There is something inspiring about the ISpire and I think I would be a customer if I didn't already have 2 Pipes IHs. The temp control is very attractive as I think a slower heat up may be a good thing.Speaking of ash-catchers and keeping in spirit with the thread, I busted out the old $15 5-arm (x 3-slit) tree perc ash-catcher/j-hook "bubbler"... smooooth (a little too smooth, in fact):

3 colorful caps of Cornbread and 3 uniform shades of brown... which one do you prefer? It's all within your control and couldn't be easier. Pass-through USB-C 3.0 amp charging is a beautiful thing (with a 6' cord)...!
Edit: and here's the entire 11 "man" crew ready to go:

Most paid out of pocket piece...? The $88.60 Goo Roo Glass 'Welded Tater Tot' was $2.60 more than their '3-piece bubbler with removable downstem".
Not a problem I have experienced. I can't help but wonder of your crimp has opened up some and your tip is preventing your click, tho I imagine you have tried this with more than one cap. The switch on the PSM does take a little more pressure than it could. It's a mystery...I hate that I NEVER use my Portside mini... something about it dulls my click and makes it not noticeable
I have a SourceVapes Alpine '21 and a Pipes HotShot... the iSpire is a different animal... different from any other IH I've seen. And remember, this thing was never designed to run a dynavap, not in the slightest... they had absolutely no clue. There is something inspiring about the ISpire and I think I would be a customer if I didn't already have 2 Pipes IHs. It looks like you have thrown a M to M on your GooRoo 3 piece so that you could use that fat mouthpiece stem with it. While I love the GooRoo mouthpiece, I often use a different MP as well to get a little further away from the piece for a better view. My 2 GooRoo pieces are also the most expensive pieces I have other than a recycler that I rarely use.
Second that emotion. I'm getting really tired of folks talking like all IHs are created equal. Some have much more aggressive heating profiles than others. And barring finding a sweet spot that works great for you in a non-adjustable model (the HotSpot for me hits that perfect sweet spot; @Pipes has real expertise here and it shows), it is nice to have adjustability options, especially those on the fly (so not adding lil discs as spacers). So the Wand offers this, as does the currently-on-hiatus Flite and other PWM models from Fluxer.just because it's an IH, it does not make it the same or even similar, as anything else on the market.
I have one, @LesPlenty, and I love the cyclone, but I don't use it. It is a hard pull, and while it looks cool, I can't see it, and I gave up on hunting down M-G demanding an audience to tell me how awesome it is. "Love the cyclone " is conceptual, more than anything. I desperately wanted that piece, finally got it ( half off, whoo!), used it, shelved it. For actual use, it's like sucking up a grapefruit through a straw. You really have to get a good pull to move that water.I almost purchased one of the above a while back until I read all the negative reviews on it...do you actually own and use it @oldfool ?
I know some of you have been looking at these, as I have for awhile now... I still wouldn't call it "cheap".... but 40% off certainly makes it cheaper...:

Good thing you (I) have to spend $25 to get free shipping, cuz paying $7.99 extra for being $3 under, ain't gonna happen...
I want this!

Apparently, I "won" my dispute over the rattle-less "26cm Tall Diffusion Pump Bubbler", even tho they can't view imgur vids... which is kinda creepy. I guess the pics were good enough... We went back and forth a few times and Jane tried to say that everyone asks to make the hole smaller... I just told her it's sealed and then filed a dispute (I didn't want to argue anymore, it was obvious) and they immediately agreed to a replacement. Honestly, I could've won a couple of other disputes but I never bothered and really didn't want the sellers to lose $, so I figured out a way to live with it, but this was too much.... what's the point of putting a bead there if it doesn't friggin' DO anything...? Sorry, but zero QC is unacceptable...
Hopefully the new one is a little more holey.
Nice, easy to do before you release the payment, I already released the payment with mine so I feel like there's nothing to do unfortunately... I feel like the replacement could also be hole less so I am curious what you receive, I have resigned myself to just having the pump without the rattle, but yeah kind of shitty... Making the hole smaller, so small that they got rid of it entirely?? Jane reply to me about the black marks from the welding too, and offered me the 5% off next time since I missed out on the sale, but yeah I feel like there's no point in me telling her that mine is missing the hole now as well...
Still worth a try, might get lucky?
Hadn't noticed, but you are correct, it's thinner than most of my other China glass.I have the Steven version of this, just the main can with the circ perc, and a similar mouthpiece, that I never liked because the flaring is so big and it's quite thin, packed away somewhere...
I guess you have a lot of water in it? I never experienced the leaking you described
I was using too much water, doubly so with the ash catcher. It still leaks when water gets in the mouthpiece, but it's nothing a hand-towel base doesn't solve. That is what I was thinking, just enough to cover the perc (sometimes a little more if the gear is rough on the throat) for me.
I am usually using mine with a hydrotube, or an alternative mouthpiece... I actually posted a few modular pieces recently, like this and this and a lot of people here rely on the FC-UFO... Any other ash catcher can be added to what you have already too, other hydrotubes and cooling mouthpieces, the options are endless!
I would think if the measurements line-up, those downstems should be interchangeable with ours.I have an unbranded one of those, the headshow perc (or is it a showerhead or a flowerhead?) is good but the Matrix isn't very good so I wondered if the Sheldon Black downstems https://sheldonblack.com/collections/all/downstem
Or the 29mm Elev8 downstem https://www.elev8glassgallery.com/downstem-19mm-female-to-29mm-male-showerhead/
are compatible to replace the matrix?
Altho the easiest choice is to just buy another headshow one from Popularglass or a standard slotted one from dhgate or aomewhere.
It's my primary piece right now. It's a great daily driver if you're particular about clean glass. My rattle can (which has working function) is more fun to use, but it's a pain to keep spotless.I like this, is it any good?
I'm a little surprised, but glad they took care of it. Maybe she had a look in here and saw how prodigiously you post...So I decided to reach out after all

That certainly never hurts, especially when you need something. I know many don't like Steven's stuff that much but I have generally been happy with them. But I also am not a perfectionist and will usually accept some flaws that don't effect performance.I suppose I may have built up a pretty good relationship with them

I love their tendency to use heavy glass so it was a surprise when you mentioned that their multipart piece was so thin.
My Yingmin5 Rattlecan came with a rattle that didn't, and another user encouraged me to get a replacement which I did.
When I become COLAS free, will I finally b-cool like a hippie from 1963?Likewise, the FC-Mod is the only other piece I have from them, but I was very satisfied especially since they let me buy it without the ash catcher and only the circ perc shower head... Also just to clarify, it is only the mouthpiece on that one that is thin glass, the rest is super thick, and I hate the mouthpiece for other reasons lol
Ah nice, yeah if they had the gooseneck mouthpiece I may have gone with them honestly, but both are solid shops to me!
