Its frustrating but maybe you will get a free carb cap out of this. That seems to be their MO. But in a month after you order, you will be enjoying. Just try to save your money and get everything upfront at once.
I know when the 4.0 Lifer comes out, ill order that and another skeleton handle for my tsunami cap and maybe an obsidian dish.
Another night with the hurricane cap with skeleton handle and its really awesome. I dont even move the hurricane cap much and it seems to spread the dab around on its own. I did notice the hole in the hurricane cap is at a slight angle like the new tsunami cap i received.
And the Skeleton is nice as it provides excellent grip to control and move the cap and it has burned my fingers yet. And i do forget to remove caps often.

Not announced. I asked them if we were to expect them in early 2018 and got ignored. I didnt expect much of an answer TBH. Just wishful thinking. Im happy with my 3.0 but 4.0 has to follow suit for 2018. I just want a reason to buy something from thing so i can also get another Skeleton handle.
What improvements could be made to the 3.0?

I don't know if we should even talk about the 4.0 until the issues with the current business model are fixed. Just seems counter productive. Josh should be focused on his current gear and getting it in the hands of paying customers. Honestly we really don't need a 4.0 this soon. It's only been 1 YEAR that the Liger has been out and they still can't keep up with the demand. I have no interest supporting a future product when the company fails to support their current one properly. Makes zero sense to support that mentality.
Playing devils advocate though the only thing I would want is a quartz see through bucket hybrid that can be used with coils.
The current system is great IMO.

But it could need some, let's call "finetunings", I guess after having followed the whole thread since it's beginning. Or are some lacks eliminated without any word? Maybe I've missed something?

I'll be getting a storm cap along with my Liger and may order the Hurricane for shoots and giggles.
The glass cap points were helpful and I will order some analogous carbs from dhgate after I've settled in with the new setup (and after my issue with a cracked case sent to me by a seller gets resolved

)Well I ordered a Tsunami carb cab with everything, maybe they'll throw in a hurricane or storm cell. Or maybe even a skeleton handle. That would be cool haha. But he did send me a tracking # yesterday and said he would send it over to his manager so see what he wanted to do about compensation for the delays.

Have you guys tried putting the Toro Core Reactor insert in the liger with the quartz insert? It’s amazing, and so much nicer for me to take a bunch of dabs since I don’t have to clean it with an alcohol soak every time. I gotta keep that grail clean as hell!

Yay out for delivery. Adding a 30mm to the liger collection with a sapphire insert. Heres what I have now from over the years
20mm v2 gold
20mm v3 rainbow
30mm silver v3 (incoming)
20mm Quartz (thicker verison)
20mm Silicon Carbide (old verison)
20mm Silicon Carbide (tier 2 polish)
30mm Sapphire (incoming)
Master storm cell set gold (old verison)
Master hurricane set rainbow (old version)
Tsunami traditional set silver (Incoming)
For the 20mm my fav cap is the Bubble riptide cap collab with pb. Not too much wiggle room but you really don't gotta move it around the hole placement does the work.
Got some 6star dragons breath to test it once it comes.

No I havent since it was already at 500F and i ran out of butane over the weekend. I will grab a bottle and give that a shot at lunch. This has happened with the tsunami cap twice but that was easily removed with a bit of force.
Im just happy the SiC insert is in there and not my Sapphire.

I remember when my bucket used to look like that shinny silver. Now its like dull gray metal with a hint of gold from the heat.
I was able to remove the hurricane cap with 2 mins of heating the bucket with a torch and some pounding thanx to @Danksta. After heating, i couldnt bend it off without feeling like i am about to bend the screwed in dabber. so i grabbed a rubber floor matt and held the the dabber end and tapped on the rubber matt with the bottom screw that holds the coil shield and after 7-8 thumps, it popped off the carb cap.
This is a pain in the ass and i feel like this is gonna happen more often.

I know. the $75 weirdeer cap is on my mind every time i carb cap the Liger. These are the thoughts.
I bet the glass cap would spin smoother.
The hole on the weirdeer cap gotta be bigger than CCA's caps.
Will the weirdeer rip harder than the hurricane?
Will the weirdeer cap vacuum seal like the hurricane cap?
I am really liking the hurricane cap but it just doesnt spin easily.

one thing that's held me back from the weirdeer caps is the variance between each cap... i've read mixed reviews and don't really feel like playing a $75 dollar lottery. i've been keeping my eye on them since whenever one of the members here sent weirdeer a 30mm liger bucket to design those caps. the spherical part is made by hand, so how well each one seals will vary significantly.
in my opinion, one of the best and most consistently good choices of a glass carb cap for the 30mm liger is getting a ChadBro terp trunk (or 2 to have a spare) and getting a local glassblower to modify it/them so that the spigot on the bottom points more downwards or try asking Chad to make you a custom one directly thru his IG.
I don't make the recommendation lightly, as I really didn't like dealing with Chad when I was buying directly from him, but a modified terp trunk is still the best cap i've tried and I went thru quite a few...
if you really want a bubble-type cap though, I would recommend checking out PencilKing710. He does good quality work and doesn't over-charge for it. He made me a very good quality, thick glass custom bubble cap for the liger and charged only $30. Look thru his designs or ask him to make one exactly how you want it. He's a bit slow to get the work done, but the price is low and quality is very good.

Taste seems to linger so much longer with sapphire. Just tried some dragons breath true 73u (washers been on solventless sunday cca420) bubble and grease monkey pho and both tasted a lot better on sapphire and super smooth. 
With the 30mm i can actually see the oil when i am pulling with the 20mm its higher and on the small rig you couldn't see the oil when mouth on rig.
Using the tsunami cap and its the best cap i used from cca710.

So far my favorite temp range has been between 540-560. I’m still playing around with temps, but I think it will probably go down more when I can finally get the AH custom coil. The dabs I’ve been taking have been so much more milky then with just the regular quartz insert at lower temps. I let it sit in there for at least like 5-10 minutes so it gets nice and hot. My gf dropped her dab in there immediately after putting the Core Reactor insert in and had the longest, most drawn out dab of her life lol.
