TinyMight / TM 2

Excuse a silly question from a newbie TM2 fan, but does the TM2 have pass through when charging? 🖖🏼
Remember though, it is not actually pass through charging, just use while charging (which is not as good for the battery, it needs a base charge to be able to power up, it is still running off the battery power, just while it is also trying to charge... True pass through power bypasses battery completely)

Is a wooden MP not unhygienic? Not like you can clean it with an alcohol wipe. Just seems like it will get nasty.
Fair point. I had assumed that you could in fact use an alcohol wipe…that the wood would be treated so as to permit it. Otherwise I guess I should get a ditanium

Edit: I asked high artisan and of course I shouldn’t use alcohol on the wood 😵‍💫

“You can wipe out the exterior with a damp paper towel, slightly soapy if needed.”

TM2 joined the family last weekend…

Edit: The OG TM in the middle was my backup and is roughly 1 month old. It has same build quality than TM2. Apart the wooden walnut body, obviously.
The unit on the right has a beautiful aged body. Even if the build quality is the lowest, I prefer it’s aged appearance.

Does anybody else find the TM2 does perform differently because of the bigger distance between chamber and coil? It seems somehow there’s more convection heating now.

doesn't the wood also hold some of the smell, I like the fact that I can clean my glass stems with a short iso soak
I'm waiting for a new drop of 4 terp pill stems myself and wanted to also get a walnut mouthpiece - but if this is the case and they might hold bacteria/can't fully clean it like you can with glass - I might have to pass on the MP and just get the stem which should more than suffice by itself.

I have just ordered a terp pill stem from High Artisan, didn't bother with the mouthpiece i don't like the look of it. I will just use the stem with basket screen.

I have been using some inexpensive 100mm 16mm OD, slightly thicker-walled, glass tubes, without the cooling units, and haven't felt the need to try anything else. I did however try the, 2/$10 shipped 3" GRAV octo-taster, and the OG TM 55mm, didn't like either. Ville threw in some extras when I ordered last year, a couple cooling stems, wpa's, and the bubbler, that I never used, will offer all as a package when I order a TM2.

Depends on the wood.
Not every wood is useable for every purpose, but oiled/waxed/closed surfaces can reflect a lot of dirt/smell.
Tropical woods tend to be better and not "dry out" so fast, or more retain the oil a fair amount of time.

Cleaning is necessary anyway. Just dry wipe it or use a dab of acetone.

By the way, are basket screens 100% required to be used with a terp pill stem? Can't just load herb in at the base of the stem?

I've vaped 4 stems now and honestly haven't felt the need to turn it up at all

I'm getting amazing flavor and huge dense clouds like this, not to mention that my battery level just went down to blue during my 4th pack.

First time using the TinyMight 2. Mine just went blue, does that indicate that I have 2/3 of battery life left? If so, how does,it affect the performance? And when is the best time to charge? Green, Blue, purple or can it still be used down to red? Also, I concur, I also have been using it 5.5 and for now I’m quite satisfied at this temp.

Definitely need basket screens
Yes sir, I need some basket screen too. Best place to purchase in the USA?

That's where i am at. I start at 4 and finish on 5.5/6. I have no urge to go higher I think this is the sweetspot.

battery discharge shouldn't really affect performance as it's a regulated device. When there is not enough power to heat at the temp you have set it will auto shutdown anyway.

I do setup 1 for my Grav 3” Taster (because the hole is too wide even for medium grind flower) and plan to do the same for my tnt wood stem when it arrives. I haven’t noticed flower falling into the bucket like this, so I see no reason to do method 2 which would require more messing with it while packing a bowl. I just scoop, tamp, and go.

Edit: I also don’t put a basket under the CU, though, so strictly speaking I haven’t done either exactly as drawn. The screen on the bottom of the CU is enough for me when I used the glass / ti stem, but those are already my least used.

This is also my first time with one so I'm not really sure if there is a best time to charge it or anything. I'm down to purple now though & can confirm that it's still pumping out clouds.

I asked this because when and turn on TM2 it vibrated. I noticed that it was taking a long time to vibrate and heat up. When I place the battery in the charger, there were only two bars and blinking on the third bar. The battery is the one that came with the TM and I fully charged it with an external charger before I use it.
