Today I went torch shopping.
rather stressfull for me but i need to practise going in actual stores and speaking to people.
I tend to think I dont like them and they dont like me. dont know what comes first.

anyways, was out to get a double flame.
could only find single and tripple.

bought two single cheapos and one triple torch in the beginner price range.
2x 3$ & 1x 15$

Now i have three working lighters.

been testing the vapcap with the full bowl setting with the triple torch.
huge difference now.
Not even near combustion after 3-4 bowls.
nice and sooo quick.

thats the biggest plus for the vapcap for me.
two bubbler draws in under a minute.
very very quick

Smile, Mr.S. A smile begats smiles; scowl, and you are wandering the outer fringes, I found......

My love affair with the world's best looking OmniVap XL continues! The whole experience just keeps getting better all the time. Sometimes I happen to glance at it and the fact it's mine rushes over me again. It's not the bling factor, it's the precision design and execution. Every aspect of the Omni is a pleasure to me.

@VapCap

Seeing some pictures of Vapcaps natively (or almost natively) fitting into 10mm glass joints made me think about a tapered metal mouthpiece instead of a metal WonG. I think it could be better both esthetically and practically (less weight and smaller diameter than a body tapered for a 14mm joint) and thus less expensive.
Are you suggesting a Ti spinning mouthpiece that is tapered to continue the lines of a Vong? Because that would look DOPE AF with either a wood or titanium Vong body/stem IMO. It might feel nicer on the lips as well maybe? But less material of the MP wouldn't mean less expensive necessarily. DV would just be removing more material from the titanium tube/rod, the cost of the tube/rod would remain the same. I don't see the motivation for DV to make the MP more complex to machine? That's just my understanding, there are probably other factors in the process that I'm not considering. I really like the idea a lot!

Nope, I was thinking about a tapered Ti mouthpiece that natively seals a 10mm female joint in order to avoid the need for a thicker WonG body while maintaining the option to be used with glass.

or they could sell 14mm to 10mm glass adapters

Of course, but my idea was to use it with a bubbler keeping the regular body.

Yup, I suggested something like this back in October! I was under the impression that all the stock mouthpieces besides the silicone fat mouthpiece on the OG fit a 10mm female though?

I wish the Omnivap mouthpiece came standard with a taper to fit a 14mm water pipe like my OG though, instead of even needing the vong body. That would make it slimmer, more versatile, and ultimate!

Ahhh, now I get what you're saying. Yeah I'm not sure why I misunderstood...:freak: Sorry friend!

@invertedisdead You're always coming up with the clever ideas first! Dang it! :haw:

Good deal now Mr. Sifter. You are breaking down barriers and are starting to make great progress in the dynavap revolution! It won't be too much longer and you will start to really get it.

The most important thing about using any torch....YOU MUCH USE THE BEST BUTANE YOU CAN FIND.....so important. The jets will get clogged easy and the lighter will be unusable when you use cheaper butane with impurities in it. Since you are in the EU area I believe.....you should have access to top quality butane compared to us in the US it seems to me....at least that was my experience trying to get the best here in USA.

Experiment with that single torch and you will start to find the way to make your vapcap have different results from heating with a single.

The original MP already can fit 10mm female joint perfectly

EDIT: the blackwood Spinning MP will fit even better!

That is the nicest looking mini bubbler I have seen. Love the wider heavier base it has. The others I have tend to be too tippy with my Air in it...this one you have looks much more stable for a bigger vape to use in it. How does that style perk work? Have a link?

OH....also don't leave that thing sitting around with the rubber mouth piece in it.....a baby might think it is something good for him/her. lol That is the first thing I thought of when I saw that....looks like a high tech baby bottle.....for adults only though.

This is my very first bubbler, i paid $16 to bought this at night market. This tiny bubbler work sucks with water, that little perk can only made very little bubble.
But it is natural born to pair with the vapcap, i do it dry with my vapcap, no need worry about water spill, the glass cool the vapor enough, and it is so tiny that i can perform mouth pull with it, give me cool and super huge dense cloud, i may share this video before

You know i have to say everyone here is great. where else would they accept someone like @Mr.Sifter Other forums etc. would have ridiculed him and only worsen the situation. Now he can use his vapcap and hopefully see things a bit brighter.

Interesting idea. I think I'll include that in my continuing research...; )

Does anyone else set the cap out from the end? I set mine so all the cooling fins are exposed. Edge of cap about halfway in the first groove.

Figure that gives a bit less restriction. Plus the cap out away from the load seems to facilitate a more even heating.

I apply single jet heat to the center of the cap (on the side)

One of the (only) frustrations I have with my VCs is keeping the caps round enough to stay loose on the tip. Periodically I need to work on them or they get difficult to remove with a magnet while hot. Making them tight enough to not drop down when creating negative pressure in the VC would make them even more difficult to remove hot.
I'm gonna pass on this one. While a little more airflow might be better, the airflow I have is good enough with my caps seated to not trade anything for more.

This is a good space.

I was in the service as a search and rescue for a long long time. Saw too many theaters of operation. Best bit of advice I ever received was from a green hat in nam.

“While you walk through the valley of death look for the flower. There will always be one. Be it a smiling child, a puppy wagging its tail or an actual flower.
Focus on the flowers in life.”

Time to take a tasty Vap-toke and play with Sadie (border collie).

Happy Friday Y'all, D'stash finally arrived, I don't often order online but when I do, I check that tracking package like 15 times a day lol. The bad weather that hit WI and the Holiday most likely had something to do with the hold up. freezing out here in the East this week wtf!

Dynavap already has their feeder up for sale.

https://www.dynavap.com/dynashop/accessories/dynavap-feeder

But I do remember the same feeder made for the Grasshopper by the same guy from Isreal.

The plastic used to print these will eventually flake off from friction ending up in your load.

If you zoom in close to Dynavaps pictures you can see plenty of extra plastic waiting to flake off.

Hopefully like George said in his video that maybe wood or metal could be an alternative

Yeah, I saw the feeder.
And I know the grasshopper feeder you are refering to.
the material is not on par with dynavap quality standard imho.
looks and feels "toyish".
I dont see the use.
I fill my cap straight from the grinder, just like i loaded my arizer solo stems.

anyway,
what are the snap stash containers like ?
anyone uses them?

I think the green and the purple tubes the vapcap comes in are ok to store ground bud in.
something like a doob tube.

I use these :

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B011MLF8UW/ref=ya_aw_oh_bia_dp?ie=UTF8&psc=1

You squeeze the sides at the top for a physical pop when it opens. They are smell proof, plus they fit my Omni XL with New generation NonaVong.

They do rattle around a bit but i use that plastic webbing Dynavap used to ship with inside the tube. Doesn’t rattle at all. ( Does anyone know a source of that plastic webbing? )

I am a gadget guy. I love toys. Maybe that is part of why the VCs appeal to me so much. Mix and match, etc. Legos. Erector Sets.

However (could you see that comin?) The VCs are really easy to load, either twist, suck or pour (most dif). Somehow I don't think a loader adds much to the process other than being cool. Nothing wrong with it that I can see, just no real need. To me.

Maybe I'm becoming a curmudgeon in my "advanced years".

I think the feeder would be good for people who use their vcs out on water (boat, canoe, kayak), especially if it's windy.

@CarlosSpiceyWein, good to know there are tubes available that fit the XL nonavongs. Dynavap has the XL blunt tubes now available on their website. Some members have said that they use the tubes for cleaning -- fill w/ ISO & drop the parts in. @Mr.Sifter, although I don't have 1st-hand experience, I have to assume that they are on par w/ the blunt tubes. When the 7-fin tips & mps are available you'll just have to buy both sizes for a grand total of $2. :D
