I don't think that a honeycomb should ever be the lower perc in any tube. It is pretty much guaranteed to stack up into the perc above it which is a pain in the ass.

If you want a honeycomb get something with multiple lairs of honeycomb. Turbine splash guard is perfect on honeycomb pieces. The GB-228 from yingmin and the D020-W-2 from sunshine store are both great pieces. Also GB-229 if you don't like sidecar style

My honeycomb ashcatcher from Kathy hasn't shipped yet. She usually good about shipping things right away? Safe to assume out of stock? Just wondering if I should cancel and order something else to avoid delays.

I don't want to dirty up my new shiny bong, so I would like an ashcatcher to arrive around the same time as the piece itself. I'm asking if I should cancel that order and order a DIFFERENT one either from kathy or sunshine store that will ship right away. Assuming if it doesn't ship, it's out of stock...

Was just asking for some input as this is only my second order from DH. Thanks for the unsettling sarcastic post though.

I think what @ataxian was getting at was that if you want a piece of glass on a deadline, perhaps super cheap budget glass coming from overseas probably isn't the best bet?

If you new something quick, there are sellers in the us that resell dhgate stuff at ~50% markup - so you'll get what you want much quicker and you can verify it's definitely in stock, or you can he's out to a Lhs and pay 2-5x the dhgate price and have it today...

Good, quick, cheap - as a general rule you can only have 2 ;)

Each item in dhgate should have a line somewhere along the lines of "will ship within X days"

I have so far had 1 seller who didn't meet that timeframe, and thy contacted me immediately upon my payment to offer me a refund or to wait a little bit longer.

What's the worst case scenario here?
You use your new bong for a few days and have to give it a clean once your ash catcher arrives?

Tbh, IMO it's not really fair to the seller to just up and cancel an order once you've placed it.
I guess it's a more common thing over in the us?
To me, unless something has significantly changed about the transaction, once you've ordered and paid, just wait it out...

I have cancelled orders before, but that was because I was given a fake tracking number and my emails were never replied to.
The item was never sent, I could have waited but I was upset that I was lied to, so I requested a refund.
Never have I cancelled because the item took long time to ship, as a matter a fact, I ordered a Harry potter tie for one of my kids Halloween custom with plenty of time, it arrived after October the 31, so I had to buy another one locally before that, knowing it wasn't going to get to me on time.

No she doesn't usually ships right away at least its never happened to me, I ordered the rachett and other bubs from her and it took 22 days simply for her to dispatch the goods and now the waiting game goes on on its shipping to Europe, but I'm tottally cool about it, when it gets here it gets here, its a little like working in fashion, you always work on the next seasons, what I mean by this, buy ahead of time so that's it will not be an issue...or something like that :peace:

Why not use some RezBlock (cranberry extract) - you need to change the water more often, but it keeps your glass as new as the day you got it. I only use hot water to rinse my pieces these days

For what it's worth, I prefer sunshinestore over kathy0577

If you read back through the thread a bit you will see that Kathy is known for shipping issues, you will also realize that ataxian was not insulting you in any way. Catch up a bit and come back when you aren't so butthurt.

We'll said. A brief story about McDonald syndrome. I had a problem with my eye before and was anxious and kept going to specialists To my relieve the doctor told me I have mcdonalds syndrome relieved that the problem was found I asked what that is. He said many people have it today. It's expecting something to be accomplished right now right away. It was a backhanded shot that actually helped me. I order shit off Dhgate and forget about it. I couldn't give a fuck if it takes 3 months that's the compromise My eye was still messed up for months because I had fibreglass in it but the steroid drops eventually won out. As I'm older I guess waiting is part of the fun now sorry for long winded reply

Got my sunshine order yesterday. Ordered on the 3rd and received on the 12th. I'm happy with that! Bomb proof packaging as usual.

My D022 is almost flawless. No scratches, bubbles or cracks. The stem wiggles a little but not noticeable when in use. I'm enjoying the angle of the mouth piece. It's great for sitting at the dining table.
@ataxian how much water do you use in the second little chamber?

Its awesome! Functions well with a 3 slit down stem, no water on the lips with the right water level. There is a few small bubbles in the worked bottom but hardly noticeable. I'm pretty sure someone else in this thread got one and used the term bad ass to describe it, I agree! I move that we now just refer to them as 'bad ass mini beaker'.

The only thing about it is, it's a 10mm. Do they even make those? What vaporizer are you using with it? I have the hammer and as of now my setup would only fit in a 14mm female(but i haven't had the chance to try with a male). I've been looking for a nice beaker bottom, but the other one's on the site have too much of a slant for what I want in aesthetics. There was one for 45, but I feel its a bit pricey.

The D022 has a 18mm female for the GonG or WPA.
10mm is what you find on a small nail bubbler.
What's a hammer?

@various127 I'm just using the bad ass mini beaker as a dab rig. Sorry for the confusion. I'm sure Joda Glassworks would be able to make you an adapter if you wanted to vape through It tho.

@ataxian I only filled the second chamber enough to cover the slits. After a big pull to clear it about half the water ends up in the bottom on the mouth piece. Not a big deal but it does mean that during the next draw the top slit is uncovered so the perc doesnt really fire until you draw really hard or go for the clear.

Has anybody tried to go onto mikes (sss) store on aliexpress? the link i saved is no long there, as well as quick search of a few of his other products are not there. He had some cool pieces on aliexpress, one that i was planning on ordering this week. :doh: what I'm thinking is is that I'm gonna email him, via the flyer he sends out through products on dh, and see if i can receive that glass that way, has anybody ever done that?
