since we're talking different vapes, what is everyone using as a portable non-electric companion for the mflb?

As of today, I still have not received my WPW. :(

usps definitely screwed up because they sent it PAST my city. I knew something was wrong then. I hope they actually get it sent BACK to my city sometime soon. Maybe I'll get it sometime next week. I know I must be the only one who hasn't received theirs yet. :(

I'm at a loss here I guess. "Companion" as in 'to go with'? No other vapes for sure, having one of the best, why? Other gear? My standard 'premeasured loads and charged batteries' answer is out since it has batteries?

If, OTOH the question is alternative non electric vapes (?) my answer right now would probably be "Vapman, Iolite and VG". In that order.

I got my WPW today (Got mine through the FB offer). Works just as good as the WPA, maybe even better in some cases. Don't have to worry about lining up the box to the hole just right like you do with the original WPA. So I can use this in low light settings while playing PS3 with ease. The hits are nice too. Can get some milky thick hits if your draw is right. Thanks MFLB :D

I made my first vapor convert; my roommate's launch box came in the mail today. Once he gets off work, I get to go through the fun of unpackaging a new launch box all over again. :) Can't wait to see mine and another side by side to compare the little differences. Fun stuff.

Too bad the new batteries aren't shipping with the maple boxes yet…

I have yet to receive mine as well, it says it left the USPS shipping depot in LA on the 11th, and it hasn't updated with any further information since, not even to tell me it has crossed the border up into Canada. Hopefully they don't route it all the way through Ontario for some reason or other.

Was browsing mf's site and noticed that they updated their online order page as well as adding some new launchbox products that have patterns etched in the acrylic, such as this one for example:

figured I would share the update.

The roommate's new maple box looks really nice, it's got one dark line in the wood right underneath the words "always stronger than fear" on the bottom. I'll have to try and get a picture.

The screen in the trench does look a bronzer color than my 3 month old box, I wonder if it's a new material or just a new burn-in process.

my bad, i was thinking of a "companion" more like of a back-up vape for stituations, when your batteries are empty and there is no electrical outlet near you, like at a festival. the lotus caught my attention for its butane free air path.

VapeWorld is a reliable vendor and I have had many transactions with them. Realize that it is the holiday season and they have been running specials. They could be a little back logged. One week is not that long to wait, even if it seems like an eternity when waiting for your vape.

I do not care for the idea of etchings in the acrylic.
It looks like dirt/residues could get into the laser etchings lines.
That is only the 1st issue.
It disguises the load, so you can not see if you are shaking it well... and you can not easily see the trenches level or color.

Meh... The etching is umm... Ok. I guess. Think it would be much cooler to get a custom laser etched logo or your name on the box. Like maybe even a special limited holiday edition with skull cowboy smoking dude logo thingy on the back.

I could see it now.... HELLO. I'm GOATPUSSYs #4 box.

exactly my first thought when i saw the acrylic etchings. i don't know about you guys but i like to constantly check on the trench color after every hit. maybe a little OCD on my part? i'm more of a functionality over aesthetics guy. whatever floats people's boats i guess...

I'd prefer a laser-etched design on the acrylic that covered everything except the trench. Could look really nice with a good design…

yeah i just check out those new boxes with the design on them.they look cool but there not practical.one advantage of using the box is seeing the herb clearly.i would think using the these new boxes would be like using your boxes with a buildup stuck to the lid.which get annoying after time.still loving my new walnut box.when the load is same color as my box,i know its done now lol.life just got easier .
