Interesting. In the US and am looking to pick this vape up. Is this website trustworthy? Haven't heard of them before but am considering going for it if they ship to the states.

Are they planning on updates before releasing to US retailers or is it likely releasing the way it currently is?
Debating if I will wait or try to find a website that will ship to the US.
Vape definitely has me hyped.

Look above, another member just received theirs from them... So you can email them maybe to ask and find out but there's no way to know lol who knows about US retailers yet

The first US retailer is going to do well, @PPN said we should be able to order directly soon...that was a while back!
I want Puffitup to stock it and do one of their teardowns so I can see what that heater looks like from above.
I still do not see myself using the on-demand even if it gets a buzz when at temp. Easier to have the unit in a pocket, click 3 times for on, wait until unit vibrates in pocket, remove and hit then turn off with 3x clicks while taking my last draw then back in the pocket for next time.
I would get cramps from trying to hold down the fire button continuously after a while.
Handy to have the feature for those that want it I suppose but I do not feel left out by not having a buzz when reaching temp in 'Demand' mode as I have it in my hand watching it anyway. :2c:

for those who use the capsules (Fury 2 / edge): how do you fill them? I have received 3 capsules and I find the session is shorter and it seems that they take less advantage of the material than in a native way.
With capsules I get, at most, 4 good puffs. In a native way I can continue to extract, taking more advantage of the grass

Welcome to the less than optimal world of capsule vaping. Reducing the oven size usually decreases all the good things about a vape except keeping the oven a bit cleaner...a must for vapes with aluminium or other crappy material the manufacturer is cheaping out on for their ovens.

It is logical that by reducing the capacity of the bowl the session becomes shorter. But in this case it is exaggerated.
I think it is cause of the capsule does not fit fairly, which means that at a certain point in the session the air passes around the capsule.
I say this because fitting the vapcap into the silicone piece seems to work fine, I guess it's because the air has no choice but to go through the vapcap bowl.
Maybe a capstone capsules works better since they fit into the silicone part.
I need to try fury caps with an oring or something to fit It thick

I suppose the unbleached cotton for ejuice works well and don't carry that nasty taste you have in the cotton found in every shop (even bio and unflavoured) but, from my understanding, hemps fibers are costless, I got a big pack for a few bucks only in the LCV french retailer's online shop! Too bad it's not easy to get in the US since DynaVap doesn't sell that item anymore, although you can probably find a supplier somewhere... good luck!
The cotton is inert and prevents making a mess of the bowl screen and mp using very thin layers, but it’s a pain to cut and fit it in, works good though especially in Dynavaps. I’ve looked all over for unbleached hemp fiber and found only industrial hemp fiber used for stuffing pillows which I doubt would be usable. I’ve been looking at leather punch sets to use to punch out circles of cotton to make it more convenient. I might even give making my own hemp fiber a try.

Okay it's landed. And I am impressed.

The TM was making me cough like crazy last night. I have never coughed once on v3 pro. The vapor is smooth, however the v3 has no problem pumping the clouds.

The vapor quality is about the same as the TM, definitely better than my edge, not as good as my P80.

On demand mode, seems hotter? People here were complaing how poor on demand is. Mine seems pokey in on demand.

All of this for <£100. Wow

Very nice! I ordered after all, we'll see how fast they arrive to Cali, maybe next week!

BTW your use of the word pokey was funny to me, language barriers, pokey seems to imply it is slow, as in slowpoke, but it seems like you're trying to say punchy, strong punch to the face, strong poke to the face?

that sounds great. i have been silently waiting for a vapor comparison to things i know, like the tm, which is a very good benchmark to meet. i am sure more comparison threads are going to pop up. good to hear too that @Shit Snacks has one on the way as well. not sure there are many people with as broad a selection of vapes to compare it to, looking forward to hearing how this stacks up. i think (?) i filled my portable requirements for a while, but this still looks great to me, such an attractive price point too, and sth i would never worry about throwing in bag. which can be a factor sometimes?

There would be a lot more vapor comparisons here if PPN hadn't expressly requested there not be. Might be good to have a thread in the ASK forum that goes to town on this subject.

I agree with everything I see here regarding vapor quality and coolness. Excellent flavor and the cooling mp works better than it has any right to. Would be nice to see the vape go to 230C, so you could turn it way up for the end of a bowl/pod, but it works well enough as is.

oh yes sure, i think there actually is a rule not to do comparisons in device-dedicated threads - which is understandable. still, i appreciated the reference to the tm, just b/c i know it & gives me a frame of reference. but explicitly not asking for more here. i am sure these comparison threads will come along, there already is one on the way that i noticed. the more people that get this device, the more depth will come to this or any comparison thread, looking forward to it, it seems such a promising vaporiser.

How are people cleaning that mouthpiece? Are you using ISO on it? I know people aren’t using iso on the silicone gasket thing that holds the upper screen, but I’m curious about the mouthpiece. I’m thinking about buying 2 now haha.

I think this unit is going to be pretty damn popular. I truly enjoy using it. Pretty much everything about the design is well done.

The temp range is wide and consistent. It is very draw-agnostic for a convection vape. Flavor is as good as I've ever had in a plastic vape. I feel it beats the Vleaf Go in features, smoothness, battery life, consistency, and overall enjoyability. Beats the Furys/etc too, IMO. Great little vape.

Just look at it go through water from a dead-cold start!

@PPN was just following the rules, a thread asking for comparisons to other vapes would be handy for some for sure!
I have been so crook with the normal flu for the last week that I could not use my V3 as normal, not able to take 10+ second draws but managed some good vapor with fast successive cigar type mouth-pulls, like trying to get a joint going that has almost gone out. I like the versatility of this little vape...it just keeps getting better the longer I own it.

Oh I wasn't taking shots at @PPN at all, just stating facts related to their request. Does seem like a comparison to familiar vapes is a constructive and desired conversation, and usually comes up with any new vape. The V3 Pro has a lot of features that make it competitive with a wide range of vaporizers, and I'd gladly add my own experience to that discussion.

While I would absolutely buy a 14mm/18mm adapter, because @Improvaper has shown some impressive milk shots, I haven't felt the need to diy it. The V3P really does shine in it's compact all in one nature. Usually you have to trade off size for cool vapor, especially with convection and long hits. I'm really enjoying knowing I can pick up this tiny device and get cool rips in 15 seconds, without uncomfortable vapor or messing with attachments. That it fits a huge swappable 18650 into this equation is even better.

I know that this being called a "budget" vape, something that you could lose or damage without worry, but I've become quite fond of it. It's one of three vapes that I use these days, and the other is also by XMAX. Starting to see why they have such a devoted fandom.

Yeah, I wouldn't get this to strictly run through water. It handles it well, but it's not its forte by any means. I demo through water just to show heater power, not to suggest optimal use.

A unit with this short and simple a vapor path with smooth, comfortable vapor is pretty rare. It totally begs to be pocketed and carried around. I truly *enjoy* and look forward to using it. With my options, I feel that's impressive, honeymoon notwithstanding.

I know I shouldn't really be asking this here but I'm going to anyway as it's not performance based.

I'm thinking of buying one if these for my missus. She is used to my potv one, but has come to hate the draw restriction, and it's hardly used at all these days. Is the v3 less restrictive than the one? I know they aren't the same style of vape, this question is only about the restriction. TIA
Yes the V3Pro offers a large airflow since it's full convection, I can't compare to the One but I had a Fury and it seems the V3Pro to be better about that topic.
I only just figured this out the other day, and it's why I had such a Bad Time with on demand at first. There is no haptic in on demand, so you have to watch the screen. I wish it had a brief haptic pulse when at temp in on demand.
Yes when you keep the button pressed the heater will be powered on for 30s and will shutt off even keeping your finger on the button, just release and press again.
Any videos of someone doing an on demand hit? What’s the real world heat up time for vapor to form?
I noticed an @Improvaper 's video in Reddit VaporEnts and r/XmaxVape (I cross-posted the video by myself ;), thank you man!)
I bought a V3 on la centrale (so It is a katalizer Vap) and It have haptic function on demand. Is It an add on?
Yes the VAP (Katalyzer's version of the V3Pro) was the first to get that feature, not 100% certain but I believe all units will have this feature in the future.
since we're talking, could the V3Pro work as a convection heater for a dynavap? like a portable female WS ...
I think not since it's convection, only conduction based bowls can work as a VapCap's heater, sorry.
It vibrates in On Demand mode when it reaches temp as you hold the button?! Does anyone else here see that? Mine does not. @PPN
Yes it's a "special" Katalyzer's brand feature! Although you can expect to see it widely available soon.
@LesPlenty @Petetbay @maremaresing
Mine (french version) vibrates when you turn It on, off, when it reaches the temp on session and on demand and when It shut down automatically
I know it's not easy to get one in the US, but this vape has been widely available everywhere else for quite some time now.
So, I think the thread could be moved from the upcoming and unreleased section.

On a side note, I would love to get one for out and about, but the kanthal heater is keeping me from buying it.
I noticed you dislike Kanthal, I'll report and will suggest Stainless steel wires. Is stainless steel doesn't take longer to heat up? And is it not needing more power to heat up?
Oh, true, didnt remenber It xdd
So you were talking about flavour? I didnt notice any strange flavour, but, since i didnt try the glow, i can't tell
I have a Glow V3 and I haven't replied the coil, taste is very good for me, both for the V3Pro and the Glow!
No, it's not about the flavour. I've said it before in another thread.
The thing is I don't like the feeling I get in my mouth when I use kanthal coils.
Ok, I got it, thank you for sharing your issue with Kanthal, we will consider that!
Some people can get irritated by Kanthal, S/S or peanut butter...it is pretty rare for anyone to have a reaction to any of them though...the Vapbong also uses Kanthel and I have not heard any complaints there. :2c:
At least you know it is not for you @Franco...maybe the French version peeps could get a S/S heater (they like their Inox) heater version to differentiate their model even more rather than just haptic feedback changes?
Thank you for sharing your insightfull knowledges, I'll share everything with the team in order to take a decision about wire's metal choice. It's good to know the famous VapBong use the same wires!
The one I bought for my missus is here now! It came from recvapes.co.uk. I can confirm that this one does indeed vibrate when it reaches temp in on demand mode.

First impressions are very good! I've had a quick bowl from it and it's impressively tasty and can finish a load a lot faster than I was expecting. I was hoping the airflow would have been a more open, but its not a deal breaker. The cooling unit is very nice and the flavour is much better than any other cheap Chinese vape I've tried. It also feels very well built and solid in the hand. Good job xmax!
Ohoh, it looks like that vibrating feature to be added to the last V3Pro features, this is how customer's feedback & TopGreen company stay tune works together! Thank you for the kinds words!
It easy to use? Any special technique or basically anyone can get away with hitting it? And how bad would you say the airflow is?
Never Convection was so easy to use (I exagerate a bit, some others brands like TM and TKV did some good steps away in this direction), with the V3Pro only throw a pinch or two in the bowl without to pack it down, re-cap, power the unit on and wait for heat up (12-16s) before to take draws (long and slow on the beginning and you can pull harder on the end), enjoy the flavor, relief and the smooth and dense vapor, that's all!
Nice! Looks like they have 20% off sale today, European date writing makes today 710 again! (that is the code)

I was going to wait, topgreen have sent me test units in the past, I was one of the early discoverers here of the original xmax V2 and helped give them the feedback to create the pro way back when... However looking at this website even shipping from the UK, with the sale, it is just under $125 shipped to the US, and actually it is only $220 shipped if ordering two... Hmmm
I put your name on the list, maybe they are waiting for the US release...
Are they planning on updates before releasing to US retailers or is it likely releasing the way it currently is?
Debating if I will wait or try to find a website that will ship to the US.
Vape definitely has me hyped.
Thank you for the interest, I think you got it about the US release delay, we want to be sure the device to be perfect before the US release. All in all we are pretty happy of the main feedback we received and only small updates may be done. I think there is also others reasons for the US release delay...
The first US retailer is going to do well, @PPN said we should be able to order directly soon...that was a while back!
I agree but it may be an issue since everybody want to be the first! About the link still no news, wait for Monday!
for those who use the capsules (Fury 2 / edge): how do you fill them?
Yes it's how capsules works, the counterpart of the ease of use is a thinner vapor and less hits.
The cotton I tried was natural and unflavoured but it gave me a taste although I think the expensive high quality cotton for ecig gear to be better! You can get the fibers from your stems soaking your stems in water, best is to use moving water like a river but you can only change water 2/3 times per day until everything dissolve in water... except the fibers (now it's prohibited to do that in a river, by the past it was an important pollution's cause of the rivers).
Okay it's landed. And I am impressed.
Thank you for the amazing feedback you gave to our V3Pro, considering you are not an easy guy to satisfy I take your kinds words for gold!
Very nice! I ordered after all, we'll see how fast they arrive to Cali, maybe next week!
Thank you for taking the plunge! Let us to know how the water is  I'm very interested to know your impression, I consider your opinions a lot!

Thank you for your insightfull experimented feedback, as well I appreciate a lot the video you posted, a good video clip was missing, you did it, thank you again!

Have fun, Everybody, and thank you for the amazing welcome you gave to the V3Pro, I still can't believe it!
