1. Horrible taste, headaches, questionable materials, robotic fart smells. Those are all my personal experiences and not everyone is going to end up with a horrible one like mine, but the fact is some do.
I used to love it, now I hate it and got rid of mine and the warranty replacement. I don't trust the vape itself or the company anymore after my experiences.
My advice is to go to the search function, search for all posts by
darkrom, read the Arizer/Solo related posts, and then decide how much credence to give this opinion.
Yes you will see my obviously scam posts right?

"You CAN disable all sounds completely. I forget how, but I did it. It's listed in the manual. Right now my only issues with this vape are based on the stem itself, which could easily be re-designed and replaced cheap.
JoeFinny broke his stem putting in a screen slightly too big and forcing. I still get small scooby snacks with my screen that is too small. I guess I just need goldylocks to come cut me a screen that is just right.
I give this vape itself a 9/10 so far, and the stems a 7/10. Overall VERY impressed. If I broke mine today, I'd be ordering a new one within 2 weeks. It is already my daily driver. I'm even considering selling my DBV now since I find the effects to be comparable."

"I'm pretty damn sure the battery IS easily replaceable without even looking. It's gotta be 1 or 2 plugs max. You can only make hooking up a positive and negative terminal so difficult.
As far as the $100 thing being a downside, I can tell you having used the solo 3-4x so far (thanks finny!) and using mine for a quick test run, the vape is astounding. I prefer it to my MFLB and the jury is still out deciding if I like it better than DBV too. They all have pros and cons, but my first kneejerk reaction is to shout "this is the best vape I've ever used so far". I have used my fair share of vaporizers.
Stay tuned for my results of testing and experimentation with this vape. I'd buy a new one at full retail price every 2 years for the rest of my life if I had to.
I'd say the efficiency is unmatched by ANY vape I've ever used. It's worth noting that the only style I've never tried are the log vapes. I know they are really efficient. If I can get an accurate scale I'll let you know how much I used to produce lots of vapor, but by eyeballing I'd guess 1/30th - 1/50th of a gram. This was my way of testing the absolute bare minimum. I went for something so small that I expected to simply inhale the whole speck I put in, instead large clouds while vaping at a 3 heat setting.
I only hope Lwein tries this thing out so I can compare it to the log vapes. I view him as the king of the logs.
Much more to come."
You will notice that when I first got this vape I LOVED it, and I still agree it is very good at extraction. My issues came up afterwards and are severe IMO. I think it is perfectly clear to anyone who actually does what YOU just said to do, that I am about as legitimate as it gets. If I was some shill or something shady I wouldn't have given it such high praise originally. I review vapes as honestly as humanly possible. When I'm loving something I tell people, but if I start to hate the experience suddenly I'm the bad guy? Its like feeling strongly about how awesome I thought it was at the time was fair and great, but as soon as I stopped enjoying the vape I am a jerk for mentioning my issues? They are valid issues. SOME but not all are addressed by Arizer. That is the whole point of the forums. Just because my experience flip flopped doesn't mean yours will, but there is no reason to be personally upset with me for being vocal on a vaporizer discussion site when I think the product has issues worth mentioning to someone asking for opinions on the product.
