I really can't help you unfortunately as I'm not sure what I'm looking at and if I tell you how to put it together like mine it might not work. I will have to tell you to contact tinymight again and ask for assistance but I can tell you getting the glass back around the coil is tricky and there is no way you should have had to remove that to get the screen if yours was like mine
According to the directions you are correct. But as you can see, my unit is nothing like the one in the manual or the pictures. It was impossible to get the screen out. I suspect the screen got accidentally pushed through the metal in the glass tube. When I loosened the screw all of it came out. There is a short glass piece and a longer one with the metal collar.

It looks like you may have pushed the screen into the heater. I can't imagine another way the screen would have a hole burned into it.

I suspect that the worst case for you might be the "non warrenty" repair fee which I believe if around $70. Way better than a total loss. That is assuming you want it repaired. I certainly would as it is the best vape I have...
Not sure I will bother. Now that I see how this was constructed I am not sure I will bother. I think it is too fragile... and I was very careful with it. I usually use a WPA but I also have the long cooling stem with the internal spiks. It uses a basket screen and I suspect it does not fit well with the dosing capsule. Very disappointed that it would be sent out without updated directions.

It should not be this complicated. There are no repair vids or written instructions.

my assumption is the glass with the metal is for around the coil but I'm not sure what orientation it came out of the vape??
The metal collar was down. I think the short tube goes first but I suspect you have to unscrew the coil from the board. Really frustrating. I can usually figure these things out but not this one.

I looked at the pic again and noticed that there aren't two spacers , one of them is the ring for the screen. we can fix this
But I have no idea how to get the glass tubes in, the order of the other parts since the parts do not match the instructions.

Yeah I pissed on the rug...... so what
it is the same as mine I'm pretty sure even the metal collar for around the coil, long story short my coils glass slipped out of position when I had it dissembled to stain the wood but it Never slid all the way out so I didn't see it clearly, I think it had a metal collar too now that I'm thinking about it.

the glass with the metal goes first, slide it in onto of the coil. use a bamboo skewer to manipulate the loose end of the coil........ scratch that pull the metal collar a few millimetres out of the glass first, then slide it on to the coil use the skewer to manipulate the coil to fit in the collar. its delicate precise work but you a doctor so no sweat. it will take some time and attempts but it can be done. once you succeed in getting the coil in the collar press it down firmly so the collar slides back into position in the glass. the rest is cake

You say first the longer glass with metal collar first...then the second shorter glass. I have tried to find the inside of the coil but can't seem to seperate it. How about the other metal pieces. Can't believe there are not vids or instructions on this. I thought the metal color is for the screen.

Yeah I pissed on the rug...... so what
first the glass with the collar, fit the coil and press down into position. then the metal ring, not the ring that holds the screen. than the short glass then lid. you should be able to just drop the screen in after its assembled, than you know the rest

I'm sorry you are having such trouble, but I am fairly certain you absolutely should not have used a dosing capsule with the extra long spiked cooling stem, it would not fit into the rimmed basket screen so I think it would easily get pushed through the heater screen... I also wouldn't use one with the WPA, I mean I wouldn't use one ever anyway, but especially with those two stems. Hope you can get it up and running again!

No idea how to put it back together lol. It seems to be impossible to get either glass over the heating element. Is there some way to disconnect the heating element to do this?

BTW, they sell the dosing capsules. They should make it clear where and when you can use it. I was very careful not to push any of the stems in too far but obviously, something went awry. Now I am thinking I should have gotten the Storz and Bickel vape. Too much hassle/aggravation.

Yeah I pissed on the rug...... so what
the fact that the coil is still in the vape is what is keeping from unravelling. at the factory I assume the fit the coil to the board and put the glass on then screw that to the vape. but if you unscrew now it will spring apart

@andrew`124c41+ if you are just going to throw it away I'll take it off your hand and pay shipping and fix it myself to send to @Vitolo to help a low income person

It actually never occurred to me to use the capsules in anything else but the standard configuration. It also goes without saying that they should not protrude from anything you put them into – especially the latter *is* self explanatory in my opinion. This is not a matter of missing instructions or things being fragile.

Don't give up, though. I understand you're frustrated, but there's no need to condemn the device.

My issue is that the manual/instructions which explain how to clean and remove the screen are not for this unit. It was impossible to remove the screen per the directions. That is what I am upset about.

I wasn't aware that there was a different version of the TM mechanically other than some solder added to prevent the battery prong from collapsing and a new Temp dial. And of course the new circuit board and software. Most people who took it apart didn't disassemble the heater so that may be a mystery to most of us. I've never seen any directions other than the wood planks that came with. Everything I have learned about it I learned in this thread.

Looking at your pictures it appears that you pushed the screen into the heater somehow. I am surprised it continued working properly after that. I am sure that made it extremely hard to remove.

As @Grass Yes hinted, your unit is just the same as any other TM with the exception of that mesh holder ring being damaged and dislocated, apparently by pushing a protruding dosing capsule through it, thus shorting and damaging the coil (hence the scorched screen). I hope I don't come off as impolite, but I'd like to suggest to sleep a night to think about it with a clearer mind.

Appreciate your concern. I know what happened. I was just frustrated because I just got it in December.

I assume that the dosing capsules can only be used with the cooling unit as it is adjustable. I did try and be very careful but obviously I damaged the unit.

Not to worry because TM folks are going to fix it for me. Just sent me a shipping label so I am good.

Lucky I have a XMax V3 Pro as backup.

So, all is well.

Hey man, you should really really really use SixStringToker's concave screen mod. You can push your stem in as hard as you want.......it ain't goin' through. I have various sizes of stems and sometimes forget that some are easier to get in than others and end up violently slamming some in by accident. Stops dead cold everytime. In fact, I usually slam 'em in cause it's kinda fun.

If you DM me I can send you one if you'd like.

So my TM got held up in Germany customs over the weekend and it finally got here this morning. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet but the device feels solid, including the button. No fish smell either! However, I’m missing the glass bubbler, 3D stem, 3 in 1 WPA, extra 2 glass liners for the heater, extra pack of O-rings, and the the wooden instructions. The only things I got were the TM itself with battery in unit, the short stem with 2 SS cooling pieces that came in the unit, the extra 2 long stems I ordered, and the hemp bag.

I sent them an email this morning notifying them about the missing pieces. Hoping to hear back tomorrow. I’ll keep you guys posted on the turnaround time as well as my first impressions once I get to use it!

Anyone here exclusively use the TM natively that can speak to your experience?
Amazing for 26 months - every single time. I’m a big native user - short stock stem with hollow cooling unit (sans nuts & washers) - occasionally use an extra screen to hold flower and sometimes I don’t. Rarely do I use external cooling or filtration. I start at temp 4 and finish 5-5.5; i get decent clouds, nice flavor at the beginning, nice effects too. I used to go higher with the temps with the nuts & washers but I like it without. My TM rocks every single time. I have a second short stem and CU to swap when cleaning the other. Rinse and repeat - for 26 months, lol. I clean my stem & CU every 2-3 weeks. The TM is just awesome, what else can I say?:peace:

Every few battery exchanges I clean the threads of the battery compartment and cap by taking a wad of Blu-Tack, forcing it into the threads, and peeling it back off. You can see the dark lines of the oxidized aluminum stuck to the Blu-Tack. I learned this technique from using the Hopper, as the OGs used to tarnish with depressing frequency. When the io was developed I think they eliminated most of the oxidation by using gold-plated contacts and brass threads.
