Cheap High Quality Bubbler

Sounds like something smells purple.
If only they hid big wobbles...

That is definately not as sad as it could have been, glad it still works. Easy to make a wooden base for it that would look cool.
Get a plank of wood maybe half an inch thick, (could go thinner and use ply) slightly wider than the glass base (when it was completely round)
Cut 2 squares the same size, big enough to fit the base of the rig with an inch or 2 to spare.
Cut a circle in the centre of one of the pieces that matches the glass base.
Glue (and screw if you got no clamps) the 2 pieces of wood together, then round off the corners. Shape as desired.
Clean out glue and wood bits from the hole.
Silicone the broken base into the hole(or some other flexible glue, if you use a glue that goes hard/rigid it may cause issues with the glass). Use lots. Fill the void under the glass base.
I have a couple of nice tasting but cheap and unstable rigs that I have been meaning to do this to BEFORE i break them. I have to get rid of my square To-it first. Need a round one.
You could try casting/pouring a resin base round it, but the glass might not like it if there is any contraction as the resin dries (I dont know enough about resin casting to be sure).

a decorative wooden base epoxied to the broken base fill with dark colored epoxy and only you know its broke to most it is just a custom base
just a little addition to the above post with great advise resin usually will expand and contract with the glass the base should not have major temp swings.
So a poured resin base is a possibility for all broken base/unstable base bongs and rigs?
A circular slab of something like this would make a nice rig base....

EDIT-- This is NOT My work, couldnt find who's, but its nice...

If you had the resin and a circular mold of some kind it wouldn't even be that hard to do. A mold about an inch bigger around than the base would be great, and the resin wouldn't even add much more weight. This is a good idea if I had any idea about who could do it. Maybe someone who does furniture like that example. I don't know how much resin like that costs but I imagine it could be done fairly reasonably. I played with the idea of doing it with clay but that added too much weight.

You can get different grade resins for pouring different thicknesses, I would have thought more weight a good thing for the base.
you could make a mould with cardboard and gaffa/duct tape.
Could look good just in a clear resin.
Shop near me use to do smaller casting kits for under £25. Couple of years back tho...

Holy shit is Steven's knockoff of the 9" TAG Donut cheap. Like 10% of TAGs regular sale price. If I didn't already have the TAG I would be grabbing that for sure. I have been scrolling around for some cheap china flat mouthpiece stems but no joy. Anyone have link?

If you like the look of the FC-199 mouthpiece I would just ask them in the chat If you can buy it separately. They're usually very accommodating.

I like this one too. Is there a carbed ash catcher or carbed drop down adapter on dhgate which would work with this piece?
I own their carbed 18mm adapter, which doesn't have great joints and I would need an additional ash catcher or drop down adapter which won't look great and wobble quite a bit.

What I'd really like to find, and I seem to remember there were some DHgate ones, is some four or five (or 6 or 7) inch Periscopy ones that kind of looked like the head of the 1953 version of War of the worlds invading ships. That would be ideal.

Best carb adapter would be from cloud connoisseur or just get a carbed bowl instead?
This is a great drop down I'm still waiting for them to make other sizes:

This one?
Or these?

Oh hey it seems like they have a big steamroller now too:

Noticed they have this style of Hydra base available again instead of the other style so I will probably snag one at some point unless too good to be true:

Oh and they also have this sunshine one now that was on eBay too:

Wow, the carb adapter with ash catcher from cloud connoisseur looks really great. Is it 18mm or 14mm? Isn't shown on their website. A bit expensive, but I have not seen anything comparable.
I saw the drop down already. I like the design too. Would be nice when they offer it in different sizes (18mm).

Yeah he has a big shipment of glass coming in soon, you can follow in his glass thread, they are all 18 mm though and super thick

I'm amazed at how you find things like this on dhgate. Do you have any tips? The listing keywords all seem to be buzzword bingo.

These were all literally the same shop? Just look at a store and scroll through... You can also then skim through each listings to find suggestions of supposedly similar looking items although often from the same seller you can find other sellers that way and just keep going on and on... I pretty much never use the search, the terms are rarely accurate to describe the pieces anyway, also just have a good memory for what I have seen and where typically (@cybrguy looks like OGB!)

Bi-annual plug; TAG9 donut is in stock as low as $109 (2nd quality) +35%off! Now is the time.

I just came here to post this. 😃

With that code and $10 shipping it's $80.85. So I finally acted on this:
My biggest regret on this thread is not picking up that TAG donut at $70. (Or less).

Anyone tried their corked jars? Was considering grabbing a hook and a couple of the jars, but not sure if they are worth it.
