FWIW, when I modded my LSV I had to fill the glass with beads first and then insert the heating element It took some jostling around before I could invert it and get the glass mounted properly. The other SSV glass style may require some special assembly as well

What's the finish on your SCS? I noticed the matte finish SUCKS and gets sticky and gross almost immediately. My two mediums are glossy and don't have issues.
