yeah maybe the beta testers got their units?

Nope, and my wife can tell you I am never quiet when nicely vaped, which means I am never quiet.

I don't do pics or video since I am old and from a time when we believed we where always being watched, now I live in a time when we really are always being watched. This leads to a point, I will takes pics and vid of unpacking, setup, usage and cleaning and send it to someone willing to upload this stuff to post here. Let me know if I have a victim, I mean volunteer.

Then you must be a helluva lot older than me, eh?
Maybe, maybe not. I just live in a place where they still put you in jail for possession, been there done that, not my cup of tea. Plus I am still gunning for a political position so I don't want a paper trail, ok that is a lie, they probably drug test.

So many new vapes now to choose from!! i love it..decisions...........
Ugh I always melt at a pretty sight. Just keep posting for the next week here and I will survive my wait for beta unit.

Yes, seems the pendulum swung from portable to desk tops, I was wondering when that would happen and I am anxious for it. Living in a non medical state I am always in need of stealth unit but at home I really want excellent performance. ATM (and I don't mean ass to mouth) I feel portable has plug in units beat in the concentrate arena, this seems very ass backwards, ok maybe I do mean ass to mouth here. About fucking time! But I am getting ahead of myself, other oil beta units I am reading about still do not do it perfect. This is why I like this unit, well I like what Leiana says, truth be told I think I just like Leiana but that is a different story.

Wtf, not sure who typed all that, my children are asleep and only one can barley read. Can my penis actually type? I really hope not or else I have a ton of forums I need to go check, like alway I will chalk it up to an exceptional BHO run with some fine flowers and call it a day. Sorry for all I may have offended.

In response to the thread in the last 24 hours.... LMAO!@@#@!$@#!@#!@$!@!$@!#@ ROFL

Okay....yes I am very happy.... down to business.

I need to be fed, I am starving for a video, more info, pics, really anything to pass the time until this unit is in my hands! LOL.
You got it, I will make a video for you within 24hrs of the new vape.

Salutations Leiana,

Although i understand it's not ready for discussion i was hoping the Versa Ion project wouldn't depend on a custom-built Induction Heater made available through the manufacturer only.

Have you considered the option to simply rely on a customer's own IH plate instead? Mine only cost a hundred bucks at Sears years ago and it has plenty of power, in the Kilo-Watt range actually... So, all an induction vaporizer would really require is a metal disk the size of a CD-ROM (for detection) which is inserted inside a glass heat-exchanger topped by a GonG joint i guess.

All I can say right now is, we like to provide people with something they can use right out of the box. Sounds like a good DIY project though.

Lets talk about the units

Some of the restrictions we face:
Beta units cant use integrated shell color:

I know our polls showed that many of you preferred integrated color in the glass. We can only provide that by spring due to the large time investment needed to do it properly. We have to have pigment integrated in the making of the glass rods themselves. Holy smokes what an undertaking to do that with American glass manufacturers. For now we can only supply you with high grade enameled units. The good thing is that we are having every unit frosted on the interior. That way if you go nuts and tear off all of the enamel, you will have an original frosted unit. It also enhances the ability for color to be represented on the interior of the unit without requiring enamel in the air path. This is crucial for our halogen bulbs because your air path is the ambient glass space between the heater cover and the glass shell.

We cant include temperature sensors in our beta heating elements:
Major F-bomb on this one. We explored every single way to add a thermocouple to these beta units so it can use the temp readout panels but in order to utilize this feature we have 2 options:
1. Clip a thermocouple to the heater cover & look a little ghetto.
2. Wait the 6 - 8 weeks its going to take for the new heaters to arrive once we place the order.

Every beta unit owner of the Infinity MKII will be offered a new heating element a no additional cost once we have them in our hands. At that point you can buy the new control unit at our manufacturing cost like I mentioned before. This way no one is left craving a unit and no one is left without the upgrades. Sometimes you need contrast to appreciate the additions. This will be good, like building a relationship. As a beta tester its your job to guide us through the units strong and weak points. When we implement a change on your beta all you have to do is swap out the older parts for our upgrades. Everything will be backwards compatible.

Thats pretty much it.We're On Schedule
We are still building the units on schedule. Our glass blower also works with GE, Clorox, and some government contracts so our glass blowing process has been a littler slower that they expected this week. After your units are built we will continue to build inventory for our spring release. We have an IndieGoGo campaign coming soon which will display some of our CAD designs of the new thermocontroller base for the MKII. Its a campaign to support both the G1 & the MKII. Pre-orders can be made through that medium.

SubZero VaporTube
We will soon release a vertical tubes that you guys will love. We should have pics in a couple weeks. I'll be giving beta participants first dibs on the ability to test them. They will likely be available in early Feb for the people to try out.

We will plan on releasing that new video soon, less than 24hrs.
THIS IS OUR FEW VIDEOs, I AM POSTING IT FOR THOSE WHO HAVENT SEEN IT BEFORE. LOTS OF PAGES TO SORT THROUGH. These videos are the G1's design now since we have upgraded the Infinity's design since joining FC. We just love the G1 so much we had to keep it.

...

We cant include temperature sensors...

It seems i may have failed to put sufficient focus on Curie alloys such as PhyTherm 230, etc.

Can you imagine potential customers being told they must replace their brand new IH cooker hardware with another set which has been specifically customized to match cooking pans still advertized for sales yet to come?... IMO chances are most people would expect those pans to be compatible instead!

So, i believe compatibility as with that of other kitchen hardware should be seen as an advantage and not just DIY stuff - but that's only one member opinion and i'm still curious about the Versa Ion project.

I am very impressed at how the manufacture is coming on the board and responding to feedback. @Leiana you are doing this the right way. I am strapped for cash on another vape for now, but I will be looking forward to how this develops. Keep up the good work on a great looking product at a great price point. I am envious of the beta testers!

Thanks! I hope you have a hookah for your unit. It might just become your favorite bowl.

We hope that once we release the G1, those who are looking at cost / performance ratio will give us a glance.
You never know, Santa claus might deliver G1's on 4/20. When you give good vibes, you get good vibes.

Progress:
New concentrate bowls have been engineered. They are now a 2 piece design. We saw a flaw in the application of Wax into the bowl and also cleaning the pieces.

We havent been posting much because there has been 100% focus going into every angle of the business. FC is our arrival ground for these new updates.

Our additions are taking a little extra time but not too much longer. You'll have them soon. Next week is the new ETA if everything is smooth.

NEW CIRCUIT BOARDS!!!! YESSSS

These circuit boards are heavy duty and can handle over 1900W of AC current. Perfect for the new halogen bulbs that are 500W. We have seen an decrease in heat-up time across the board. Also concentrates can be reached right from the variable dial so we still plan to have a separate switch for Concentrates but we also wanted to let you know that now if you want to tweak that temp you've got a new range from 200F to 750F. You can add roughly 50F to that with the concentrates mode.

I Love the community atmosphere we share here. I hope we can continue to serve you in an effective way. Just let me know if I can do anything better for you. <3

I wanna be a G1 Joe. :D

Great videos, and nice vapour production. Impressive how the herb stayed green for so long. :)

I'd like to see a video of a long slow draw at high temps, aka "the milk shot", perhaps in a future video that could be possible? :)

Nice work.

Ok after 3 watches of the Vid... I've got to ask this question @Leiana : Is it still possible to add a concentrates bowl to the beta order? I want to make sure I can properly test this... and I know I'll be kicking myself when everyone else is raving about it! :peace:

Excellent vape porn , I need some tissues now....

@Leiana What temp does 77 V translates to ?

I'm disappointed at myself for NOT jumping on the Beta program .:mental:

Thank you so much for your kind words! We really appreciate the reflections you give about how we are doing.
IMG_9861.jpg

Lets talk about this 77V
The surface temp currently reads at about 550F. Your air flow rate will determine the heat concentration of the air. If you draw fast like the person in the video, you will not get milky clouds or combustion at this temp. If you draw slowly you will get a very milky hit but you might only get one to 2 draws before you have nothing left to vape.

Remember this:
Surface temp vs air flow temp will differ due to the amount of heat concentration that can be picked up in one pass.

Also:
Once you go beyond this voltage range you WILL burn the herb if the heating element heats up all the way. You could use a high voltage like 70V to 84v to support a longer high speed draw like with our vapor ballon but everything is comes down to situational awareness. If you have one of these units you will become pro at knowing what situation needs what voltage.

Jack of all trades, master of none.
Can't wait to try the beauty out! Sooooo glad I jumped on board. Looks to be very promising! If only I could get concentrates.:rockon:

I see a section on the low temp flower, high temp flower, but I didn't see the BHO usage in the video. Did I just miss it?
'Twas in between those two sections of video good sir.

Edit: Shit, double post. My apologies mods. modnote: apology accepted.
