I bought one a few weeks ago and picked up a quartz coil too. It works well and I like the design of it. I just wish the lowest setting was actually a low setting. It definately creates clouds, but for my throat, it's a pretty hot hit. Maybe there's an easy way to feather the power button, but I haven't found it yet.

Totally agree. It's a shame otherwise it's a nice product.
What I do is: load small. As soon as flashing stops, draw gently. As I'm finishing the draw I switch the unit off. And I then swab immediately.
I've been pretty successful with this approach, much cooler and easy to clean.
Yes, we decided to adjust the low setting in order it still delivers cloudage (the beta was even hotter!) cause we think average users need this clouds but there is still a debate. The heater is power controlled in order to reach a target T° through the hit, in short it becomes hotter at the end of the hit. The @Chicken No Name solution is great: to stop before the hit become harsh by turning the unit off and to load baby dabs for 2/3 hits max (larger dabs end always with bad taste. I'm very glad you finally appreciated your Qomo @Chicken No Name , have fun!

I appreciate it very much. It's just I already have a :
Sequoia
DT v5
AVS M22
Coil king
As portables. And I'm a fairly heavy consumer.

I thought I would spread the joy a little. If I knew someone to give it to I would. Tbh I thought someone might want it for 30 e. I think it's a steal for that.....

For now it comes only with a ceramic cup atty although I still have to try the VM2 atty with the Qomo (the VM2 atty is quartz cup) or a quartz insert...
Pardon my ignorance in advance, but what does atty stand for? Atomizer? I am very new to the vape world (with the exception of volcano classic), and many of these abbreviations and acronyms go right over my head lol. Trying to decide which wax erig to buy, preferably by 4/20 for some sweet discounts hopefully. I'm torn between this, the Saionara, and Divine Tribe's V4. The whole sub-ohm battery bit has me feeling spooked lol. I'm not exactly the most technologically literate and it all sounds...very complicated. This Qomo device looks a lot beginner friendly, however it looks a lot less breakable/non-Elizabeth-friendly

Yes, atomizer.

Very simple to use and with the accessory crystal atty very easy to keep clean. The ceramic atty it comes with was a hassle to keep clean. It performs very well for a small device and can hit pretty hard.

bless you for educating me lol

l love how simple it sounds, but the more l think about it the more certain l am it isn't a good idea for me to get such a glass-y piece like the qomo. l am so freakishly clumsy. l'm constantly dropping things, misjudging distances and whacking things, etc. I would def go with the quartz crystal cup fo sho, not at all interested in ceramic due to its unknown health effects. Did some researching that scared me away from the stuff

The Qomo with a quartz atomizer is surprisingly good, a great way to get into concentrates as it is so simple and relatively cheap...those battery mod based devices get to be a pain...all those different setting for different devices gets old quick!
holy fuck, that spoiler tho xD so many devices, jeeze *reveres in awe*

l too was impressed that it was only 70 some bucks

NGL l'm like shitting myself with anxiety about how complicated the battery mods are starting to sound lol (I also use cannabis for anxiety, wooo) Be honest, with as ignorant as I am do you think I could actually figure out how to set up one of those contraptions? IDEK if my little POS chromebook is capable of that Arctic Fox program x_x gah

I'm guessing l already know the answer to this, but does there exist any quartz cup wax vape tanks that don't require that sub-ohm nonsense?

When you say "all those different setting for different devices gets old quick!" are you meaning like having to change all the settings when you change devices? Cuz if you are, that wouldn't be an issue for me...l'm on a rather fixed income, so need to keep it at one device.

I don't think you should be so worried here actually, not only is the glass replaceable, it is decently durable, being so tiny... The other glass pieces too, but I guess if you knocked over the whole little rig to a drop, it could break, but it's so cheap you could buy two of them honestly? I think this product might be the simplest way for you to try out instead of going down the tinkerer's rabbit hole :2c:

They are not complicated. If you can find a mod with artic fox pre installed it's even easier.
I just received a new mod, I had to install af and then configure the different profiles as I have several atomisers. Whilst it wasn't plug and play it was fairly simple.
Once you havr your profile(s) set up, there isn't any further config unless you change the bucket/coil, in which case you may need to lock to the new resistance.
I'm really impressed with the DT v5. Decent temp control, easy clean and with af,set your temp, double click and take your draw.

It may not be quite as easy as the q but it does offer more flexibility.

Good luck.

Edit. Noticed you are looking for quartz. The DT v5 is polished ceramic. The sequoia (Saoi plus) is an excellent choice. I prefer the sic bucket but the quartz is also v good. The qomo q is also good

Sorry for using such acronyms&abreviations, yes the Qomo was designed in order to be simple to use, although I can say it performs simply amazingly! If you are a beginner this is the best choice without to break the bank! As well, with the 420 sales you might be able to find for a few bucks less!

Thank you for the kinds words about the Qomo! This is means a lot for us since you are not the average user but experienced vaporists with a high requirement level!

Yes, the Xmax/Topgreen spirit is to offer affordable but quality device in order to help peoples to enter in the dry herb/concentrates vaping scene. Hope to see you posting here about your first qomo's feedback! Have fun!

I only have access to one strain of cannabis so many devices help with tolerance problems.
Be honest, with as ignorant as I am do you think I could actually figure out how to set up one of those contraptions?
I am sure you could...I ended up with a spread sheet (hand-drawn:lol:) with all my atomizers and their preferred settings...I would still opt for the Qomo though as it is so easy to use.

Wise words there!

Cheapest l could find it for was $18, not including shipping. For someone without an income (disabled), that could add up over time. l am like stupid clumsy xD

yeah, l'm constantly knocking shit over xD l definitely resonate with the simplicity bit, that sounds lovely. But even as scary as that rabbit hole sounds...l think/am hoping it might be the best long term solution for me. Might have to just suck it up and jump on in lol
They are not complicated. If you can find a mod with artic fox pre installed it's even easier.
tysm for easing my qualms with TC mods. That'd be so lit if l could find on with AF pre installed, omg. A fellow FC member was kind enough to offer me their mod/tank, l'm hoping that AF has already been installed or if not that they'll be sweet enough to do it for me xD
I just received a new mod, I had to install af and then configure the different profiles as I have several atomisers. Whilst it wasn't plug and play it was fairly simple.
Whew. Further reassurance
Once you havr your profile(s) set up, there isn't any further config unless you change the bucket/coil, in which case you may need to lock to the new resistance.
how does one do that? Do mods have a lock button?

af...air flow, yes? DT has some really nice looking products imo
Good luck.
bless you <3

ty for the suggestion, l was actually torn between the sequoia, DT V4, and qomo when l was on the fence about glass (no longer am, have decided me and glass aren't a good combo lol) ty for your feedback on it

it's ok xD yes, very affordable (:

oh wow, that's gotta be rough...l feel for you. l'm constantly switching up strains due to tolerance build up. l had no idea that diff devices could help with that issue!
I am sure you could...I ended up with a spread sheet (hand-drawn:lol:) with all my atomizers and their preferred settings...I would still opt for the Qomo though as it is so easy to use.
qomo's simplicity is appealing af, but after having given it some thought l think a sturdier tank might be a better long term solution. Hand drawn spread sheet ftw lmao! ty for the additional reassurance on the whole mod thing, l'm feeling better and better about it (:
Wise words there!
shit snacks is quite wise indeed B-)

Thanks for that, I've gone years thinking it meant "attachment"

Just shows to go ya, @Elizabeth, you're not so far 'behind' some if us! btw, I have a Saionara and a terp pen but I definitely want to pick up and experience one of these Qomo's, for ease of use and the vapor-quality reasons folks talk about here.
oops, thought l responded to this awhile ago but clearly did not lol

ty for your kind words!

how do you like your Sai? Do you use an attachment with it or just straight from le tank? A number of FC members have mentioned it can be a pretty harsh vape just by itself

The Qomo can be used with any standard 18mm male jointed mouthpiece or water tool, you could get a metal or wooden stem to fit...countless options other than the glass bubbler that comes with it.

That's a good point, there are 18 mm male titanium stems if direct path is okay, though there is still the glass around the atomizer?

Interesting. mine doesn't seem to get quite hot enough even at red setting. Maybe because the inside tube part of the glass is cracked (I emailed xmax/topgreencig about it with all my info/pics but never got a reply.

Great! How much do you like the Qomo Quartz buckets?
Finally took it for a ride with the quartz. Wow. Love the combo. Forgot just how good this device is and quartz is a lovely improvement.

Think I'll also be on the look out for some metal or at least less breakable pieces. Since this would be epic as a pocket dab rig with no glass breakage concerns. Maybe a good package for Xmax to look at putting together. Or I am sure vapeheads are already doing this DIY.

If this happened to get the nickname of PocketPeak, that'd be pretty sweet.

OK. Time to swab it out. Iso q-tip or not on those quartz bangers when still hot?
