Just heated up the Solo for a session... immediately upon turning it on, I heard a sizzling/crackling/hissing sound. Turned it off right away, removed the stem, and realized it's probably the alcohol and/or water I had cleaned it earlier with.
I squeezed out the excess water and alcohol prior to using it on the Solo, but I'm sure a few drops still got in there... is that likely to be the culprit? The sizzling sound lasted for roughly a minute or so, before getting quieter and quieter, and now it's gone. The vape smelled like baking cookies for a second, but again that smell is now fading, and the smell coming out is standard vape smell.
Should I have any concerns? Any reason NOT to continue vaping, or can I safely attribute it to the alcohol and/or water, and continue vaping as normal?
I'm currently running it through a dry-run on temp. 7.
Just want to make sure I won't harm myself via using it again. I sincerely doubt I would, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.
**edit: FWIW, I'm currently doing a second dry-run, and I hear no unusual sounds.**
***edit pt. deux: going to attempt a session. If you don't hear from me tomorrow, assume the worst...! (I kid, I kid).***
