@Likes2vape just curious how often you have used your EVO and LSV since getting the FP?

Thanks for the bowl tip!
I’ve used my EVO maybe 10 times and the LSV once. I’ve used the SV3 more than either but mainly going camping and bringing it over to my buddies house. The Flowerpot is just so easy to use and gives such massive hits I don’t really reach for anything else and if I do it’s just for sh!ts & giggles. The EVO was the king around here for a long time but once I saw the Flowerpot I knew I had to have one and as soon as I hit it I haven’t looked back.

I'll have to try the twisting motion today, but typically what I have to do is simply "rock" the bowl using the handle, sort of "back and forth". Is @invertedisdead breakaway handle the first "man down"? I'll tell you that I swear i've come close! Close enough that I swapped back to the solid handle. Not too concerned about my cheap glass adapter pieces.

And a massive amount of respect to all the NV Pioneers that have paved the way up until this point!

I know @muunch went through one and I'm sure someone else did too. I knew mine was on borrowed time as I had already straightened the handle a couple times from people bending it. I don't feel like I've gotten anywhere close to breaking a joint in my glass pieces, or read of anyone doing so on here... knock on glass!! :uhoh:

I just had a little wake bakey sesh of some $100 OG flower topped off with a dab of GSC shatter at 685 and I’m ready to go back to bed!!:science: Great way to start Sunday morning!!

I don’t have a problem with the bowl sticking in any of my pieces since someone on here mentioned to grab the handle closer to the bowl and pull straight up so as not to tilt the bowl when lifting it out. It has worked great for me. The bowl used to stick all the time when I would grab the end of the handle when trying to lift it out though.

Not sure if that was me but yeah, if I pull it out as straight as possible it usually comes right out. I think I could count on one hand how many times my 14mm bowl has stuck, BUT other people who use mine seem to get it stuck more than me so I'm all for solving the sticking problems if it helps others.

I'm really conscious about not leaving my heater on the bowl too which I think helps.

It will be simple to change FP bowl screen with errletric one?
What do you think about errletric Titanium Nail Heat Shield

Yes very simple/easy to change screens.

I don't like their heatshield. It looks dumb. Just get the NV coil cover

@muunch went through one and I'm sure someone else did too.

I've broke 2 hemp wrapped handles so far. Been good on my other hemp wrapped one and the silicone wrapped one so far but I've been being more mindful about leaving the head/cap on after a hit.

Stubby bowl gets stuck but with the tubing it's not bad to get it out, sometimes jiggling it causes it to launch all the AVB that's sitting in there though, and that infuriates me.

I def prefer the female bowl for use, but the pieces I like to use for flower are 14mm female, so not only do I have to use the stubby bowl, but I'm also unable to get an adapter in there to help get it off, so I often briefly scorch my fingertips or shoot ABV all over my table.

I also think dumping the ABV when it's cooled down sucks. You end up having to use the duff spike a lot more, and you get a bowl-shaped ABV cake dumped into your ABV jar rather than a stream of crumbs

Inverted, what are your thoughts on the 14 and 18 mm bowls? Do you have both and run the 14 mm into 14 mm bubblers? Or use a joint reducer?
And do you notice ANY difference in airflow or draw restriction between 14 and 18 mm male bowls?
What would you say to my idea to go 14 mm male into a reducer? I don't want to lose airflow at all, but would rather use the glass reducer than the new 2 part bowl design.
Always appreciate and value your wisdom and experience thanks in advance!

Just left the showerhead, capped, on the bowl by accident, for far too long. SC dabber was nearly hot right to the end. Took a hit, nice cloud. The load has barely changed colour, the glass has hardly warmed up, the bowl handle is cool enough to touch.

The benefits of 490f :)

I only have the 14mm bowl and all my pieces are 14mm. Be nice to have an 18-14mm reducer in my kit though, because twice I've brought it with me to others houses and they ended up having 18mm pieces.

I'm not sure on the 2 piece bowl, but the video was a lot more reassuring than what I was picturing from the CAD drawing. As long as the handle does not come undone everytime you pick up the bowl and throw off the adjustment it might be pretty nice really. I also wonder if sitting directly on the end of the joint would transfer more heat to the glass pipe? I think NewVape really wants to nail this new bowl though, so whatever the solution is, honestly it will probably be tops.

My friend thinks the sticking is due to the air hose style seal on the bowl instead of a traditional taper, but I just don't know. He always thinks the bowl is stuck and then I walk over and pull it right out.

Thanks a bunch! So are another happy man with 14 mm bowl not being any isssue.
The bowl size/style is the only thing I have been undecided on yet, so just looking for final assurances I wouldn't prefer 18 mm. This goes against my usual tendancies you see, hence double (and treble/quadruple checking)!

With the new bowl design- it is actually only the increased weight Im not so keen on. I do prefer things to be in one piece as well. If it is going to be a 2 piece I would be happy with the glass reducer as the second part.
Many thanks man.

I might be with your friend there on the seal, I think for me its the bottom ring seal that gives me hassle, if any.

However, I dont keep my glass clean so its going to stick when cooled down :)

Thanks a lot!
Is there any coupon code around?

For Germany it's also free.
I guess not for long when people all around the world are ordering just a shitty screen with no shipment costs.

It depends if it is an oversight, or if in fact they can make these things cheap enough to still make a nice profit. Wonder what they will think though when all these single screen orders pour in suddenly! If all works out, I may grab another. Only 1 at a time though to ensure no customs.
Although- 20 CAD may actually be less than £15.
Otherwise we'll wait and see what Newvape can bring to the table.
Meanwhile, let's just keep the Errlectric to oursleves shall we?;)

Busy weekend , had some family come visit from Maryland for my fathers 60th . Some old time joint smokers got to test out my FlowerPot , the 1st thing they were amazed with was the flavor it provided over smoking j’s. The 2nd was how easy it is to use . It kept up all weekend and now they all want one of there own . Hope everyone is enjoying and doing well , looks like I have some catching up to do on this thread .

I was wondering how the`Included Glass Flower Bowl` looks like up close. :hmm:
If anyone who has bought this rig from NV = 9110 https://www.newvape.com/9110 could post a few close up pics of the included glass bowl, I would be very grateful.

I ve ordered this 1 instead of the black male 1 as advised by NV [on it s way] and I ve only recently noticed  in the description: `Includes Glass Flower Bowl`
Is this rig actually the Möbius 1?

Its a Chinese Mobius Ion knockoff. Looks just like the DHGate stevenlmz79 FC-188 which I own. Great piece.

Here's the key to dewar style rigs (dewar being that the joint is in the middle of the top of the can)....you will need to use an adapter or a drop down so as to not have the body stick in the glass itself.

Adapters, no problem. Drop downs, you will need one that will clear the edge of the can before dropping down. I've been looking around for just this type of item....haven't picked one out yet but it needs to be more of what they refer to as 'N' style drop downs.

https://www.google.com/search?q=N+style+glass+drop+downs&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

The ones on DHGate I have found do not seem to offer a 14mm F to 18mm M like I want. I'll keep looking or have Oregon Glass Blower (Mike) make me one.

Which sapphire halo do you rock? Is it for the d-nail wraparound? I know the cost sky rockets, but the response/feedback vs SiC has been impressive.

Mine is from one of the original runs for use with slim series base and flat coil, it's cracked but still works! It's a good surface, I love my sic halo too just this is a step up. The dnail wrap around FP setup is like a stalwart defense for the halos.

Free shipping for me aswell
I ve ordered anyway 50x ss and 50x brass screens from NV, cause i didn t know about These ones at that time. :uhoh:

Does the Ti 1 really make that much of a difference ?
And how much does a Ti screen usually last with daily use ? :hmm:

Thanks !

Is it still possible to purchase this for a wraparound? Just curious what it costs, and how the dnal wraparound SiC insert compares to the NV SiC insert, other than its size?

Yep, it's quite different to get a suitable dropdown for dewar style rigs with a wider flat top. The best I've found on dhgate was this nice claisen, unfortunately no more available

The dropdown I purchased from NV (china) doesn't fit the dewaar on my glass piece (blaze showerhead) and it's not dhgate, but PlanetVape sells the best Claisen adapter i've ever seen. It's not cheap, but the glass is super thick. Actually going to buy another! I don't think I ever wanna use a glass piece without one, the ability to have a carb is just too awesome for my needs, and the distance it brings your device away from your WT is great.

Does the Ti 1 really make that much of a difference ?

Some people say it does, I had a Ti screen included in my kit in addition to SS and brass, and between the SS and Ti, i'd say it's impossible to tell the difference between the two through the taste of your flowers. And I don't vape just the screen, so can't tell you whether there is a taste between the two. With that said, I purchased a couple of the errlectric screens but mainly because of the build quality/weave design.

The FP continues to shine and impress!

Right on time bro, good morning! :) I'm just beginning my morning ritual and thought it must be about time for my morning paper, I mean morning "Biohacker"! Much more entertaining and informative- REAL news! Thanks for checking in here and giving me something else to look forward to each morning.

So I read this talk about drop downs/claissens etc. And it got me thinking- here I was assuming all I needed was the joint reducer and I will be good to go after I pick up a nice little bubbler- still planning on that one or your videos, unless you persuade me otherwise.

So will that be a problem seeing as the joint is flat(?- unsure with all this terminology.)

Would it need either a claissen or drop down to be able to remove the bowl with the glass reducer? Or will it still be easy enough to get hold of the adapter to remove the bowl?

I would buy a claissen but limited options on dhgate, and good models cost a little. Just about maxed out finance wise to get the FP for £200 ish then a bubbler on top. So son't want to spend £30 more on a claissen.

The ones on DHGate I have found do not seem to offer a 14mm F to 18mm M like I want. I'll keep looking or have Oregon Glass Blower (Mike) make me one.
@Baron23 thanks for offering your valued experiemce on these matters. I searched dhgate snd found this seller. I presume this is no good for what you are describing? I mean they have 14 mm F to 18 mm M, but maybe the wrong design?

https://m.dhgate.com/product/glass-...emale/268358294.html#s1-12-1;searl|0574690800

@biohacker would this work with that bubbler of yours to clear the glass? Or no good? I may look around for a claissen but would prefer to skip it and see how I get on just by clearing the tube by lifting the the heater off the bowl.
Unsure yet, thought I had it all figured.

That claissen @Hogni shows above looks ideal shame it isn't available. Any inputs welcome any time and thanks to all. Hope the week is beginning well for you.

Gotta do steam next amd crack on with benefits appeals first stage to post off tomorrow. Wish me luck, boy I need it (and a miracle to win this impossible game)!
