The serial numbers on the bottom are used over again by Arizer. You either have a unit that can be used and charged at the same time or you have the older model that can't. The PA works with both units, the newer and the older models. It won't charge up either unit. It will allow you to use both units plugged in.

The regular power adapter will work with both the older and the newer models of Solos. I hope that makes sense.

Two thoughts. First off, it's not the milk but the fat. Stay away from non and reduced fat milk. Old fashioned Homogenized or better. A dash of cream or half and half should be considered IMO, how often do you do this?

Secondly, you might try half first. Set the other half aside for an hour or so to see what happens? It's easy to reheat and enjoy later.......

Just wanted to say thanks @OF went with some whole milk and some heavy cream one dirty solo stem = two cups of hot coco heaven knocked my wife out I probably could have had both cups but I still feel very
nice definitely worth the effort:p

I bought 3 vapes 8 months ago one was the SSV the other was the E-Nano and i bought the Arizer Solo as a portable. I first tried the solo along with the other 2 and at first much prefered the Nano and SSV. However I think I now prefer the Solo.
I found out by accident that it works much better if you leave it heated up a bit longer than what the manufacturer states about 7 minutes for me. And having played about with it a bit noticed its better to leave the stem in for about 10-15 seconds before you take the first hit. The solo has gone from being my least used vape to my my most used.

That works the best @sweettooth. I heat up my stem while the Solo is heating up. When I reach my maximum temp that I want to vape at I wait another min before I start go draw. Usually the first draw I have large visible clouds but they increase after a few more draws.

In the evening I hook up to a water tool and before bed I use some wax mixed in the middle of the herb. the Solo,is a very versatile vaporizer. It's not the most stealth in the portable department but it's other qualities out weigh anything negative.

This helps with sleep and evening pain. Not having to add extra pharmaceuticals is better on your body. Most doctors wont tell you that. No need to spend $400+ for a unit to medicate unless you want to spend that kind of money and can afford it.

There's one less of those PuffItUp open-box units available; one of them is now mine. If you want one, you better act fast.

I love my Solo so much I can't imagine being without it for even a couple of days. Glad to have this new-to-me unit as a backup. It may become my son's daily driver as well as my backup. We're right on the edge of getting him to stop combusting for good. He loves the clouds of smoking but likes what the Solo does for him and he's started working and buying his own herb so he loves the Solo for its efficiency. He's been borrowing mine more and more when going over to friends' houses.

EDIT: Shipped within 30 minutes of order? Are you kidding me? You rock, Randy.

So i've asked a couple of times about the newer charge/use models, and @OF chimed in as he seems to be the battery expert on the forum. I've read through the posts about not overcharging, overusing, etc. and it all seems like complex gibberish to me and I still couldn't get my answer whether it's better to charge and then use (without a/c power), charge again, repeat, OR if I have power/charger available should I just use while plugged in. I decided I needed to know so I emailed Arizer...within 2 days I received this response:

Thank you for your email
The Solo has built in battery protections so the battery cannot be drained too low or overcharged. You can use your Solo unit on battery power or plug it in at your convenience. If you have access to a power outlet and your charger, it doesn't hurt anything to plug it in.

I had to order a new lid for the solo since I cross threaded it!It came yesterday,so a lid means the whole aluminum body and the lid which I didn't know.I put it on and when I was tightning the 4 screws at the bottom,didn't over tighten.The front right one has chipped and noticabley.I read some threads that this happens a lot?

On the newer models the chipping is bad.
Do you use the o ring also?
The lids may not fit all bodies so they send you the whole thing
My cousin ordered the lid just for the rubber cap(they don't sell just the cap) and received a cap and body too.

For those of you having problems with your base of your Solos chipping and cracking. @Pipes sells a base that fits on the bottom over the existing base. The stand comes with an elbow piece, it allows you to charge the Solo standing up. I have one for each of my newer Solos. Out of site out of mind. You can get one through Pipes but Puffitup also sells them too.
