I just received my XMax Qomo, and it sits charging now.
I have the ceramic coil that the unit comes with, and also the Quartz Coil.
I will say right off the bat, that this quartz coil is a very interesting design.
Original and not like any that I have seen yet.
I will post impressions after I have studied the device.

Video will take a while to put up... this computer's movie editing program is so very slow.
First impression was... that I should never pre-judge any tool.
I figured this was going to be a traditional atomizer with a water piece as a mouthpiece.
It is not.
The Qomo is well thought out, and a very fine tool.
The ceramic atomizer is what I like to see.. a nice cup, with as small of a seam visible as possible.
This ceramic cup is seamless. A total ceramic cup.
I chose to try the unit with the ingenious quartz atomizer 1st.
Pretty amazing design itself. The coil is flat, and wound like the burner of an electric stove.
This provides maximum surface heat, and this is totally encased in quartz.
Qomo is not just a refashioned dab pen... it is just as it is described.
Qomo is without a doubt a "Micro E Rig", whose function matches this description.
Surprised and impressed, video will come as fast as the system allows.

High praise indeed

This is making the wait for my 'prize' to arrive from China even harder. Come on international shipping.
The carrier we use isn't the faster but it avoids you'll have to pay tax&fees, it's usually 10-12 days max but some peoples were lucky and got it in a week or so. I hope you'll like it too, have a patient wait for fun

Thank you very much for the nice video @Vitolo ... and for the kinds words about the Qomo! I'm so glad you like it.

Although I want to say I'm not using so much wax in the bucket than you did, in fact I found the unit perfect for micro-dosing... and it doesn't seems to impact the clouds production so much. But everybody is different... Have fun!

I found the unit perfect for micro-dosing...
I did also. I micro-dosed many smaller dabs later.
I was just so anxious to try a pile of that Live Resin Sugar!!
I enjoyed using the Qomo very much, and a number of local friends after seeing the video asked me for details.
Thanks!

Thank you for spreading the words, hope this unit will encounter the success she deserves to get!
I just got my quartz in, and promptly tossed that used up ceramic one. Charging now......
... and I'm anxiously awaiting your verdict...

Quartz is definitely the way to go. Taste is about the same but it cleans up so much nicer so it'll last longer for sure. Feels like the difference between a cheap and quality device. Everyone should definitely upgrade, glad I bought 2!

Now if we can just do something about that bubbler. I find it still preforms best if i overfill it, but then I need the silicone piece to keep water out of my mouth. Tiny complaint but now my biggest one since we got the bucket sorted out.

Don't forget you can replace the OG bubbler with a simple 18mm male to whatever size you want GonG adapter then top with something like this (you would not need the Pax adapter but the bubblers on there will work),

True, but that loses its best feature, it's ability to fit in my pocket.

SEARCH for the treasure...
I bought it to try when it first came out. Don’t reach for it often, as I tend to use the CH DCup through a WP.
I didn’t find any difference with water, so I use it DRY, cools the same to me. Will be getting the quartz bucket just for fun.

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
I have one on the way to use for travel. I guess it's an older model because it has the ceramic cup. I was able to pick up an extra quartz cup too, so I can compare. Seemed a bit more reliable and cooler hits than the Puffco plus. I realize it's not as small, but it's small enough for me. I'll pick up a cartridge pen for when I need more discretion.
Was using the Qomo dry today, hits very smooth. Will probably continue to do so more often.
I see the convenience of using it dry. I've read that there is little difference in adding water.

For now the Qomo package only comes with the ceramic atty, the quartz atty is optionnal. Enjoy your Qomo!

Very good to see you here in the forum!
Thank you for the warm welcome! In fact I'm the same person who post under the PPN's username... I know it's not allowed to handle 2 accounts, I actually refrain myself to post under the PPN's account until the Staff take a decision.

And thank you for the nice review and kind words concerning the Qomo, I'm glad you appreciate it!

I bought one a few weeks ago and picked up a quartz coil too. It works well and I like the design of it. I just wish the lowest setting was actually a low setting. It definately creates clouds, but for my throat, it's a pretty hot hit. Maybe there's an easy way to feather the power button, but I haven't found it yet.

Totally agree. It's a shame otherwise it's a nice product.
What I do is: load small. As soon as flashing stops, draw gently. As I'm finishing the draw I switch the unit off. And I then swab immediately.
I've been pretty successful with this approach, much cooler and easy to clean.
