Discontinued ThermoVape Revolution for concentrates

It seems to me the revolution is an accessory, and as such we will leave it all in one thread for now. I get what you are saying, though, as I don't have any use for concentrates right now either, and I just skip most of those posts.

I really hate to digress but i am really medicated from 4 battery swaps with this thing :ko:

but for someone to make a decision based on not having an interest in the topic is hardly fair man...

I highly doubt it will be a problem, while the T1 can be converted to a Rev, the Rev is also sold as a stand alone vape (the sans delrin model) It's barely different from having different Omicron/persei threads honestly, anyways it's not for me or you to stress, if mods deem it unwanted POOF! threads merged, no real harm done, no need for the OF thread police to intervene ;)

I too think it's under control.

To be honest, I took offense to your last statement. After a bit of thought I guess you either didn't follow that a mod made a ruling which was ignored (or otherwise missed), or you don't consider that part important. Either is fine with me.....but no need for name calling is there?

So whats the max load for bho?

I've never heard one from TV, and I asked pointedly. I was told if over filled oil goes out the vent holes above the threads and into the socket and onto (if not into?) the switch. I decided to not to that. I've loaded 5 drops (full as near as I could tell), and 1/8 gram or so of wax and taffy without problems.

I believe I read someone put .25 gram in.

One thing sure, the volume inside to hold the oil is not all that big. You can see about half the top plate through the hole in the floor (it's thin). There's also a sleeve (different material, I think?) around the heater itself. Thinking back I'd say maybe 3/16 ID, 5/16 or so OD and 1/8 or so high. Not very much volume to hold the oil.

Good luck with your experiments.

Although I generally like humor, and typically overindulge in it, this issue to me borders on respect for authority. Something I don't consider a joking matter. We agree to follow the rules when we come here, this issue is well covered. I've no doubt that such respect for authority (or for others for that matter) and willingness to abide by your agreements isn't as big with many of the younger folks around.

Such is life.

I have been doing maybe .1 at a time of budder and it seems to all soak down into the element, im sure it can take a good deal more but ive been playing it safe to keep from gumming it up so far. As a side note im up to around 35 clouds now on one set of batteries, we'll see how far they go

I estimated that I put in .25 of Amber Glass last night. It was so sticky and messy that I couldn't weigh it properly, just eyeballed the amount (about half of the original container which held .5g).

I noticed that there are two different prices from the links of the OP. $149 for some and $249 for others. Am I missing something here?

The 149 is for the stand alone revolution kit (everything you need for only concentrates)
And the 249 is for the TV1 kit (everything you need for only herbs)
Edit: @OF you realize that I didn't start this thread right?

Apologies welcome....

It's a bug with the web site. I was looking at mouth pieces one day and it said that the TV was $8.97 under related products. Just depends what product you are looking at.

Another bug is when the pictures scroll and change sizes it moves all the text and makes it a pain to read.

Concentrate

I have found its a bit of a pain to vape the more impure concentrates

They leave a build up of plant material that impairs the heat flow through/over the rest of it

it requires much stirring to achieve full/tasty hits, YMMV

lets hear more about what other owners thinks and are medicating with

Is it a problem leaving the batteries charging for longer than they need?

My heating element is super dirty already, after a super heavy tryout session

got through 2 types of oil

some bubble and dry sift

The bubble and dry sift had some plant material in them and needed stirred and packed down into the middle on top of the ceramic element often in order to maintain thick hits.

Overall tho a great device, needs more batteries for this version as well, 2 sets wont cut it, 3 would be great
It vapes all types of concentrate very well, taste is what you would expect from your material which is great.

I think it is heating unevenly now though due to the ceramic getting dirty and does not get dark on probably 45% of the surface when cleared of all visible debris with a toothpick(hope it does not damage the ceramic? how long is the warranty?)

Yup, sure do. Not that it matters, I wasn't looking to point at people, only what happened.

Thanks.

No. Not at all. The charge control is actually built into each battery's protection circuit. The battery itself shuts down charging when it's had enough. It's perfectly OK to leave charged batteries there, in fact some guys like knowing where a fresh set is waiting.

I'm sorry to hear about your luck. :( I HATE UPS AND FED EX! those jerks charge you brokerage fees because they can. no other reason than that. because they can. FUCK THEM! haha, i paid 87 in brokerage fees for my volcano back when i got it. That was the worst one ever, and I will never forget it.

sorry i have been gouged by them too many times! i hate em with a passion.

my priority usps took 3 days to get from Cali, to rural Ontario! amazing! 2200 miles!

If it is getting dirty, a 5 minute boil can do wonders for cleaning it back up. Of course the white ceramic gets stained. We have a cleaning video (link at top of the thread. Warranty is 3 months. Cleaning it by boiling and then using a toothbrush to knock off anything still clinging on is recommended, followed by a another rinse in the boiling water if needed. Toothpicks are fine for stirring/adjusting the material in the chamber.

only 8-10 hits on a full battery charge??? I thought this thing use less power than the T1 does.

So I am on the learning curve. I might have put a little too much sticky gooey bubble hash in mine, I have to get it pretty hot to start getting vapor. I will try to clean some of that out of there and try again.

I would just like to say I thoroughly enjoyed them also! are you a medicinal user then? I used to watch tokin daily all the time. seems like a cool guy.

you only have the rev right? I have not seen nearly enough videos of the TV1 in action. Like use with herbs in it type videos!

I love the Thermovape guys videos too, but really now at this point I want to see some TV1 vapor
