can you tell me if the 10mm input on your mini recycler is pointed slightly towards the stem/top chamber?

Will an ash catcher with a recycler help keep water out of the stem or is this more of a gimmick on these small pieces?

What do you mean keep water out of the stem? I think that one doesn't look so good with the double circ, seems unnecessary, I don't know how well it would recycle either, but I don't think it would make any sense on another water piece, better with a hook...?

I meant keeping water from exiting out of the male end pointed down that'll connect to a j hook I have.

I think that is still going to depend on the amount of water and how hard you rip it, not sure I see why a recycler would necessarily help with that per se? Even a fancy one like this:

I feel like I've seen better ones than the one you linked at least better perc etc though I'm not sure how well these recycler ash catchers work so let us know if you grab one!

I have one similar to one you show and I like it. Mine has 2 outlets to the male joint the lower support glass was actually another outlet causing water to get out to joint so I plugged it with a rubber plug and now it’s perfect. On the one you show it looks like lower glass support is solid and not another outlet so I think you’re good to go.
