Dry herb portable Vapes which can get up to 240 degress/464 F.

That's above the combustion point so any vape that can scorch herb can go approximately that high. Definitely the TinyMight and Firewood can scorch, not sure about the others you've listed.

    FLYTLAB LIFT VAPORIZER

Well that makes it so much clearer why this dead thread was brought back to life.

Herborizer Ti or Cloud Connoisseur Halo for clumsy and safety-paranoid guy?

I picked up on this minor detail and really it's nothing to worry, or even think, about. Yes by doing this you could possibly extend a cells life from 3 years to 4 and in the process save yourself maybe $1 a year on new cells. The 70% storage thing makes sense for a new boxed product that...

Question about the Smok Osub 80w TC modifications for a dry herb chamber

Since you haven't gotten any replies I'll throw out the little I know. While I have heard of people modding liquid tanks to vape dry flower my understanding is that this works somewhere between very poorly and not at all. You would be better off buying a dedicated 510 thread dry herb vape...

Dablamp Giveaway - Free dablamp kit up for grabs!

Interesting, I need one because how else will I be able to give it a try before everyone else?

    Discontinued RBT Splinter (All Versions)

All the time, I tried TC and it really didn't add anything so I went back to wattage. For me there is a natural temp stepping that occurs as things warm up. Temperature can be driven higher or lower via inhale rate and length. For me, and my non-DNA P80 mod, TC just interferes with that...

    Glass with straw type mouthpiece

If you don't mind a whip try a Magic Flight Orbiter or one of the globes from sneakypetestore.com. The Orbiter seems ridiculously small at first but I use it for everything: Vapcaps to a ball modded Silver Surfer. I got a china made matrix sidecar rig last year (similar to what everyone buys)...

The HighLighter (Glass-Core Open-Source Halogen Log) Kit Hosted by REFC Labs

Thank you, I love it when people provide details of their customizations. Do remove it from the stand when heating or is the arm adjusted to keep it exactly right on your water piece?

    Cooling unit?

I used to dip my spiky Splinter Z stem in a zip lock suspended in a glass of cold water to dump some of the heat build up. Works easier than it sounds but still too much trouble. These days the Z lives on an extension and is only used on a piece at home. Any way you look at it, they are heat...

    Cooling unit?

That's exactly what it is, but without the radiating fins you would have on electronics heat sinks. The problem with most of them is not enough mass and once they become heat saturated they can't absorb anymore. Heavier is better.

DIY Induction Heater Builds and References

Just to emphasize even more, measuring high currents is the activity most likely to kill your meter. You need to go carefully. The red lead is in the wrong spot, you have to move it up to the socket labelled "10 A - Max". If you measure this current as is there is a good chance of damaging...

DIY Induction Heater Builds and References

That looks well made and can handle a ton of current, price seems reasonable, so yes.

The HighLighter (Glass-Core Open-Source Halogen Log) Kit Hosted by REFC Labs

Everyone draws their own line on material safety but you might be overthinking it. The heavy metals in a thermistor are trapped inside the glass bead and aren't getting out unless you grind it into dust. The leads are significantly less of a concern. There is also a matter of scale, a bowl...

Papers and articles comparing smoking flower versus vaping raw flower (no concentrates)

This question comes up a lot, like once a week or more. No, unfortunately there are very few good scientific studies on Cannabis and virtually nothing on vaping it. It is highly doubtful that smoking would be healthier than vaping. Vaping deposits lipids (fatty substances) into your lungs...

    Strange Taste Out of Nowhere

@CicoVaps, you are familiar with the concept of teasing, right? No one here means you any harm but you reacted so strongly they can't resist now. I mean, it sounds like you aren't feeling well, perhaps you have a fever. Dude, it's a joke. No, I've never heard of what you are describing, it...

    TinyMight / TM 2

Engineering designs often allow for "sacrificial" elements. If you control the "weak" point you can plan for future maintenance. In this case you don't want stems wearing and breaking so it would make sense to use balls that are softer, not harder. Personally I don't think there is enough...

    Need urgenthelp buying new charger

Center pin is almost always positive for DC power bricks. I double checked some of the supplies on Amazon and a negative center pin is available with some digging but there are only a couple and they note the polarity very clearly (because it's unusual). 99% probability it is center positive...

The HighLighter (Glass-Core Open-Source Halogen Log) Kit Hosted by REFC Labs

Thank you. I'm so tempted, I love the look of it. Too much thermal mass too far from the heater can, in theory, rob heat and reduce performance. What do you think? Is this heavier glass better, slower to preheat, the same, or just undefinably different? Edit: just checked the shipping...
