SEARCH for the treasure...
I think one could see the flush cap pretty much as a default. If the draw seems too tight, one might want to play with the airport a bit. Because a fully closed airport during an entire hit is actually not a default anyway.

I’ve watched that video. Thanks for confirming the DV was designed to use with the cap flush to the tip. I like to try products in their default, intended usage first. Then of course, come here and see and learn how real world users modify the product to their own preferences. They journey for knowledge, is the fun part, and then sharing it with others, once you test it of course.....

Gonna purchase a new M as they’re going on sale and already absurdly cheap! Question, which lighter do you guys prefer, a single flame torch or multi?

This year’s 4/20 purchases. Stem is by @RogueGuy, is more purplish- blue with shiny purple flecks than my camera could capture

Got my new 2020 M! my first dynavap and so excited!
however already ran in to my first issue if anyone could shed some light for me :
Using the micro dose bowl, I’m not hearing any clicks at all when hearing in the middle. Move towards the end towards the bottom it does click twice but there is little to no vapor.
30seconds later I get the cool down click.
Any ideas?
I have not tried the bigger bowl as of yet so it could just be the fact I’m using the micro dose?
Also did find it a pain to place the CCD in the correct slot.

I too had an impossible time getting the ccd into the 50% slot on the 20m. Not even sure if there is a slot, mine acts more like a groove that sticks out. I left my ccd in the 50% position kind of convexed in the bowl so it won't push down. But i spent 20 min and could never get it to relax into any slot. It just flung out everytime i got it close. Any pointers?

exactly the same with me. to me there looks like a groove it should go in to.
regardless mine is in and staying out which is excellent but I’m not hearing the clicks when I’m heating. Following the videos on this one and heating in the middle but just nothing.
Literally have to heat just above the magnet and even then there is not smoke. The herb material is changing colour but ever so lightly.

How long are you torching in each spot (tip, middle, diiger outer end) before you hear a click?

Tip 5 seconds and hear a small click then right away a louder click and once it’s all cool a cool down click.
Middle and digger outer about 10-12 seconds however no clicks at all here.

If you continue to heat past 12 seconds do you combust? I'm guessing no if your herb isn't getting roasted. You watched a video so you're spinning the VapCap right? Yeah I know, stupid question.

It’s not a stupid question at all I watched about 30 videos and even the respect the click by dynavap to see exactly the best place to place the torch lighter.
Well the instructions scared me there saying if you keep it lit you can damage the cap.
Don’t get me wrong even if there is no click I can taste the herbs and it is cooking but at little to no temp.
Just not seeing the results everyone else is purely because I’m not getting any clicks.

only towards the magnet end I hear a click and it’s really low temp wise with a brief whispy cloud if you look closely. Yes it’s in micro dose but still thought would show but more.

I wonder if there's something up with your cap. There are the odd ones that are defective but even if that was the issue then your flower should be combusting eventually. I don't have the new captive cap but with it fitting as loosely as some have reported maybe that's where heat is being lost. How tight does your cap fit?

I heat the 2020M for longer than 20 seconds when using a single torch lighter with a small flame. It takes a while before it clicks. My suggestion is that you keep heating the cap until it clicks. Keep us updated

I find it difficult to get a half bowl on the 20M as well as the titanium tip. I'm a veteran at this and struggle EVERY time.

Don't worry newbies, it's not user error. It's just not easy to fly your Dynaflag at half mast.

Hey, @junny89 go for it. Go deep. Put the single flame down low on the cap and go for it. Make it holy (toast the hell out of it). Make it click or burn. Seriously, it sometimes takes 35-40 seconds with a cold bowl, weak flame, planetary alignment... who knows man.

Point is: Keep heating it directly with a flame and you will only have 2 possible outcomes: Click or burn.

If you haven't clicked or burnt you haven't gone long enough with the flame.

The click will happen BEFORE the burn. So, keep going until you literally see and smell smoke and if that happens with no click - then, sorry dude. It's a bum unit. But, I don't know if you have gone deep enough yet.
