I know it's not easy to get one in the US, but this vape has been widely available everywhere else for quite some time now.
So, I think the thread could be moved from the upcoming and unreleased section.
On a side note, I would love to get one for out and about, but the kanthal heater is keeping me from buying it.

I think no one here talked about kanthal on the heater, we know the bowl is SS
Anyway, the Kanthal is not going to produce any harmful toxins unless it has been heated up to its melting point or higher, wich is 1400°C.
It is tipically use in food ovens and eliquids resistances.

I know this material should be pretty safe, but I've already tried kanthal coils in my Glow18 and didn't like it.

No, it's not about the flavour. I've said it before in another thread.
The thing is I don't like the feeling I get in my mouth when I use kanthal coils.
I've tried several times, I've switched to new coils, but the feeling I get is the same.
Since I don't get this feeling whrn I use SS., I'm assuming the problem is the kanthal wire.
Again, I'm no expert, and I know for a fact that many people use and enjoy kanthal coils. They're just not my thing.
Some people can get irritated by Kanthal, S/S or peanut butter...it is pretty rare for anyone to have a reaction to any of them though...the Vapbong also uses Kanthel and I have not heard any complaints there.
At least you know it is not for you @Franco...maybe the French version peeps could get a S/S heater (they like their Inox) heater version to differentiate their model even more rather than just haptic feedback changes?

It's probably better to ask LCV but I doubt they changed anything except the haptic feedback.

I am really interested in grabbing this one for the GF. she loves convection and on demand but doesn’t like using my firefly. This seems like a great unit for her. Can’t wait to hear what others have to say about this unit such as flavor, ease of use, stirring, hotness, etc.

The one I bought for my missus is here now! It came from recvapes.co.uk. I can confirm that this one does indeed vibrate when it reaches temp in on demand mode.
First impressions are very good! I've had a quick bowl from it and it's impressively tasty and can finish a load a lot faster than I was expecting. I was hoping the airflow would have been a more open, but its not a deal breaker. The cooling unit is very nice and the flavour is much better than any other cheap Chinese vape I've tried. It also feels very well built and solid in the hand. Good job xmax!

Very! No special technique, just a steady draw that the restriction helps to make easy. It's not bad, but I'm just used to wide open vapes. It's just as @LesPlenty wrote when I asked... About half the resistance of a Fury2 or potv one. It's a world of difference honestly, I just hoped for a bit more open.

fair enough. Looking for an on demand for my gf and she doesn’t like using my firefly 2+for the technique. She can use it. But doesn’t like how it’s never consistent for her. And would be buying this one for her. She’s had some experience using my conduction vapes but does prefer the on demand convection.

It's dead simple to use. You don't even have to pay attention to get good hits, and the dosing caps restrict it enough to get some gains (at the cost of airflow).

However looking at this website even shipping from the UK, with the sale, it is just under $125 shipped to the US, and actually it is only $220 shipped if ordering two... Hmmm

It's about 1.5 snickers bars long and the same thickness. Not as big as it looks in pictures, but not tiny. Very comfortable to use.
Interesting. In the US and am looking to pick this vape up. Is this website trustworthy? Haven't heard of them before but am considering going for it if they ship to the states.
Are they planning on updates before releasing to US retailers or is it likely releasing the way it currently is?
Debating if I will wait or try to find a website that will ship to the US.
Vape definitely has me hyped.
