thanks! but just to be clear, cause I'm kind of new to the terminology; UNground herbs=nugets? or just not fine grinded?
don't worry about it! i should have been more specific thanks for giving me first hand experience with both the solo and scs, i feel more comfortable buying from the domestic retailer now.

IMO the Solo is one of the best portables around. The price is hard to beat as well.
Unground = Nuget. I too usually use my solo with Nugs and no grinding !
Correct--I just pinch a piece off the nugg and insert it into the Solo.
Fine grind is probably more efficient in terms of extracting the maximum medicine from the plant, but I don't worry about that, since after vaping I grind up my ABV and use it in edibles. Nothing is wasted. Every time I eat an ABV brownie, I think, "back when I smoked, this is the stuff I would have thrown out as charred ash."

Alright not to get off topic a few pages back some talk about simmering solo stem in milk would one heavily coated stem be enough for 1 or 2 cups of milk?
I had a quick question.....so if you pack your stem and take a few draws off it and decided to finish in a hour or two when you shut it off do you guys take the stem out for the time being or just leave it in?
Thanks
thanks! how much herb does one need to go through before being able to create a small batch of potent brownies?
There is some really excellent advice on ABV recipes and doses here: http://fuckcombustion.com/forums/cooking-with-cannabis.10/
I used 10 grams of ABV in my most recent batch of chocolate chip cookies (using 1 box of cookie mix from the store, I'm not a from-scratch baker). They were magnificent.
thanks Simple Man. Light is still blinking....I'll wait for that to turn solid and give it at least 6 more hours. I guess I was just concerned that it started at 5 and got to 7 after about 15 min.
Hey everyone just got my new solo, hits like a champ and im already in love, but can anyone tell me is it normal for the heat light to flash occasionally when its already heated up? thanks
cool thankyouYep - After reaching the designated level and holding .... the heat light flashes to let you know when it had to kick in a little heat to maintain the level.
I think the PA's worked with the M1A and into some M1C's IIRC. After that the stock supply works during use. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong (spanking optional). [Insert obligatory disclaimer that serial #s have no meaning here].Does the M1A support the power adapter?
Using that logic, people who own a Cera Titanium, Cloud EVO, Herbalizer, Sublimator, VB2, etc... only use their vaporizer because it was expensive
I'm sorry, but I don't think the OP is saying that at all. Please reread what he said. TIA. I read it as 'if someone has paid $400 for a vape they are not as likely to abandon it (and throw it away) as a guy with $80 invested might'.
I see nothing at all to support the idea that the only reason for owning and using big bucks vapes is because they cost a lot. I think folks own and use the vapes they do because they thing they're good values to them. Purchase price no doubt plays heavily in most decisions to buy, but I really doubt many hold the view 'this must be a superior vape since it costs so much'.
That is, I agree with what I 'take' the OP to say, guys are less likely to pitch out a Cera than an Atmos.
