I’m back to my Aqua Lab mp on my TAG donut. I like the longer mp’s, but I’ve broken several 45 adapters already, it’s a precarious setup for me. (I’m clumsier than most)

Seems like a good one although I am surprised the 45s are more delicate

A few times it was around that but the time I slept on it last was Jan of last year:

I've got one of those same TAG pieces too in the older style that came with a hose adapter. Got it for $60 during a 420 sale. Its a great piece and is my daily driver, paired with a TAG 8" recycler using 2 14mm Magic Flight water pipe adapter pieces -wood removed and cleaned up- connected to silicone hose to make a dual pipe setup for better cooling. I have a larger double percolator bong with an incycler but it is like pulling a milkshake through a cocktail straw and the 2 smaller pipes cool just as well but it is far easier to use.

I'm using the recycler as the mouth end, with an 8mm ID 10mm OD piece of vinyl tubing (for beer making) shoved into the hole in the mouth providing an airtight seal. It also means I don't need to crane my neck to take a puff.

Wow and I thought I got a great deal with mine on sale for about $74 shipped! Yeah they seem to have raised the price on it, but now it comes with a nice bent mouthpiece at least... I have such a wide variety of different mouthpiece setups I posted photos of with mine here, and other modular pieces

Yeah depending on the exact adapter they can be, a few of mine are quite thin, but they still hold up since they are small, if you knock something over though I'm sure they would crack in half... I am pretty careful especially after breaking my first goo mouthpiece knocking the whole rig over lol

Yeah it's a shame it is more expensive but it does come with a mouthpiece now which it used to not be an option and there could be other changes once it finally is available again who knows the price could drop again later too

I'd trade all mine for one or two more of the B. Wilson martini slides, those are awesome with 18mm injectors.

If you see my post on the previous page, that is a color GooRoo three-piece mouthpiece, with 45° angle adapter from allaccessary, I use similar adapters with Phineas coolers as mouthpieces for more compact profile and open air flow, if I didn't have so many of those I would have gotten a GVB mouthpiece too lol there's also a nice right angle spiked taper mouthpiece also available with flared version from Genesis Glass now... Agreed this piece does work really well with whips too! Been a while since I whipped one out, been meaning to again

There aren't that many of that style around, especially ones that actually lower the joint. The ones on DHgate look like they don't lower the joint at all. @VapeFiend.com here in the UK sell them (well a mirror image lesser quality version) but the joints on those are poorly lined up so e.g. Anvil sits at a wonky angle. Functions but looks rubbish.

No I've never seen one from OGB... That one is from Rick Bird Barry and it is quite expensive especially for color though they are large and really nice, you can follow him on Instagram to snag them... Genesis glass have a deeper drop down available now per my request although it's only 14-14 so I am waiting for them to make more sizes

I was mailing with a TAG rep by the way and they were open to input for designing a new water piece. They'd need 30 pre orders before they do a production run, but if they do a render and put a listing online for pre order, I bet it won't take too long before those 30 are pre ordered. They would ship individually, so no hassle there.

If anyone got ideas to share, let me know. I was going through their catalog and they've got lots of nice pieces already, especially the not so complex ones which I prefer. So I am pretty much drawing blanks here. Besides that modular piece, I like their inline bent neck pieces a lot, but they got many variaties of that already. They also have pieces with dewar joint to the downstem, which can be an interesting starting point as well.

Let me know if you have any ideas

I cannot see any difference between the B2c rubies from my more expensive ones. I measured quite a few and they were all very close in OD.

Got a factory second with the cyber35 discount for $60 shipped. The MP is not my favorite but I figured it was worth a try at that price.

I have had this Tag Super Slit Bellow UFO for a bit. At first I regretted it. I thought it was too big and it had pretty serious blowback. But now I really dig it. It is fun to fill, and nice to hit. No the most flavorful glass that I own, but doesn't steal too much. I tamed the blowback with good coordination on a pass-through carb and a low water level. I think putting in just enough water to cover the slits is what did it. Now I can sleep on the carb a little and still avoid a duff storm.

It says it is a second, but I can't find any flaw. I do like the perc on it a lot and I think I would buy another piece with it. Looks like with the current BREAK-35 code, you can still get it for $60.

Nice, yeah it is really a basic shower head, in the mushroom shape style which is usually when the perc is in the neck or tube, it just has so many slits so yeah that way with a lot of water blow back more at risk more at risk

Yeah, that's all I can figure is that the mushroom causes the blowback. I actually prefer it will less water anyway, so I guess it was probably designed that way.
