There is also an Airis 8. Which is a nectar collector without the cup or bubbler of the headbanger.
My headbanger arrived Friday night. I was going to a Christmas works do, so dashed home, picked up the parcel, grabbed the headbanger, filled up the little quartz container with some rosin, and left. I took a powerbank with me as i had no chance to charge it, but its was not required.
First few attempts at using the headbanger with the dip tip were very disapointing. I was starting to think i had brought out the wrong vape and peeps were gonna be sad. However all of a sudden massive cloud. I think the porus tip just needs to be properly soaked first use. From that point on i had no issues. Much bigger clouds than the terp pen, and generally tastier. I really like this thing a lot.
The HB feels good in the hand and is not too big. Build quality is okay, but does need feel as good as say the terp pen. I did not have to charge the battery at all that night, straight out the box. It was passed round a lot and i was out till 2am!
The on board concentrate container is a great idea, but a liitle awkard to use. Maybe it just requires technique, which i dont have yet. I found the black stopper very hard to remove from the compartment and very difficult to remove from the quartz container. In the end i did away with the stopper, and put the quartz container lose in the compartment. Only problem is then it rattles around and is hard to dip unless you take it out. Loading the quartz container is also tricky. Most goes down the sides rather than the bottom. Its a lot easier to dab if the rosin is at the bottom. Again needs practice, and tips anyone?
One button function is easy to use and intuative.
When you press the fire button the light turns on and lights up the bubbler - that is neat!
Now i have a headbanger, i cant see the terp pen getting much use. Its way better performance and is still small enough to carry easily. Was cheaper thsn a terp pen as well!
