TinyMight / TM 2

Hi everyone,
I'm doing a little detour here to show you 2/3 new leather jacket models to protect your TM during rides or others.
I talked a little bit about it with the TM boss and he was quite enthusiastic and for those who might be worried, he confirmed that there is nothing to worry about with the device. I'll send him a unit!
He had already told this to a jacket owner who showed it to him and asked if it could be a concern for the device because of the heat.

Can confirm, these cases are absolutely incredible. Received them yesterday, absolutely perfect craftsmanship. Would absolutely buy again!

After doing the triple clics with unit at lowest i get two green flashes (along with the short 5x vibrations) + 4 red slow flashes
Just in case, you have to do this exactly 5 times before turning your temp dial on a higher value and triple click again

Anyone hear any rumors that there's a TM update in the near future? Mostly interested in USB-C charging. Thanks!
I have heard that mentioned from other users, but not recently. I don't see a point to on board charging. But if they are going to be generous and give me on board charging, it should be USB-C.

UPDATE:

So i got my repaired TM, didnt try it yet but im almost sure i got the new board. here's why.
When i turn on the device before i had the 4 vibrations (new bat) and red lights only, now before the red lights i get a green one so i suppose now TM "tells" the calibration level/colour that the device is currently on? Im i assuming this correctly or is there other explanation?
The other difference i found is that the contact on the board is higher so now the bat cover needs a bit more of tightening but apart from that everything looks the same.
I asked to be informed on what was the problem, if i get it from TM i will leave comments.
Cheers

The test for a “new” board is to turn dial to minimum and click three times to start . You should get multicolored lights instead of just green and red. That’s directly from TM.

Thx for the info, i checked and its the new board. After testing it imo i feel i have more power but maybe was due to 3 weeks without it....

Is that now a shortcut into the Temp Adjust mode? Multi colored lights meant you were in that mode on the old board...

I've been using my Tinymight on glass via Sneaky Pete Master Adapter. Has anyone else used this and eventually moved to an all glass pathway?

Been thinking about finding someone to sell me a RBT stem. I was thinking the airflow would be better as opposed to the silicone adapter. Maybe it makes no difference. Apologies if it's been asked to death!
The Master Adapter is definitely good to have, but not something you want to use long term. The tiny hole is a bit restrictive, the adapter tends to pop off occasionally, and you can't just leave your TM connected to your piece. Its better to get a dedicated WPA imo. Both my WPAs are from TM. I use the 18mm for larger bowls, more drawn out sessions on a j hook. I use my 3 in 1 WPA as a one hitter on my bubbler.

I have a few different WPAs, but I have never tried the SP MA. @RogueGuy makes a great MP that works as a WPA. I also saw him using a new glass WPA on reddit. Perhaps it will be in the store by 4/20?

Agreed. I think most feel if a relatively high quality electronic device offers a charging port, it should be USB-C. It's been available for a long time now.

What's the consensus best mouthpiece to use that doesn't require a cooling unit and is somewhat portable?

My Good Vibes Boro stem is my favorite cooling stem. I did just order some beta-test stems from @Vlad the Inhaler which I am expecting to be great.

These are both glass, but the small ones will fit in my little camera case I use for travel. And they fit in my jacket as well as the TM-supplied stem.

Mighty, Air1.5/Max/Go, Tinymight, Dynavap, Fury2
well I took the shim back out, popped in another vtc6 fresh off the charger and tried my best to get into calibration to try setting 3 (no success, still on +2) set it to 10. 1 huge hit followed by 2 increasingly small hits and it was gone. Nice dark brown puck. Weird worked good that time, for an original unit (ordered 2020)

Ya know, everyone is different on what they like, but this is the first piece of glass that has allowed me to comfortably take my TM out of the house without a water piece...

I really do like it...

Sapphire pearls held in place with screens will suck up a lot of heat, even in the shorter stem. I still use the CU housing, but emptied it of all the screws and washers and just fill them up with various cooling balls.

I've tried quartz balls in a short stem and it didn't work as well as I would have liked. Maybe I needed a longer stem or balls of a different material...

I think the best option is sapphire. A close second, but much cheaper option is stainless steel balls. I haven't tried ruby but maybe it's in between?

Quartz balls were ok imo. They just don't grab as much heat as other options.

Thanks, yeah I've seen others mention Rogues' MP's. I've never been lucky enough to actually see it in stock though. I'll just continue to use the master adapter until it bothers me enough. I think I mostly get bothered by knowing the MA isn't supportive enough to hold the TM in a bowl without holding the device.

Is there anywhere I can buy a replacement short stem besides from tinymight themselves? I'm trying to find one without having to order from Finland

If you get the proper o-rings to fit, the ditanium mouthpiece will fit into a TM stem the same way, give you a 14 mm Ti taper

I'm not sure. I'd look through the thread. I sort of remember someone finding tubes that fit.
