Okay, I just received the GRAV 3" Upline Taster - Clear - Black Label. Not sure how to use it, does it need a screen? its a pretty big bowl, a screen and load her right up. Install into the TM2 and that’s it. Please chime in and tell me if I’m missing something here. Vape long and prosper

Got mine today! I havent tried the Titanium mouthpiece. I tried the short stem for the first time today since I was exclusively using the XLCS in my TM1. It gets hot!! I remembered seeing someone on here (please tell me if its you) stuffing the dynavap silicone mouthpiece inside the TM stem to be able to avoid burning your lips. This helped a lot! I also used the new dosing capsules. To everyone who told me not to do it: You were right!! It tastes much crappier. Nothing like what I get from not using them. Have to see if TM2 vapes more evenly.


This is a good idea. If you try it, please tell me whether you have to clean the cooling unit less often.

What’s the brand, model, and age of battery. Does everything work besides “vibrate”?

I'll try to compare both, but it's hard to use the exact same settings as it depends how they were calibrated I guess.
I used to run the TM from 5 to 7, and then I got a 1.5 which I'm using between 3 and 4 only.

I'm using the TM2 between 3 and 4 as well. When the bowl is finished at 4, the AVB is quite dark.

I think I have adjusted my inhaling technique slightly. That often goes subconsciously when I use a device often, I get more efficient with it. Perhaps if you would use TM2 exclusively for a while and then return to og it will give better results.

It might be expected too much, making a dope canon like the OG TM even better. The build quality is top notch and I might keep it because its simply the first TM I own with perfect build quality.

I think you just need to recalibrate your TM2

Well, funny you should ask.

I have recently fallen back into favor with using my TM2 direct draw so I have been amassing a tinymight stem collection. I use those screens with the following:

HA 4 Pill Stem with Rogue Wax Works Mouthpiece
Custom OGB cooling stem with flattened mouthpiece
Short Tinymight Tube with Simrell MVS in it (only use for an MVS imo and its not even that good)
extra long cooling stem from tinymight
titanium stem from tinymight
grav upline stem


and hopefully some more HA stems and a couple GVB stems coming in the future!

@Michel ime it doesn't "easily" outperform og TM vapor wise, but it is definitely an improvement, that's also what others are saying who have used both devices. If you remain underwhelmed I would for sure contact cs.

Without a screen you’ll get some snacks; I speak from experience. Other than that, yes screen, yes pretty big bowl, yes just load it up and use like OG stem.

I'm using the Grav with a rimless basket. There is one in the TM2 box.

Also, I'm using this pick tool from elev8 to push the basket from the other side (either to remove or to adjust it).

I've been using a 12mm bolt with the head sawn off for those sorts of adjustments.

I’m also looking to get a 4 terp pill HA when I see a color I love (refreshing the website 100 x per day). How do these baskets fit the HA stem? Any issues? I ask because if they fit perfect I can use those dimensions from the EBay link to find others potentially.

I just pack the stem and then slightly tamp it with the end of my pinky. I use a SCS grinder but any medium or coarse grind should be fine. The biggest thing IMO is that you need to inhale SLOW & DEEP.

I do something very similar. I use the TM bubbler the most and just dip and twist in the grinder. Then lightly tamp…sometimes some falls off.
When I use a stem I alternate between dip/twist and sipping

Edit: oh yeah, course cut brilliant cut grinder

Edit2: I don’t like too loose a pack. I guess I like a little draw resistance.

I nearly always use a j-hook and have found it cool enough to use with just a basket screen. But when my TM2 arrived I decided to try it with the titanium stem and titanium balls in the CU (instead of the nuts and washers) and I was really impressed with the smoothness and coolness of the vapor. I cleaned the CU yesterday but before reinstalling it I decided to try the basket screen alone to see how it compared. And I can say that I prefer the basket screen. The vapor was still high quality and not too hot and I just like the airflow more than with the CU.

I'll probably only use the CU when I'm out and about and don't want to carry a j-hook. The durability of the titanium stem means that I can probably retire my Hoppers, which had pretty much been relegated to visiting and travel.
