Yes. As far as ive heard the v2 devices will come with an updated USB C PD inputDoes anyone know if the upgrade will allow me to use other USB chargers?
Sorry I didn’t phrase my question correctly. I meant if you just got the software update would that update the USB.
It is not the charger, it is the cable. It needs to be a USB type A to type C. I've never used the charger that came with it.I know that Arizer stated that the charger that came with the Solo3 was the only one that could be used with that device. Does anyone know what makes that charger so special, can I purchase this type of charger on line and what would be the replacement for it.

USB C to C also works as long as the power adapter doesn't supply more than 5V.It is not the charger, it is the cable. It needs to be a USB type A to type C. I've never used the charger that came with it.
Otherwise, all the updates are purely cosmetic...
Yes, I saw that it has an on-demand mode and three modes that you can customize... Nice to have...Sounds like you may have glossed over all the extra customization features available in the on demand mode now... I felt like the updates were largely firmware in that vein offering more control, not all purely cosmetic
there is a black option v2 with the same display colors as before, so the green screen is not really a downgrade? an option you dislike, sure. I like my black one too!Yes, I saw that it has an on-demand mode and three modes that you can customize... Nice to have...
But none of these features are going to blow me away.
I don't want to complain about the Solo 3... For me, it's currently one of the best portable electronic devices... But I'm not going to get caught up in the hype about the V2
But I think the display is a "downgrade"

It remains the sameA great device
I can google this but does the Solo 3 also have a just set the temperature mode for on demand and session? Not picking or adjusting a preset, but just picking a specific temp and adjusting if desired in the moment?
Thanks. The Solo 1 was my first vape and I regret selling it.
Think I get it but to fully clarify for on demand you have to pick a preset, can't just put it in on demand mode and pick a temp?Yes and no. The preset feature is specifically for the on demand mode, since it is different, more like micro sessions, with full control. So now you have more control to set up those presets is all (three presets where you can control time and temp instead of just time with five presets). There is still the regular classic session mode with full temp control range available, that is unchanged

Thanks.
