Just three o-rings and two X-rings are needed for the M. The click happens at a whole range of temps, it all depends where and how you heat your cap.

You would think so but my Herbalizer can extract things that my Vapcap cannot. The prolonged heat at 440F while filling a bag will remove just about everything possible without burning. I routinely run through my Vapcap ABV with my Herbalizer and get good results.

Is it possible that there's still wax in the top of the cap with the discs? That could be why it's getting stuck. My brother had this happen to him when he left his vapcap full of shatter in a hot car and it melted into the cap. Another reason caps get stuck is if the cap is pushed on too hard...

Where do you plan to keep your dynastash where it would be exposed to excessive moisture or termites? Unless you're planning to leave your stash outside in the rain and weather I wouldn't worry about it.

I was speaking from experience which has been that the silicone o-rings have maintained their fit longer than viton or buna-n. It doesn't get brittle with the repeated heat cycles.

The silicone is better than viton but more expensive. It resists flattening out and seems to abrade slower.

Your o-rings are likely flattened out or worn and need to be replaced. Even if you treat them well they will still degrade through use and abrade against the wood. I've found that the red silicone o-rings that I bought last far longer. They seem to resist flattening out and don't abrade as...
