the first one is a flat coil and wont work with the FP. you will need a 20mm barrel coil for the FP preferably one with 4 wraps. both of these are using the same pid.

Wow who broke my fucking bowl handle! 
I unscrewed it and threw it in the trash, then realized the threading goes through the bowl... so I had to dig through the garbage for that small threaded end so I wouldn't have a leaky boat!
I don't know how some of you can wait til the bowl cools before dumping it, all the AVB gets stuck that way and the screen gets dirtier 3x faster. Like every other vaporizer I've ever used, the AVB comes out perfectly when it's still warm.

Not sure I follow? The 14mm bowl is perfect with a glass reducer for my 18mm glass joints. But the 18mm male bowl? Maybe i'm not seeing the forest for the trees here or some kinda mandela effect going on here?
I think my dab was just too big, but perhaps the slightly more restrictive airflow of the OG made a difference?
Could not agree more....and my bowl doesn't come out in 30 secs like for some... it's such a waiting game, can't wait to get the 14mm stubby!

Use a reducer!!! Not sure how many times i have said this but using one of these allows you to grab the bowl and dump immediately after you are done.
I have used mine like this from day 1 and never had any issues...

I never wait for it to cool, but then its never too hot to dump the load. I wonder what we're doing different.

I get really confused about these things until I can see it and have a feel.
I have a 14 mm female to 18 mm male reducer and Im sure it narrows the airpath. I want to avoid that and keep the 18 mm bowl. So Im assuming this is a viable way?
There is room for some hemp fiber in the middle too, if one wishes?
But please put me straight if this won't work with the FP, or isn't so appropriate in some way.
Edit- my joint reducer is a different style to @lazylathe 's one above. That one looks better.
So Lazy if you see this- you have had the 14 mm male bowl from day one? And you see no need for the 18 male bowl?

With the amount i use i think the straight up 25 hole Showerhead is my best bet, can always switch to the OG with quartz dish for dabs!
Just need to buy another XLR connector and wire up my 20mm coil for testing.

Taste on both is amazing although i give the edge to the GS on this one.
Clouds are huge as you want and as thick or thin as you want, they are both extremely versatile.
I do cough more with the FP, could be the slight bit of conduction. Those vapes always made me cough a lot!
The FP wins as my DD with the ability to easily add a dab to a flower bowl or just do a quick dab.

An EQ bowl fits perfectly in it and is amazing for micro doses!!

But suddenly Im also very drawn to the ergonomics of your simple reducer.
I want 2 bowls ideally. I may consider the 18 mm male to pair with an adapter, or direct at times, AND a 14 mm male stubby bowl for use with that adapter.

Is that a typo meaning comparing? Or have you set up a rig to pair the two vapes together?
@lazylathe yeah I get the tickles bigtime if I am doing back to back small bowls as that FP heats up those later hits have some conduction vaporizing going on. Unless you're doing small micro flower bowls where it's not even touching the sides. This is one of the reasons I was thinking of getting a 2nd FP just to have a lil cooldown time for each of em. Then I've been thinking about a SH and all that, so its almost like I need a whole 2nd setup. Really wish I would have bought a dual controller

It would, and you're not - but it's pretty big in comparison to the 14mm male/glass reducer combo. I could see it being awkward and potentially a broken piece quite quickly.
Apparently SiC has more even heating and especially up the side walls, and will allow you to go lower and experience even MORE flavours! For $10, no brainer! Grab one if they get stock when you order your SH!

Hmm, I have a spare controller, a spare coil and the SiC wraparound. Guess I should do some back to back dab comparisons between SiC wraparound and the SH Ti dab surface

+1 for this. I only use my bowl with a reducer and it never gets stuck AND I am able to dump the load immediately after a hit. I personally don't use the handle on the bowl as much since I just grab the adapter
I guess this means the glass bowl would be a good solution to the sticking as well as just looking good and being breakable

I've been wondering but never got round to searching for one! Well, if ya have any more thoughts about both vapes, I'd be interested to hear em. I dont think I'd buy a GS just because of the form factor (its too tall!
) but it looks like an incredible vape. If theres anything the GS potentially does 'better' than the FP I'm fairly certain NV would be interested to hear it too, to be able to consider those details for any potential FP updates.EDIT: Just thought of putting a tiny hole in the centre of the bowl screen, and hooking the temp probe on to it. Takes the hassle out of me holding it in place, should be a bit more accurate. The digital thermometer I've got has two probes so I'll hold the other one to the dish and get readings there too. The only thing I cant really do is get dish temps while capped.
Then I should be able to figure out the settings on the controller to get it to display more accurate temps either in line with the dish temp or the air temp of the bowl. Not sure which would be more useful.
Currently loving slow, chill bowls down at 495f

I would have liked to buy one like that as it just cost me to buy both 18mm and 14mm bowls..
Vapefiend has only listed a limited selection of parts and i don't see any wrap arounds either
