    VAULT SE Battery

I could have sworn I replied to this, but apparently not... If you are still taking testers I would love to help. My current favorite battery is a Yocan Groote (sorry about using the competition :)), I like that short rectangular form factor.

Issue with Wismec Rx Gen3 Dual

If it was reading resistances too high it might be a bad connection. Reading resistances too low can only be a fault in the internal circuitry. I would try to use it in wattage mode only and monitor carefully for overheating of the coil, be prepared to abort.

    How "smelly" is rosin?

It's a question of who they work for. If it's TSA they are definitely not drug sniffing, if they are being handled by Border Patrol then they probably are drug sniffing. TSA only cares about plane safety and don't consider drugs a concern, they also have no arrest powers and rely on local PD...

    battery issue

That cell should be fine as a replacement, the small change in capacity doesn't matter and the Crafty won't know the difference. Replacing cells in these units requires spot welding a blade connector to a flat top (NOT button top) cell, did you do that or have it done for you? Just checking...

    Silver Surfer Vaporizer

I bought a stainless steel sink strainer and cut a biggish screen out of it for the main air passage. You can shape that screen, and a smaller one for the air intake hole, using a piece of wood with a custom drilled or convenient sized hole. Push the screen into the hole with the handle of...

    Replacement for Fury 2

There are a ton of options. The "POTV One" is nearly identical to the Fury 2 and many people like it. You could try an Arizer Solo 2, it's bigger and much longer with the stem in but has fantastic battery life and durability, a slightly cleaner (more glass) air path, and is easy to clean. The...

    Magicstone Odyssey

Drilling a hole that long in natural quartz would be a nightmare task with the added risk of the crystal splitting at any time. I'm curious how the did it, probably a very expensive bit.

    Silver Surfer Vaporizer

Something is wrong with your unit, yes it's very easy to combust, or at least it should be. I bought mine used and the ceramic heater rod had slipped down much too far. It's really easy to open it up and adjust the height. I moved mine up until it is about 1/8 of an inch below the cover, it...

    Anvil by Vestratto

Why not just use a Vapcap which will heat much faster? I mean that as an honest question, does the Anvil still provide a benefit in this scenario?

DIY Induction Heater Builds and References

A master switch is a good thing to have for safety but that applies most strongly to battery builds. For a mains powered unit you can always just unplug it. I won't leave an IH plugged in when I'm not around, these circuits are cheap and unreliable. Yeah, those switches start to get...

    Killing zvs boards

@gostavs , when I've run into problems where I seem to do be doing something mysteriously wrong, repeatedly, I've solved it by intentionally doing everything differently. Something you are doing, probably something that was never a conscious decision in the first place, is leading to this bad...

    Killing zvs boards

The expert is @TommyDee , hopefully he'll see this and come comment. If it does this even when you haven't closed the switch you added then that switch must be in the wrong place. Did you follow TommyDee's guide exactly?

Good suppliers of alternative dry herbs for my Pathfinder II vaporizer (in/shipping to UK )

@Maners16 , you'll find most of the people on this site are vaping cannabis rather than exotic blends but there will be someone who knows about them. The vaporizer you selected isn't known as a good one which is why you are getting comments like "can you return it". We'll help you the best we...

Can you "Re-use" iso pro alcohol?

Have you tried tasting this? Does it leave any left over flavor on the cleaned pieces? You never know what chemicals they added to "denature" it.

Can you "Re-use" iso pro alcohol?

That's the way to go. I have a jar with a 1/2 to 1 cup (100 - 200 ml) of ISO I use for soaking, that gets reused for months. I put a few tablespoons of new clean ISO into a small dish for rinsing. Things come out of the reused ISO just a little bit sticky, next it's a quick dunk and QTip wipe...

    Overall bestselling models?

My guess for the market overall is that it is dominated by the crappy brands that get sold cheap in brick and mortar stores: GPen, Snoop Dog branded crap, Chong branded crap, APX, etc. Many hundreds of thousands of those things have been impulsively purchased and then trashed.

The Advanced Telemetry Module by REFC Labs - The world's first advanced precision & multi-core capable desktop heater controller

This is actually quite impressive. Poorly designed electronics would just burn up if you reversed them this way. This unit has good protections (although it is a little weird that the screen powers up from the output side).

First dry herb vape for 300 USD?

A Vong and iSpire Wand would be a very solid choice for first vape. That combo has become my go to 4 days out of 5 for the last few months. It is suitable for small or bigger sessions. The Wand is heavy but a convenient shape for a jacket pocket. I take mine to the movies for a quick tune up...
