I love the way vaping emphasizes the upside of a cannabis buzz, delivering the happy, euphoric, creative, and energetic phases of the experience, without so much of the stupefying effects. Now, I have absolutely no scientific basis for this belief, but I think those negative effects remain unextracted. For that reason, I rarely eat ABV--that's where the couchlock lives.

DV content: I haven't turned on my desktop in two days--for the first time in years--because I've been enjoying my Simrell and Fluxer so much.

This is definitely true if you tend to stay around the lower vaporization temperatures! It keeps the high energetic and uplifting as opposed to stoney.

2200 pages in and still going strong!

I think dosage matters a lot in how it hits you too, and so does how tired you already are.

I had a micro dose of a Sativa in a VapCap yesterday and it didn’t make me noticeably tired at all even though it was at a mid-high temp.

This morning I had a much larger dose of the same stuff in the FW7 at ~320 degrees and I pretty quickly fell asleep for a few more hours.

I think it was the large load and the fact that I was already a bit tired that made the difference.

Edit: Fixed typo.

How exactly does one eat AVB?

I think the word "eat" is what's throwing me off here. @Chose driz did you put it IN something?
... other than your mouth.
No just put it in my mouth and washed it down with a beer
Not very pretty but it works woke up totally baked and was still buzzing until about seven pm

I like to make tea with abv, but I’m a lightweight
Put a little coconut butter in there and you good to go 😳

I'm finding the Assassin's vapour noticeably warmer than an M or shell shock (hot actually), and it's irritating my throat. It's using a standard condensor borrowed from a 19M, pushed in about 3mm with about 4mm gap at the tip end. It can be used with a WP, of course, but I often prefer to use it without one. Will adjusting the condensor a few mm help or does it need a longer one?

have you tried it with the airport all the way open? (I am using mine only with water pieces, and with a 3 ring condenser; the top ring prevents any air through the airport.)

The name is a “dead” giveaway as to the character of the Assassin. It is designed to be aggressive.

Restrict the airflow. Perhaps a combo of an older (restrictive) SS tip/low temp cap? Sipping, rather than whaling it

Might help. ETC.

Experimentation can be productive. Please report your findings.

Or, if you dont like the signature punch that comes with the “Assassin”, perhaps gift/swap it to/with someone who likes

After using omni XL for a week, I am very impressed especially with the taste and effectiveness of it. Awaiting the vortex add on. I have 2 questions
1. Can I use pure ethyl alcohol to clean it? (Not submerge)
2. All these mods and variations are based on the same size cap and tip? Is there a way to load more?

The DDave Omega Wand landed. I went with the Ti version. I’m pleased. This will probably replace a few stems/wpa. The Omegas 14mm joint sits a bit deeper than a standard 14mm male joint normally would but is fitting my pieces just fine. DDave said this was done so it can be used in a stash. It fits an XL condenser with a spinning mouthpiece very nice but it seemed unnecessary. I’m going to use it with no condenser, Ti tip, and a hot 2018 cap. Here it is lounging with some of my NV gear.8DF6B1E2-166E-44D8-ACA2-D4C544B9825E.jpeg

Looked at this on his site, the LENGTH is not listed?

thanks, so you submerge it I suppose from the color change?
Yes, but not a long dunk. Short immersion, then I use a Q-tip to further clean. I don’t care about saving every bit of reclaim, I care more about the better flavor of clean pieces.

On a different tack, let me sing the praises of a dynavap through a dry bubbler (or “anhydrous glass” as folks called it around these parts back in the day...)

Sort of but the hit isn't as effective wide open. I'll give it another try though. Should I try adding a third condenser ring?

Hitting hard doesn't necessarily mean hitting hot though, does it? The Shell Shock's name is similarly 'deadly' but cools the vapour quite well.

Maybe @FlyingLow could advise. He uses a OG glass condenser, IIRC

I am actually think my condenser is steel... it was from my way old Ti Glassy, but mine is a metal condenser.

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
Dynavaps give me the best flavor with my concentrates. In part, I think it has to do with vape technique.

With most other vapes, I draw vapor directly into my lungs. In contrast, I use the mouthpull method with my DV's and I think this allows the vapor to spend a little more time hitting the taste buds and nasal passage and giving me a lot of noticeable flavor. I can also notice the drop off of flavor after the second or third hit as the terps toast away, but that is expected.

I enjoy taking a small glob of resin and dropping it in a little jar of cbd isolate powder. The isolate dusts the dab like an old fashioned gumdrop. Wrap that in cotton and you have a balanced hit with the resin terps shining through. The first few hits taste like candy. I haven't vaped flower in quite a while now. Concentrates are a much cleaner experience IMHO. There is less mess, less odor, and less little bits of abv shit flying around. You don't have to blast your dabs all at once. Using a vapcap, you can sip vapor at your own speed. YMMV
