Cheap High Quality Bubbler

I like that design, sort of like a fancy j hook with a downstem and a stand. I like minimalist for easiest cleaning. If I can't get a pipe cleaner to every part it is gonna be too high maintenance.
I just ordered This which takes it to the extreme but price is low and glass looks thick.

P.S. RIP my Shaggy and Scoobie 14mm male juice box rig for my FW7. Took a dive and is no more. Only bought it because it was 'Groovie' but it was pretty good.

Haha yeah I don't know that this popular glass conical rig is that big? Seems like it would be smaller, not cheap, but not such a simple piece I guess so fairly fair? Seems very thick too...

Search around, there are more mouthpieces than those, all different size connections, I wanted to share that one in particular because I know they have those 19 mm female rigs and probably could use a bent mouthpiece!
Yeah, I think my emphasis is more about the "bodies" part, not so much the "big" part... ha.

Thanks, I did and made the edit... the link to the mp you provided is 14mm, and I know those dudes like 18mm as well as myself now cuz of the Goo Roo 3-piece and Dabbing Warehouse rig.

Nice pickup, but sad to lose the groovie! Yeah I have been looking at those juice boxes, but couldn't bring myself to do it, but the sunshinestore showerhead 14mm male piece is calling my name for firewood use now... I asked them if I can swap the herb bowl and glass nail for 19-19 female to female adapter and 14-14 female to female adapter, why not? We'll see!

Oh! Whoops sorry guys, my mistake, I thought it had options for 18 and 14, didn't realize you got that rig as well! Yeah hunt around, there should be list of similar items from other sellers at least...

Perhaps this one is from a reliable seller because it seems pretty nice, inline to mushroom circ perc, around $42 shipped:

I was thinking I would like inline with a male connection so I can attach HydraCirc tube, but this^ seems like essentially the same thing more compact as one piece...

I have one that is nearly identical to that one except with a straight neck. Honestly I don't like it much at all. the bottom perc doesn't hold any water and running both percs causes more chug/drag/draw restriction than I really like, particularly with tighter flowing ball vapes. IMO a single perc with more water provides more cooling with easier cleaning.

Some time ago I bought an ehle rig from verdamptnochmal. At the time, they only had the open diffuser downstem. So that's what I got. Really enjoyed it and other rigs were cleaned and stored.

But I of course had to have the diffuser downstem. Verdamptnochmal want 29 euros plus postage (another 10) which was too much imo. So back to dhgate.

And I found these wonderful downstems for 14 euros for, wait for it, 5 of the buggers. It was a long 5 weeks waiting and not going bugger it, in for a penny and order from verdamptnochmal. But I held on and yesterday they landed.

I expected as least a couple to be wonky and maybe some dodgy performance but they all work great. Really pleased. And whilst I'm happy to support the higher wage demands of my German brothers and sisters I really thought 29 euros for a downstem was a bit much.

Anyway, I had already coupled my rig with this nice ashcatcher, again from the gate.

Lovely piece of work and I got It primarily to run with j hooks and the tinymight or vap but I slapped it onto my main rig, added a little water and boom. Cool and tasty vape. For much longer. And better extraction. And did I mention tastier.... I got so ripped last night that boss lady made a comment that I don't think was complimentary....but I was past caring....

So whilst it's never the end game, I'm pretty happy with this set up. Minimal water, easy to clean (well the ash catcher isn't the best) and versatile, I'm going to be window shoppy only for a while now....

PS hope this slips into the cheap but quality section with total cost around 200 euros....

PPS if anyone knows of a similar ash catcher with removable downstem to support cleaning, please let me know....

If those are diffused being sealed on the ends what is it if its like that but the end is open?
Sorry, completely confused me there.
Are you asking what's it like with the open ended downstem? It's good, especially with the ash catcher. Using the diffuser downstems just makes it a little nicer imo. Less glug glug and I think smoother.

It's alright, we're used @arb posting before his morning ritual/routine...

Get on it, man!
Man........my eyes must be going again.
😵
So those are open on the bottoms?
They still look closed with holes poked in them whereas the ones I have are open on the bottoms with holes around the sides at the bottom.
Just trying to get a clear grasp of the terminology as I still get confused with all the different perc, tubes and shapes.

Love that style of diffuser! My first scientific piece in ~2004 was a small Ehle and it had one like that.

Thanks so closed and poked much like a inline is called a diffused stem?

I think a “diffused downstem” is considered anything with more than the straight hole on the end (Open tube)

With various techniques to do the diffusion, whether it be tree arms, holes, slits, slits with lines drawn between them to make holes (that’s called gridded) showerheads, etc!

Oh and @cybrguy & @snackmaster you may be interested in this mouthpiece too?
It could be interesting to me if it had an 18mm joint. Alas, it is 14mm. I think I am good at the moment, tho.
Edit 2: these are 18mm and a little cheaper but you gotta buy 2 (3 is only like $1 more, btw)... no idea about the seller:

Well, that is more interesting and I will bookmark it in case.
I fucking love my 9-hole diffused down stems... I prefer more than any Perc in my cabinet.
Part of what is exciting me about the HD3. That diffused stem should please.

The nomenclature is hard to really apply to some of these creations. I'm usually happy if I can just get my point across...

Makes sense... Every day a school day.

So I have 5 diffused downstems with holes..... (21 in fact). And I like them....

I am now more confused for the asking.

Wholeheartedly agree lol! I can't keep up with these perc names at all🤪

@Chicken No Name re dismantlable ash catcher:

This might fit the bill but it does not look as nice as your one! Nice and cheap though so perfect for this thread lol.

That would be worth considering if it was available on this side of the pond.
I have one of these that I got for WAY less a few years ago.

I don’t think I’ve ever had any glass I could get a pipe cleaner to every part of  And actually have never used a pipe cleaner to clean my water pipes. I’m pretty lazy with my cleaning and just let dc clear do all the work for me
