I use a sewing needle to install my SS CCD which prevents the fins from bending during installation and removal. I put the needle in the small hole at the center of the SS CCD which allows me to have some control over the CCD as it is installed. Since using this method I've had the SS CCDs in my...

I really suggest sticking to the SS CCDs as they're far easier to install and have some spring to them over the Ti CCDs which bend and remain bent. A sewing needle makes a perfect installation tool that allows the CCD to properly "Compress", (as the name suggests it should) and not get bent up...

My experience working with black wood is that once it cracks it will expand over time until it reaches the other side.

I meant as a wood crafting term but in general the SS liner is there to prevent anything from the decorative outside getting into the air path. I assume that the reason you want a liner in the acrylic is to isolate it from the air path? It's certainly possible. The liner has a secondary purpose...

It's no wider than the standard wood stems or the M stem. 10mm is same width as the tips and mouth pieces as well. Right now I go down to about 12.5mm on the OD before I'm afraid it will crack on me. I have thinner tubing that would allow for slimmer stems and still have a laminated construction.

8mm ID x 10mm OD SS* If you can imagine an M body stuck inside a piece of wood you would have one of my Steel core stems. They should be compatible with all Dynavap parts.

    Phattpiggies Wood Shed

That one was dyed with Aniline dye on the surface with about 4-5 coats to get the colour and depth needed. I then applied bee's wax heated it making sure it soaked into the dyed wood to lock in the dye. I'd like to get a vacuum chamber soon so that I can get more penetration on the dye and also...

    The Herbalizer

The form factor could use an update for sure. All that storage space is pretty much useless to me and is only taking up precious space on my desk. A vertical unit would be much preferred.

This wouldn't be too hard for me to do. I already drill a 10mm hole through the wood.

I adjust my Omni quite often to suit my mood. Sometimes I want some light smooth draws with lots of air, sometimes I close it for use with my water pieces. There's certainly no going back to a regular condenser for me.

It means it has an Omni Condenser rather than a standard condenser. The Omni lets you set the airflow through the carb from fully choked to fully open, removing the need to feather the carb. As for the meaning of "omnivap" I'm not quite sure. Omni means "all" and doesn't make much sense to be...

    coolest vape?

The coolest vapour I can produce is when I use ice in my water pieces. The vapour comes out so smooth for me.

    I want killer vapors.

Get a Vapcap. It offers herb hits that are dense like a dab. All you need to do is get used to heating the cap and you're all set.

Your hemp is quite dark compared to my hemp, (which is about as white as 50% cream). Which suggests that there's still some of the plant resins left in your fibre. There's almost no smell at all from my fibres, if anything it smells more like the plastic bag it's stored in than anything...

I hadn't even noticed that burl was no longer being offered in the Dyna shop, 18mm VonGs are also non-existent. I guess Dynavap is growing too large to stock so many different sizes and species of exotic wood. If you ever do want a burl piece I'd be happy to make one.

I use a pair of scissors and cut tiny screens to fit in my vapcap on top of the CCD. It doesn't work quite as well as a fibre filter pack but it's much better than the CCD on its own.

Hemp fiber does not mess with the flavour, at least it messes with it less than Cotton does. I've used both and I definitely find the hemp to be the better fibre to use. That said I use stainless steel concentrate pads in my Vapcap tip that is designated for concentrates. As long as you don't...

This belongs in the Best of thread. Great stuff! Edit: You may want to change the notes on the M as heating beyond the click on the second pass may cause burning. The higher density and thus higher mass requires more energy to heat up and holds on to that energy longer. An M tip will stay...
